I used to buy rotisserie chicken but not to mention it’s not organic and not Pasteur raised. So I just buy organic whole chicken throw it in oven easy and done
I love you channel. Cooking at home is indeed healthy but it is really difficult when you work for all day and have to try to cook a meal. What are some healthy options you can buy in the store or restaurant?
Hi Flave: Buy a crock pot. I find crock pots are a life saver. Also, what I do is cook in large quantities, portion the food in plastic Tupperware containers, let the food cool, and then put them in the freezer. I have a healthy and nutritious meal. In my opinion, there aren't many healthy and nutritious food options in stores or restaurants. Loaded with salt and/or sugar. I hope this helps you, Flave.
This is terribly late, but it is a good idea to add a little acid to the bones and water when making stock. Helps get more minerals and collagen out of the bones. I usually use a bit of white wine and lemon juice. Also adds taste. But a bit of vinegar would also work. Just don’t over do it!
I have a question for you. I have reduced my carbohydrates by over 50 percent. I noticed that my blood pressure is declining. I am going to pay for a A1C test tomorrow to find out if lowering my A1C is the cause of my decline? Could I possibly be right?
My BP was super high and I didn’t cut carbohydrates per se but I did a bunch of label reading and realized that store bought bread had SO much sodium. I cut bread, but not carbs like pasta or rice and my BP came down significantly.
I am recommended by my doctor to have “meals on wheels “ to lower my uncontrollable blood sugar. I don’t like it but sure enough it lower my blood sugars compared to my cooking. It was a bland diet , i just put some black pepper and mustard. The quantity of food really matters.
Because these things are loaded with salt? I think you missed a few things and probably should have mentioned....sugar, oils, chemicals, preservatives, dyes, pesticide residue and more. Actually salt is the least harmful thing this garbage contains. Vicki

Are the chicken organs healthy to eat when you have CKD, or is best to discard them?

Would not eat liver. Now I love it with onions and ketchup.
Never liked Tomatoes, ever. Now I enjoy them in my salads

So you make us think that you're going to tell us what sugar to use and then your conclusion is you figure it out seriously?
