People should teach how to close these options
My thinking exactly. He shows us the potential profit, but I'm wondering how that actually works in real life. He never shows us how to exit the position to turn that potential into reality.

You’re not supposed to close the option , you’re to ride it till it crashes. That’s the first problem you’re running in to , the stock you’re holding NEEDS to land ITM.

Hey Henry.. curious to know if you can run say 3 of these creating 3 “ trees” side by side to widen your profitability zone since the max loss is so minimal ?
It's possible to place multiple trees, but you are still risking losing money as the price moves between the trees. You also have to factor in theta decay and recognize that the value of the contracts will change day-to-day, usually becoming less valuable closer to expiration. The different trees will decay differently depending on the stock price. There's a strategy that can "widen" the range called delta hedging, where you purchase actual shares of the stock as the price moves out of the ideal range, and sell them for profit as the price moves back into range that some people use as a form of insurance,but that requires extra capital that some people may not have. people mostly use that when they're trying to sell straddles or calendar spreads to capitalize on implied volatility and they have extra money to hedge.
Also, I don't know why he calls them trees - as far as I can tell, this is an Iron Butterfly strategy. Although honestly I think the tree name scheme makes more sense.
As the strike price is moving through your trees close them out when they are profitable and try not to hold them too long. I did this with Tesla in Lululemon and because two of the trees overlapped and was close to my start price I was profitable on both
Yes , after you edit the ratio and you have 2 sells to 2 buys then hit continue.then where it says 1 under limit order, chose the number you want for example 2 or 3. check your profit and loss , if you are happy with that click review.if all looks good ...SUBMIT
Why is it when I try to sell these option spreads, they never sell and I lose money? I ran a PLTR strategy youve shown and it has been on a sell limit for 3 days with only a dollar gain overall

When we close the options deals trying to profit, how can we be sure the asset price at the exact moment the options being closed is close to the at-the-money option strike price?

Is this strategy best used when the option strategy expires even when it's in the money, I got a call option and strike price keeps going up. Making me more into the money, but bid and ask got cheaper the more it goes up

To all of you who wants to try this, there's a 85% chance is not going to work. As I'm writing this, I have an NVDA contract. 2 sell calls @ $460 and 2 buy calls $455/$465. Took it 2 weeks ago. It'll expire tomorrow. Cost me $40 with a "max profit" of $195. The most I've made was $20. Right now I'm losing money. Here's the other thing: The profit changes in seconds. So you might be $50 up,and by the time you close it it probably went down to $10 or less. There's no easy way to win in the market 🙄
Not only recycled but most titles are seemingly clickbait. $10 into $1000 but never shows that exact strategy. Makes soooo much trading he needs to seemingly make clickbaity, recycled and I feel copied RUclips videos that aren't his.
So to do this strategy with AAL you’d need to start off with $3200 and have level 3 Robin Hood? What strategies should I practice paper trading elsewhere to practice on level 2 RH so that I can move up to level 3 ?

Why $3200?
Unlocking level 3 on robinhood is quite easy. Pick a level 3 options strategy, study the basic concepts like necessary collateral, max profit/loss, whether you want the actual stock price to move up/down, etc. Contact RH support, and they'll set up a phone call with you to test you. They'll ask you why you want Level 3 and what strategies you want to employ, then you pick the one you studied, and answer the basic questions they ask about it. If you answer enough correctly, they'll approve you for L3. You can even write down notes and just look at them while you're on the call.
Just keep in mind that while selling contracts via spreads has somewhat limited risk, you can still lose a lot of money if things don't go your way!

I found it hard to close positions for profit as it appears. For example, the stock price could be in the green range or maybe even at the peak but the option market price could be -3, or +5. Point being I’ve never seen instance where I can close a position for all that profit without letting it expire.
Correct, look up "intrinsic value" of options contacts to understand why they are valued differently at expiration as opposed to earlier

If you're curious of what content to make I have a few suggestions
Make videos of how you do research on companies you're doing options plays on and so the research process
Start an account with a realistic amount of money and grow that over a couple months showing the small little bit of due diligence do you use to research your trades and manage them
Try a couple different brokers and start an account with them trade over couple months and then give us a review on them
Dumb question but if you make the play that you showed first and you set it out for a week later, can you sell it the next day if it’s on the price you set?
Not a dumb question. I would recommend looking up "intrinsic value" of options contacts

Hey Henry. Long time subscriber here. Another informative video, just paced too fast. Again... 🤷♂ Feels like a run on sentence/video. Don't get me wrong, still helpful, but more difficult to grasp. Slow down some for us beginners. Make us feel like you care again. ☺ I remember when your videos were paced a bit slower. Was nice. Now you cut so much air out after each sentence it feels like a run on video. Too speedy. Sry. Space your sentences out a bit more and I bet your viewers would quietly appreciate it. 😉
