I have always read this ghazal and particularly the sher (couplet).
chale duniyā se jis kī yaad meñ ham
ġhazab hai vo hameñ bhūlā huā hai

na kyūñkar bū-e-ḳhūñ naame se aa.e
usī jallād kā likkhā huā hai

kahūñ kyā haal aglī ishratoñ kā

jafā ho yā vafā ham sab meñ ḳhush haiñ
kareñ kyā ab to dil aTkā huā hai
huī hai ishq hī se husn kī qadr
hamīñ se aap kā shohrā huā hai
butoñ par rahtī hai maa.il hamesha
tabī.at ko ḳhudāyā kyā huā hai
