Watching the progress of your art room made me wanna rearrange my work own art space. So I got new curtains, some shelves for my paper merch and moved everything around. Your videos are always fun and inspiring and I love your space. So glad you finally got it ready.
I will never forget watching one of your old zkittyz art station tours, with the "Aaaaaaanything from the trolley?" Makes me realize how long I've been around watching your videos!
Your room is literally an inspiration station, I can’t imagine anyone ever getting artist block with all of those beautiful prints, dolls and supplies to inspire something new every time.
Actually seeing your whole room at one time make me realize how much you had to carry up those stairs. Its so nice you made something great out if a shitty situation though !
That top shelf in the closet looks ready to snap from the weight of all that stuff on it, you should get some brackets or similar to reinforce it so it doesn't collapse! 😯
@@BayleeJae You could display some of them in the living room, along with some of your other art, if there's wall space to make a gallery of your art. Then anyone who visits would get to see some of your original art up close. Or even display a few things in your bedroom.
Minute 14 made me happy. lol. Love the room it has almost like a different atmosphere from the old room. Where you get the cases for you collectables? We could definitely use some in my house my hubby keeps everything from his life, hoarder style but it'll all pretty cool.
The room looks a lot bigger too. I also love to be surrounded by stuff that I love, in what I call my sanctuary room. I keep it to one room so as not to overcrowd the rest of the house. I love seeing people’s reactions to my sanctuary room, especially since I always leave it till last. The rest of the house has a beach vibe to it.
I did roll my cables with elastics, aside from the ones that were too short (I showed it all up close in a recent vlog). The space above the door isn't high enough to fit dolls.
Hello Baylea, Old subscriber first comment. Cannot believe how quickly you and your friends have moved all that from old art room to this which looks so much nicer! was wondering how you would fit everything in WOW what a difference! Everything happens for a reason and you just oooooze inspiration...….so proud of you, love watching and learning all the time. Thank You Hugs from England.
I love your new work space! I know it sucks having a flood in your house and dealing with insurance because I had a home flood in 2017, but I can honestly say we love our home more now because it's lighter, brighter and more put together than it ever would have been if it had never happened!
Love the Art Room! You are such a inspiration, your personality is just so fabulous and you always make me and probably others so happy when we see a new video of yours! :) I hope you never stop your passion and just letting you know, we all love you! :) x
Really lovely Baylee!! I'm glad you feel better in this new art room even though a flood came in in your old one. What matters is that you feel better in your space and motivated and inspired as you do what you love. When I see your art room tour its so colorful and vibrant and your show your decorations and its so gorgeous!! Like the touch of the Disney art form the Wonderground gallery I like that place a lot and miss buying art from it. I think by seeing your art room tour over the years made me think about decorating my room as how it now. I agree on some parts of decorating things that look cluttered can really make you feel inspired and be in your zone. Specially when its art work or anything that I would put on a wall I like to have it touch another piece that's hanging so the space doesn't look empty. Great seeing these again and that your happier in your work space its so calming seeing these.
I would die of happiness in this room. Belle is my favorite Disney princess and I got SO excited at all the Belle stuff... I even have the wooden Belle ornament with the base that makes her sing.
I love how your gallery wall turned out! Also I lived for a long time without an A/C so I know the struggle, but a box fan in your window can be surprisingly effective at making your room cooler. You could also try putting it in the doorway if you're worried about the noise.
I love it! I would never have so many things out myself, because I have OCD and get overwhelmed easily. But I can still appreciate how nice this looks. I especially love the wall with all the art. don't think it looks cluttered because it is orderly and clean. What matters is that you feel good in it.
Omg I relate so much to feeling creative and inspired when surrounded by stuff! My family always thought it was messy, and it can kind of look overwhelming but I love it! I love my sister's clean and simple aesthetic too and once tried to strive for it when I moved out, but I didn't even realize that eventually I began filling my walls with posters and artwork and it turned into the same creative filled room as the one back home lol
I love your new art room! It's literally goals for me because I've been slowly trying to frame my art collection and hang it up! Everything is so nice and pretty and it doesn't look cluttered at all! I've never actually seen your whole doll collection so I was super excited about that! I think you are gonna feel a lot better with that big window!
I actually think I like this room better than your downstairs art room! I think it's because it's lighter, and feels more like an art room. Clean, fresh and more trendy!
I enjoyed seeing your room. You have done a great job! It was a blessing after all to have to move upstairs. I am like you...I enjoy seeing my things out and they inspire me. So glad to know I have a kindred spirit. You are amazing and I enjoy your videos. I'd like to see you paint again. Love your painting time and sketching.
I am swooning over your art room!! I love all the Disney things you do! We certainly are kindred spirits! I just found your channel, but I will definitely spend some time exploring it! Keep creating!!!
Your new art room is beautiful! I’m glad you had another room to set up in without too much trouble. I hope your rental manager can get the basement fixed soon so you can get back to normal.
I remember when I first started watching you 4 years ago!! And the first video I Ceres watched was your 2015 art room tour!!!! You have come so far and you are the only reason I am with my art skills today!! I always watch your videos like 4 times and then try to make a remake of your drawing my own way!! That is what gives me inspiration and what my skill is now!! Soon one day I hope I can meet you!! I got a huge print of your girl and dog drawing and I have it hanging up in my art room!!!
Baylee Jae Your comment means so much to me cause I look up to you so much and you just replying is the best thing ever!! I hope you do a art convention in The US near Connecticut because I would totally go and meet you!! If you ever don’t then I will have to meet it some way else! Love your creativity so don’t stop because that means I would 😭 Love you and hope you have a great night!!!
I noticed that your oils are the water soluble oil paints do you mix them with regular oil paint? I could not tell if all of the paints were of the water soluble kind. Please show us how you use the oil paints Soon! I hope you are happy with the new room and we are all looking forward to seeing your next art video ! Have a Grand Day!
I do have some regular oils (Gamblin) but I just got them and haven't used them yet. I'll have to research to see if they can be used with my old ones. I just assumed I wouldn't be able to.
@@BayleeJae I did a lot of research too and depending upon which brand you can mix up to 30% of solvent based oil paint with water based oil paints and still use water for clean up but your safer staying at 10% to keep the solvents from destroying the catalyst that keeps the water-based molecules intact. Almost sounds like I know what I am talking about, but I am just parroting what I read!
It's also possible to use the different oil paint types in the same painting by layering. You would use the water-mixable oils first, and once those are dry, you could use regular oils on top. Follow the "lean to fat/fat over lean" rule for oils!
of course it's your choice but I think having a few darker pieces of furniture against the white looks really nice, just a bit of contrast in all the bright ^^ your room really came together well! what will the old spooky ooky art room become?
Yeah, it especially helps balance out the darkness of the monitors/computer. The old room will become a guest room, which is what this room used to be.
It’s cool how you have enamel pins and buttons!! I am also addicted to those.. I mean, how can you not love these?? I think it’d be great if you made a video on how you make those, where to get the materials, etc. If you already do, woo!!! I’m going to go watch those now. Well after the video.
So glad it came together! I love how you organized the pin board and how you put the white fabric over it. It matches well with the rest of the room :D
@5:51 OMG IT'S JUDY!!! I haven't seen Judy in forever. Last time I remember seeing her was when Baylee was living in the second apartment room they lived in.
Your room looks great. All that matters is what inspires you and makes you happy. I do find that I like having a lot of color around, it makes me feel very artsy lol. I am getting ready to redo my whole art room very very soon. We are pretty much doing an early spring cleaning soon. Mostly to prepare in case I need to have surgery again soon.
Omg it looks very nice! I have been loving the natural light and the overall setup of this upstairs room. I enyoyed seeing this room evolve and I look forward to new vieos in the new space for the new year!
Yes! I love your artroom.. and I'm a sucker for organising. Love how you've set it up, and I can't believe how quickly you moved from downstairs to upstairs. I definitely need to give my artroom a Konmari makeover.. hopefully I'll be able to film it for my channel soon.
Absolutely incredible!! 👏💖 I love seeing all of the amazing artwork, beautiful collectibles and stunning dolls! 💖 I’m so glad you’re enjoying your new room, it looks awesome!! 👏👏👏💖💖💖
Those are the expensive dolls too. All my dolls are second hand from the thrift store. This has come a long way Baylee! It looks so bright and professional! I am in love with your feature wall with all the prints and your play buttons! I hope this new room inspires you to create so much more amazing art =D
I could totally relate about those prismacolor trays. I do love how they look when they are arranged in those trays however when I use them, it's really annoying to grab a pencil on the next layer and then move the first layer back after using it.. I ended up putting everything in a cup.
This makes me want to clean and organize my room as well but I'm currently moving and going to be in an apartment only a few months but I can't until like April when I move into my house when it's ready.
I never knew how much I like drawers in a desk until I didn't have one and always have to crouch next to a cabinet and dig for the stuff I need instead of just pulling a drawer and taking it xd
You should get another Kallax from Ikea to place under the window. That would eliminate two of the shelfs you have now. And make room for all you books, pens and that printer. And you can add on drawers to it now too.
Never realised how iconic your old desk was! Here’s to making new icons in the new art room! 💙
Rose Blue i was thinking the same thing!
Nothing against the old art room but I think this one looks better. It just feels more cohesive.

The closet shelf is holding on with just hope 😳 maybe you could add a shelf support in the middle.
Yeah, it needs a bracket, haha.

now that's an inspiring art room
This vid should’ve been titled “Art Room Tour with a game. Can you list all the times you see Kiki??”
I suggest a box frame for your nightmare before Christmas art 😉
I mean for storage, not displaying. If I do more 3D art, I can't display them all.
