Good but i'm think lion dancing in Malaysia would be better
im in malaysia, I would say 99% of lion dance in malaysia unable to compete with this, i dont dare to say for that 1%, maybe 95% of them only perform or practice b4 the cny, mainly to make some money, not hoping to take part in any competition.

@@chasyerwed3288 yes, malaysia has the world champions, doesnt mean the average of malaysian lion dance is good, perhaps there are too many lion dance here in malaysia, most of them only have the basics, they cant do jumping on pillars, cant roll, cant stack, cant ... do alot of shit. but those really good ones are really rare.
@@narf0339 I've seen in Pavilion, much better than this one. Maybe they are from Australia perform in Malaysia.
Junn Kit Wong most probably you have not lived long enough in malaysia, or you are not a malaysian. Many shopping malls have lion dance performances which are way better than this. These are considered basic moves plus in msia, they are performed by younger people of various races, not only chinese e.g. lion dance society in schools. Which is good to keep the tradition running. You will also see backflips or a couple of lions performing on poles. This is a good performance too no doubt. But this may be the only best performance you see in sydney chinatown. So I hope you will travel to malaysia and have a look for yourself before making judgements.

Costume not as beautiful as those worn by the Singapore, Malaysia and China groups. Movements are far too big and not graceful at all
