    Vidoes like this are EXACTLY what the community needs. Building team synergy like this is absolutely vital to completing and extracting on higher difficulties, but the community seems to just want to run lone wolf builds constantly. Hopefully we see a shift in mind set soon, thanks to vidies like this.

      yeah, I try to build something different from my teammates since they are all running roughly the same build. Typically I've been running a tank build against bots. Heavy armor with explosive resist, shield gen (can be dropped if facing bugs), shield backpack, HMG, and 4th slot EAT (can be dropped if reduced to 3 slots vs bots). It fills much the same role as the arc thrower one. Be there to soak up shots and take out anything smaller than the tank/hulk (although the HMG can kill hulks from the front if you shoot both legs out).

      I agree people need to stick together more and stop running off by themselves. I get so annoyed when everyone is scattered all over it just makes things way more difficult than it needs to be.

      @@casanova3039 this is actually incorrect. Spawning mechanics stack in groups and bring separated splits it up it also splits objectives up and speed running exist in every game even here it's why you are rewarded XP and slips for faster clear times.

      Also, I've never played a game where the weapons are so differentiated and unique feeling to each other. I only wish they had a piercing weapon that would not only pierce armor but shoot through to any enemies behind in the line of fire. Dark Souls had a spell what would do that and it was so viscerally great. You could run away and line up a bunch of enemies as they tracked you, then mow them all down.

      @@RealAsianRobot Ha, you are probably right. I wish they could not buff any weapons or stratagem and let us have all the ammo and fire power we want and just buff the creatures! I can't believe how a little buff to the Scorcher totally changed how it feels. By the way, I wasn't even aware that the Arc Thrower would work at all with the bot, so thanks to you for that information!

    Man glad to see you doing Helldivers 2 as well! I recall your darktide guides worked great, so I can expect the same thing from these ones. Really helpful, especially because I've been fighting terminids for so long that I forgot how different the bots are.

    You don't need to wait for the door to open to destroy fabricators with impact grenade. Just stay a few meters away, aim with your primary at the lowest point of the hatch and use quick grenade. It will arc perfectly and destroy the fabricator.

      @@RealAsianRobot Yeah. I used to think they were incapable of destroying fabricators through the hatch, but I started using my primary to help me align my aiming. Now I can do it automatically, but for those struggling, just do this trick to get used to it.

      @@77rockcityYou can destroy fabricators by throwing them at the exposed front door, or arcing it perfectly at the top vents *with impact grenades*

    I've been running stun grenades when I have the auto cannon, can use the AC to destroy fabs at a long range too. Stun grenade vs a hulk is an easy way to get shots at its eye or to stop a bunch of zerkers, etc.

      Stun Grenades can be useful, but we roll impacts because they're just way more useful when we really need the help.
      Every single time I take the Stun Grenade, I always find myself wishing I had the impacts instead haha.

    I'd personally swap out the shield stratagem for the smoke grenade. Automatons aren't likely to be in your face (chainsaws excepted) so it's easy to throw one down on a terminal and get the objective done while their aim is collectively thrown off. This opens up your stratagem slot for something else like the orbital laser.

      Many objectives aren't just a terminal though, it's much better to clear out all enemies in my opinion and then do the objective than to rely on smokes which quite frankly have very inconsistent results. I've been targeted by automatons through the smoke multiple times and the results are extremely poor imo.
      If it works for you, go for it, but I can never get it to work and we've tried quite often on stream so I will definitely have to say, smoke is a no go for me and my crew

      @@RealAsianRobot Hey I get that. Smokes don't offer the same protection against firearms that the shield does because the bots can still shoot through it. The reason why I like it is because I can use it a lot faster than I can the stratagem - especially if the operation comes with the +100% call-down time modifier.

    I think that if you have a four man and the map is small enough for splitting up to be inefficient or you just aren't in the mood to deal with the extra spawns and everyone stays together then the team can comfortably take four very different loadouts as long as they all work together. I'd say alternate frontline to the arc thrower build is sickle for infinite chaf clear and then laser cannon to take out any flanked enemy heavies up close. I you have lasercannon and arc thrower up front, with an autocannon and a recoilless in back, you have everything covered. Recoilless is much worse that auto against large groups and is less ammo efficient, but the user of it can save it for hitting heavies that don't have their weakpoints exposed and otherwise use the JAR or PLAS for heavy damage at far ranges.

    Air Strike, 110m Pods vs Tanks, Orbital Laser, AC. Plas 1 Scorcher, Redeemer, Stun Nades, Light Armor Explo Resis is my setup for helldive, played with cover and wise you dont even lose your diver most of the time. WIth this loadouit there are no enemies you cant kill on the bot side. 110m take out tanks no need to flank. Stun nade and ac take out hulks. Destroyers die from well placed shots of your plas 1 or ac. You can kill fabricators, gun towers, mortars with air strikes or AC. Laser for oh shit or to clear the eye of sauron scanner/heavy bot outpost. Air strike to kill patrols after sniping the commissioner with plas 1. If you get a dropship you can shoot the stuff from below and throw an airstrike in, on 5 dropships and solo i recommend either run from cover to cover or using laser. The 110m can also kill a damaged hulk. To kill the tank the 110m should be near him or stick on him. Fabricators with jam tower next to is quasi easy save kill, since you can shoot the smokestack/chimney and destroy it with the ac. Small stuff, berserkers and striders will die from your plas 1 shots.

      Good choices for sure :). I like the Shield Gen with randoms because it saves lives, but I don't disagree with your choices. Need my full squad to be on one of these days to helldive again sadly haha

    3:34 G-16s can go through the vents, you just need skill. But if you're holding an autocannon, like this build is showing anyway, just plink the vents with it.

    I have an autocannon and an AMR build for Automatons. Love both weapons and I interchange them to keep things fresh. Some times I even rock a Recoiless Rifle or Laser Cannon just for the fun of it, I'm just not a fan of the Arc Thrower, I find it boring to use and aestetically it dosn't pleases me...I like shooting stuff with bullets.

    After playing tons of terminid missions, I started with the bots due to the new major orders and I can easily see why some people hate playing against them and some find them easier than bugs. The problem is pretty simple - bots are usually ultra heavily armored with a specific weak spot. What that means is that people with good eyesight and hand-eye coordination can clear hulks with basic Diligence while people who aren't crackheads with 1985 hours in COD (joke, don't at me) find anything past basic bots near unkillable when a walker can survive an EATIT with a bad hit. With constant bot reinforcements and somewhat bad sentry AI, playing bots is just a pain an impossible to clear until you get inevitably overrun. Call it a skill issue as much as you want, and part of it definitely is, but it's more an IRL stat issue that can't be helped. On the other hand, I have no clue how to make bots fun to play against without making them ridiculously easy for the shooter game veterans.

      Just use the loadouts intended for bots, i.e. the two in this video. All the problems disappear.
      The autocannon style is best without a squad and fairly safe to play.
      To me, it's just about adapting the tactics and knowing HOW to play against the bots

      It's our saving strat when speed running. You just throw it and it distracts the enemies for awhile so you can escape.
      It has a shorter cooldown than smoke too ;) and lasts longer

    Im the guy always running Auto Cannon in everything. I LOVE sniping bot factories off the vent and walk away like "I was never here" lol. I remember first trying out the automatons and people were under the impression that I was throwing for not having a shield on haha I swear people crutch that so hard. If youre one of those, take my advice and toss your shield out the window and put something more relevant on. Also, NEVER FORGET TO [----------------------------------------------------REDACTED----------------------------------------------------]!!!!!!!!!

    I use the diligence as my primary against bots. It’s top tier!
    Run it with scout armor and the ems mortar to stun large groups of enemies.
    Also note that the striders legs are only medium armor, one AC shot on the leg joints drops them every time.

    BTW, one reason the AMR sucks for so many people is that the scope is misaligned. I'd still take the Autocannon for this set-up, but it's worth noting.

      The scope is centred slightly down and to the right of the actual center of the screen, so if you put the upper left corner of the crosshair on the target you're aiming more accurately. @StandardAce and @ReapeeRon both have good videos about this issue and the weapon itself including this issue, respectively.

    Loving this strat. Personally an Arc thrower main but find lack of AC runners or just mainly quasars. If only I had support as an arcy, these automatons wouldn't stand a chance

      Usually if you don't have enough AC, it's better to run it. Arc Thrower is good, but AC is better

    I’ve been rocking Grenade Launcher and supply pack it takes out most automatons and is great for destroying those smaller outposts so you don’t have to waste your laser

    So i wanna say something i use for base clearing/ fodder clearing on autos that is really good. (Edit in this sentence)
    I stay dripped with Heavy Armour using dreadnaught, but anything with servo assisted is the goal, medium servo assisted works as well. Servo assisted is really good in general and means you can take engagements from further away creating more space between you and the clankers. Also 30% limb health is good and helps with keeping limbs up and avoiding chest hemmorages for bleeds. (edit to this sentence)
    gun i use is the Slugger since it staggers and has medium pen meaning its great for devastators, and hitting the head of the devastator will 1 shot them. Slugger also will 3-4 shot the beserker chainsaw enemies and will always 1 shot the small fodder autos. thee legs and underside of the Striders are medium so it helps bring them down as well although this will take 5 shots usually maybe more. I personally think the slugger is slept on.
    Secondary is choice sometimes i run smg sometimes base pistol its not a big of a deal its more just what works better to give you time and space to reload the slugger.
    nades are always going to be either stuns or impact nades, impacts can kill tanks and turret cannons in 2 nades and only 1 nade in the door or hatch to get rid of fabriactors.
    Stratagems i use are a bit weird but i personally like barrages (both of them if im running quasar, auto cannon, or just one since i love using supply backpack and either the new heavy MG or just the MG43) and airstrike since its a solid option.
    the whole idea of this playstyle is killing fodder enemies (if you take the MG options) for your team or taking out big bases (If you take auto cannon or even quasar) since barrages can be inaccrate but larger bases they can be effective, most the time taking out a lot of the enemies and even the whole base. These also destory optional objectives but are inconsistant sometimes. At extraction arround 1 minute left the barrages can be used to tear a side off the defense since throwing both is chaotic but will do a lot of damage.
    This id say can be seen as off meta but is most likely a niche option.

      Thanks for sharing, it's definitely an off-meta but some loadouts can work for certain individuals.
      Barrages are very inaccurate so I often find that in all my runs that I've tried them, I find them lackluster compared to eagles, especially since eagle realm is 120 seconds with multiple uses, while barrages are double 240 seconds :P.
      So yeah, it's definitely a preference, but the Barrages are just too long to be justified on higher difficulty missions (as the 50% cooldown increase modifier screws them over).

    I've been running the autocannon loadout and it really is ideal. I haven't tried it with the shield generator, so I'm excited to try that.

    I have run loadout close to these several times. My change to the Arc Kit is the Stun grenade allowing you to be closer in and being able to just get yourself some time to get those arc thrower shots out when getting swarmed.

    I would add a 3rd guy with 500, quasar cannon, mortar, and another shield gen.
    And a 4th guy with anti material or HMG, cluster bomb or eagle air, shield or gaurdog and a rocket sentry or ems mortar

    I have an idea to add...
    The guy shooting the Auto-Cannon should give his Auto-Cannon-Backpack to his buddy.
    And his buddy should give his Shield-Generator-Backpack to the guy shooting the Auto-Cannon so they can both be sheilded while he's reloading.

      Yeah no, team reloads sound cool in theory, suck ass in practice. Better that everyone carries their own shit and completes the mission efficiently.
      However, if you wanna roll it for the memes, have fun lol. You can do some funky shit like that theoretically. You can also drop the backpacks in the field to carry it out, so go nuts if you're with friends.

    Great team strategy video, I love the tactical concepts discussed here. The only thing I would like to add is regarding the railgun. I think the problem with the railgun is the skill ceiling, which these builds in this video eliminate. However, if you are that guy who can 95% charge the railgun on unsafe mode and be accurate, then it probably does better than the autocannon build and can fill that sniper/support role. This is obviously very challenging and requires lots of focus and practice. Great video!

    One very important note on armor, especially pertaining to your arc thrower load out convo.
    It’s not important on choosing exterminator or hero of the federation - the difference to pay attention to is the passive armor buff you get with each and they are MASSIVELY different.
    Fortified buff:
    The exterminator has 50% resistance to explosive damage - that’s huge for taking random rockets to the face from rocket devastators. Most random damage you’re gonna take is going to be explosive rockets, tank shots or turret tower shots. This armor is the difference between this being a one shot or a potential critical hit that you can stim past and move on.
    Democracy protects:
    This is 50% CHANCE to survive lethal damage - this is any critical shot that would otherwise kill you, not just explosions, but also headshots. Unlike the 50% resistance on the fortified armor, the 50% chance on this armor is a literal dice roll.
    There are both light and heavy armors that have these passive buffs as well. You don’t have to use a medium armor to have either of these buffs.
    Additional buffs to pay attention to: scout for lowered detection by bots, and medic for increased stim carry and 2s addition for stim buffer when used.
    The best armor for bots in my opinion is light armor with fortified buff for 50% resistance to explosions but retaining speed and stamina regen.

      Thanks for this comment. Its well thought out and the information is correct.
      The only thing I have to say is that I never recommend light armors for automatons because speed isn't an issue with them. Survival is. Light armor takes quite a bit more damage than medium armor does so even with 50% explosion resistance, one shots happen a lot more with light armor than they do with medium armor.
      Which is why my recommendation is always medium armor irrespective of the perk you pick.

      I am not hugely experienced but find that stealth is the most useful if I am playing solo, if my friends all take a stealthy armour and play the stealth game, or if I intend to strike out on my own in a team game (which I know has its own whole heat generation meta but lets leave that aside for now)
      If you take stealth armour in anything except the above scenarios then other players around you tend to negate any of the benefits of stealth as they will draw in bots or bugs alike from the normal detection ranges regardless of how stealthy you are, so better to take an armour with a buff that won't be negated in those situations (which is most of the time I play)

    I prefer the slugger shotgun for everything. The Slugger staggers enemies and does great damage at range. I can take out deveststors with headshots at medium range pretty consistently.

      Also, if you don't have any of the additional warbonds and are still trying to unlock the Scorcher, what gun would you choose? Slugger, Diligence, another? Mainly for the AutoCannon loadout.

      Another good choice is the defender smg. It does what the sickle does, but requires ammo. That said, you move faster while carrying it

    I like the Slugger a lot Vs bots. You can hit heads from a decent range and it can 1 top devestators to the head. But overall these builds seem pretty solid. Going to give the shield generator a go tonight.

    Eh the arc thrower doesnt really get the job done. We run a machine gun, auto cannon, recoilless and then sometimes a grenade launcher. Bringing that setup on 7+ works out everytime with no issues. Autocannon recoiless for the big targets and the grenade launcher and machine gun for when you have a horde upon you you

    For the Arc build, I suggest bringing the Punisher as your Primary weapon, exclusively to deal with Berserkers, the only annoying bot when ARCing around.

      You can deal with them using the sickle, they're easy enough to shoot in the head. I do not recommend the Punisher because you need them to be fairly close for max effect the Punisher compared to the Slugger has low armor pen.
      Sickle will handle berserkers just fine and is useful for other mobs as well at a distance ;)

    If you are using the exterminator armor I would suggest the defender. It's laser accurate with the recoil reduction. Stun grenades if you plan on airstriking bases can be useful for hulks. EMS strike for the arc thrower can also be a helpful mortar or strike.

      Sickle does everything the defender does but with unlimited ammo and range (and 0 recoil).
      Stun grenades are good, but generally bad when you really need something destroyed. So use at your own discretion.
      EMS strike is okay for sure though, I just can't give up laser for the big bases. Makes speed running faster but I love EMS strike for sure. If someone else brought all the base killers, it would definitely be a pick from me

      @@RealAsianRobotTo better defend the Defender, I should have mentioned that accuracy of the defender is what I was prioritizing. Take a sickle into a low level mission and fire 3-5 round bursts into the air, and draw a circle around the scope where the rounds go. Then do so with the defender. The defender will have a way smaller circle, which means a defender will take about 3 shots to snipe the head of a Dev for example where you might need 2-3 bursts of fire to take one with a sickle. I feel ammo isn't that hard to come by, so it's worth it in my opinion. The defender can easily hit targets out to 100m so I don't feel like that is a negative to it, but fair if that is something I just didn't really notice/test.

    I always use the Arc Thrower loadout. But instead of Eagle Strike, I use Mortar sentry. The sentry assists during extraction.

      Mortar is usually a team fragger. To each their own, but I would never bring one along. It's usually going to murder your team if the bots get anywhere even remotely close to you and this can break some extractions.
      I absolutely do not recommend it. Use it if you really want to, but you may get kicked from some games or players will straight up shoot the mortar if it's a bother.

      I agree. I do my best to advise the team when its dropped, they usually steer clear. When you head to extraction drop the mortar in the middle of the extraction zone or against a solid wall in the area. While the Bots come in, the Mortar is a nice calculation to see where the bots are coming. This sentry comes in handy so many times during my missions. Its the ultimate clutch when extraction gets overrun. Saved me many times. Its also good to use it while attacking small outposts... Set the Mortar from a distance, let it clean out as you swing around from the other side.. See you out there Helldiver. @@RealAsianRobot

      I think the mortar is more of a no go against bugs since they want to get into melee range and that means the mortar is raining down on you. Bots are more range so it’s a bit safer there. Plus it can be used at bases or objectives to draw out the enemy from the area. I don’t use it much myself but it sucks when someone brings out out on bug missions

      Your absolutely right. "NEVER Bugs" - But still, I use the Arc Thrower on Bugs as well. I change up to a Railgun or Rocket sentry. My main gun is the Slugger. During a bug mission, if a Titan pops up I throw the rocket sentry for assistance and run underneath the Titan to blast the stomach and throat. Its suicide running underneath those things, but feels so accomplished if you survive. The Arc is also good to pull the Titan away from your team. Learn to use yourself as bait. @@cannibalraptor

    I like Anti Material Rifle + Jump-Pack, Sickle primary, Airstrikes and Turrets. The AMR can one shot any normie, two shot a Hulk if you have the skill, and the Jump-Pack can get you on rocks where the enemy can't path to you and you can cover your team from patrols when they go into an outpost.

    2 Questions,
    1. is the napalm strike equivalent to airstrike? Fire seems not effective against bots but lets not assume, what if they do the same dmg? I might save the extra 4k for thar airstrike and keep using napalm for the same effect..(?
    2. Which sentry is better for bots, autocannon or rocket? Rocket is more expensive so I assume dmg is higher at the cost of rate of fire since it's suuuper slow which sucks.. again I wish we had more than assumptions as to which is better statistically :)

      Napalm is not equivalent and sucks against bots. 4000 requisition is earned in roughly one mission so don't skip out on eagle airstrike.
      Fire DOES NOT work on bots (currently) and napalm cannot destroy fabricators etc.
      As for the sentry, autocannon is better but this video is old my dude.
      There is an updated video on my channel showing all the new automaton loadouts. Usually the loadouts are updated after major patches and changes.

    Very interesting. The only armors I generally run are Drone Master and Exterminator. I tended to lean towards FS-34 for bots with the AMR, but I'll try your autocannon loadout.

      For me the autocannon beats the AMR in terms of overall utility. I want to try out the AMR under more relaxed circumstances one of these days though.

    For bots I am really getting into the diligence for my primary. It can take out a lot of bots at a distance, and anything it can't kill, you have your AC or your stratagems for.
    I also REALLY like the light scout armor. I find I can sneak around during battles and take out key targets and bots in the open safely.

    Less not forget for the moment the mid armor with the 30% reduction to be noticed by the enemy is broken (Mix with the localization confusion). Right now its more like its working at 90% especially if your whole team runs the armor.

      Adjust according to team needs.
      In general the boosters are: Hellpod Space Optimization, Vitality, Stamina and Localization Confusion.
      This is usually enough to solidify any run

      It's used on Eradicate Missions, not really anywhere else tbh as it can harm your team if you need to reposition when surrounded, running into the cloud is a death sentence. Great if engaging from an advantageous position though!

    I tried to mix it up and have a discussion with the team of randos before popping in the game. Hopefully no one in here would kick a helldiver because they didn't follow the "META BUILD" or some shit like that. I played in helldive difficulty in automatons when I was just level 15 with only 3 of us and I had a shitty load out but 2 of my level 50 peeps never complained and carried me. now joining their ranks, I also help the new helldivers because I don't want to gate keep them from the game and fun especially in High difficulty where the fun really lies.

    Been running servo assisted with orbital laser,auto cannon, 500, and tesla tower the added throw distance allows for the lethality of the tower to shine without self sacrifice also comes in handy if you get a tail of unwanted bots

      Servo assisted is great with the 380 barrage, throwing it into the middle of a base or objective has been completely clearing or 80% clearing since the buff it received. Without servo it is a bit hard to get it far enough away from yourself

      Yeah meta stands for most effective tactic(s) available.
      So I use it to denote the most efficient loadout I have that can complete the most objectives for my current needs.it may not necessarily work for everyone or be the outright "best" in every situation, but it's usually what allows me to speedrun the mission effectively while still doing most/all objectives within the necessary time frame.

    Sick load out ideas but watching it right now for the first time idk if it would be effective on helldiver mode with the new huge walking bots now it was ridiculous lol. Kinda need big armor killing support and drops and even then it’s still crazy idk how to win it 🤣 I was beating them a week ago but the drop rate of the walker thing is a bit over tuned rn 💀

      We have switched to more offensive stratagems paired with the eruptor for fast clearing of trash bots.
      You can also review the streams to see us using the new loadouts.
      Granted we are currently playing 7s till everyone is geared with the new upgrades.

    id suggest eagle rocket pods as another alternative to basic airstrike and 500kg, it still oneshots fabricators/tanks/hulks and most importantly turret towers, where the other options arent very reliable, the drawback being its single target

    I wonder if the fs38 eradicator would be even better for arc throwing. Since you have better mobility and also the fortified passive.

      For arc thrower the fortified passive doesn't do much as recoil doesn't affect the arc thrower, but the explosive resistance can help

      @@RealAsianRobot Yeah, I was speaking specifically about the explosive deaths. 9/10 times I died today was from a rocket raider or devastator. I could be behind a giant ass rock and still get blown up.

      @9unslin9er sad thing is that one spicy rocket can still blow you up. I run exterminator and can still get one shotted 🤣🤣🤣 but it does help somewhat I admit.

    Medic armor is better than the shield for the most part. 4 seconds of healing 6x negates chip damage. Worst case you have 24! seconds of constant healing

      Well, the shield is just too useful imo, but if you prefer medic armor. GO FOR IT :D

    To be honest with ya i dont see a point of the energy shields fanbase, it doesnt provide democracy like a rover drone or the supply pack , heck even the jet pack is nice for raining liberty from above(also hoppin over chargers like a spanish bull hehe)

      Energy shield doesn't seem useful until you do 8 and 9.
      It's veeeery good for hot drops (when you drop directly onto the enemies) and it's also very good as a distraction.
      It's no different from eagle smoke cover and it always serves as useful utility.
      Once you start using it, you will love it.

    I have a similar build to the arc thrower (I don't use arc thrower, hate how it feels/its pretty boring to me, idk why), and I have completely abandoned Eagle Airstrike in favor of 110 rockets pods. Once you know your throwing range, its S-tier against automatons. The most slept on stratagem in game, IMO. Guaranteed tank. tower kills, and fabricators too. Also, I get itchy without my Orbital Rail Cannon. Hulk Bruisers and Scorchers 100% are the most deadly automatons. The highest prio targets on that side of the galaxy, the faster they can be dealt with, the better. Tanks can be kited quite easily, and consistently.

      I realized you don't need the rail cannon strike because auto Cannon kills hulks.
      110m rocket pods are great, but I find that I don't need them much. An eagle will kill a tank and a cannon tower is generally not a problem. If I'm close enough to slap it with am eagle pod, I can already take it out the normal way.
      That said, I do like the rocket pods (if ) I have the space for them, but in general I tend to just take what I need and roll with that

      ​@@RealAsianRobot Yeah I totally agree, I literally just found out that the auto cannon can take out Hulks, I didn't think it could! I still like the ORC because its the ultimate "nope, you are not" in the game lolol
      that auto cannon build is actually incredible though man. I would have never thought to take the shield generator with A.C., the fact that it's duration based now, is actually soooo much better. It used to pop so early before. Auto cannon build is top notch.

    Ngl Ive been using my own version of the first loadout without seeing this one and im def gonna replace the EATS with a railcannon. One Minor change that I would make to the first loadout however is the use of stun grenades over impact grenades. You really dont need explosive grenades like that with an air strike and rail cannon and the amount of times stun grnades with engineer armor has cluthed me being able to hold a choke point or hold a corner while giving free headshots is insane.

      Stun grenades are definitely good, I just end up wishing I had impacts every time I roll a stun, but it's definitely an option to try!

    Arc thrower and auto cannon are my fav support guns. I always go with scout armor and the stamina boost because I like to run-and-gun, throw stratagems, run, kill the ones that remained, run again. It's fun to do that with the arc thrower to just go throwing shit everywhere, destroying the bot fabricators and not having them chase me. Sometimes I use the jet to climb on some objectives easier, like the disruptors. I usually use the slugger or the scorcher, but mainly the slugger. The accuracy is great and I don't accidentally kms if I aim it near me lol

      Problem with this strategy is that the bots are still alive and may call in drops. So we prefer loadouts that FULL CLEAR everything, hence why we do not advocate run and gun strats, rather it's a total wipeout on each area of interest to prevent any mishaps.

    Personally I would run with LMG and Punisher with slug rounds. Its the best when dealing with devistators that way the guy with the autocanon can deal with a clean shot.

      LMG requires supply pack though, so you can't take shield, but if it works for you, go for it :). You also have a new HMG to play with

    Hey, about Engineering passive - 1 dude testet it and results are that: passive works like this - when u stand u get reduce recoil like u would were crouching without passive and when crouching u get reduce recoil like u would be in prone without this passive. If u would like i can link all armor passive testing.

      Yup, but if you don't know how to aim it, it is unreliable. It's more consistent as well to just autocannon the flap and blow it up that way.

It would be cool to see a series where you try different team loadouts that are just varied and different, but still viable on the highest difficulties. It would be fun to see the explanation and then an example of the loadouts in action. For example, an arc damage focused team or a fire focused team. I think it would be a fun series where people could be inspired to try different things with friends just for fun.

      Up to you lol, Quasar is good as a support, never a main. 1 shot every 10 seconds is too slow

      Quasar can’t clear a group of devastators like an auto cannon can. AMR is great against them as well but can’t destroy fabricators like the auto cannon, but it doesn’t use a backpack slot either

    You are no robot, but possibly asian. I will add that the armor with 50% explosion damage reduction puts you below the breakpoint for being one shot by many automaton attacks.

      Charging time is too slow imo, plus it's added risk for no value since the AP is the same even in unsafe mode with no explosive damage to compensate. It CAN one shot a Hulk, but it can't open up a heavy devastator's shield. So there are a multitude of pros and cons.
      Use it if you feel like you can achieve a decent win rate, but so far every single railgun player has the worst stats in each game right now.

    Yes the AMR needs more aiming skill, but you're writing it off too casually vs autocannon. Having a backpack slot is huge, esp for supply pack for 8 extra nades and stims (or more, if you're running nade/stim armour). And if you can't aim it... stun grenade makes aiming super easy.

      If you like it sure, but the more I see it, the more ass it is compared to the almighty autocannon.
      Being able to do objectives with the Autocannon is huge on bots and while I don't have a backpack slot, I have an extra stratagem slot which I feel is far lore valuable when restricted.
      The AMR is okay, but because it's sights are off, it doesn't really do what it is supposed to do, unfortunately. If they fix the sights and how it hits, I will happily reassess it.

      For me the misaligned sights is only a problem when trying to snipe the head of a hulk, it’s still a 2 shot on devastator or 1 shot if you hit the head. It has quite good ammo surplus so a supply backpack isn’t needed and you can have a shield backpack instead. I usually run no backpack and just use an extra stratagem to take out tanks or hulks.

      Not good for frontlining, but great as a supporter! I love a good Quasar, but for frontlining, I'd rather an HMG or LMG player to replace if they don't want to use Arc Thrower

      Hulks will pretty much annihilate you unless everyone is on point.
      It can work but requires a very switched on team with a solid ability to dodge rockets as a quartet.
      This strat honestly works way better against nids than bots. Spicy rockets tend to end this formation easily without a sniper

    People do not give the grenade launcher credit. Will wipe out whole drops like nothing. Only issue is with hulks.

      exactly, the issue is with Hulks, GL is pretty much just a support weapon, whereas AC is a proper main weapon against the Automatons.
      GL is okay, but suitable for the 3rd or 4th guy in the team, not the main.

    Sounds nice, but If you run this setup. The entire map could be soloed
    • Auto Cannon
    • Eagle Airstrike
    • Orbital Laser
    • Mortar Sentry
    500 KG is interchangeable with the Mortar Sentry If you're speed running Hell Dive for Outstanding Patriotism. But basically, this all boils down to optimization. I truly believe the real meta is everyone running the same loadout, not relying on each other to fulfill different roles.

      Unfortunately it's too slow compared to the Autocannon in terms of kill time. Having tested both, the Autocannon hugely outperforms.
      The laser cannon is decent, but the Autocannon just shreds so hard in comparison haha.

      No I've used it, it's very good and mentioned in the vid too in case you missed it. It's used more with the Arc than with the Autocannon.
      The scorcher is something we use frequently ;) however only when appropriate
