- A nice surprise visitor to Edinburgh Airport was this Royal Air Force A400 ZM415 ''Comet451'' on a training flight from RAF Brise Norton on the 15th of April 2024.

Absolutely right mate. The crew specifically requested Tower if they could do a touch & go but sadly were denied.

Excellent Jonathan. Love the A400 Atlas👌 We had a German Air Force A400 in at PIK last week but unfortunately I missed out on some nice pics. There’s always lots of RAF A400 activity around PIK but sadly they rarely land. Thanks for sharing this one👍🏻
Thanks Ken. Same here, it is such an amazing aircraft. One of the best times I ever saw one was at Dundee Airport a few years ago for a quick visit. Same here at NCL they often do some circuits then head back to Brize. Cheers mate 🙏😊✈️

With all the potholes recently, why risk a burst tyre. Happened yesterday to a Beech aircraft resulting in a 30 minute hold and diversions to GLA 🫤
Haha very true. The crew did request it but were promptly put down by tower.
