-------------------------------------------------------------------------The man at the video was the one who first heard the puppy crying really loud. He searched for help and found us. The place was very difficult for anyone to walk there. No one can tell how the puppy end up inside there.
We gave him the name Digger, is about 2,5 months old.

Hello, I am Ermioni, and together with Katerina and Fotini, I founded the Diasozo Animal Rescue in Karditsa, Greece. We are rescuing animals that are found abandoned, abused, mistreated and starving, and we are trying to offer them a better life. We are volunteers, and our only resources are donations. We depend on all of you, to help us offer our rescues the life they deserve, so we are grateful for any donation.

There is something about this woman and her videos.
There are many other rescue videos, but her approach and the positivity she gives amazes me.
Seeing her smile and play with the dogs tells me she and her friends try to give these dogs the best they can and I love it.
Keep up the great work and positivity, you are an amazing woman and I really wish you all the best.
Plus she takes care of her family as well. She's a real life super hero, but I know, she will never see herself that way. She is doing what her heart, soul and spirit is telling her to do, some say is a calling in life and I agree, this isn't for everyone. I was a nurse that got hurt many years ago, now I help my local shelter rescue animals and I love it as much as I loved nursing, I think it's a calling. She is a lovely woman indeed!❤

Even though a shelter is no place for a puppy (or any animal) to start its life, it is far better to be with you than where he originally started. He is beautiful and you will find him the best home possible. Stay safe.

He is adorable, I rotate my donations, because I do donate to 2 Greek shelters and one in Brazil & 2 in my local area in Pittsburgh USA, so I must rotate. Your on my list for next month sweety. I think the puppy you saved is a boy, I couldn't really tell lol but he or she is now safe, will never know hunger, lack of water, shelter or feel all alone again, it already knows its being loved. So yeah shelters aren't the perfect place to start life, but in YOUR shelter it really is a wonderful place to start it's life journey. You always find awesome people to adopt as well, your good at that as well.

I agree someone put him there.No way that puppy got there by himself. What a beautiful German Shepherd. He would of died a slow horrific death. Thank you for saving rescuing this beautiful Shephard. You need to bring water food with you when you go to save these beautiful precious dogs. They are going to be very dehydrated and very hungry.
@Anne Phair I watch many rescue channels on RUclips. That's the first thing most of these Rescue organizations do when they go out to rescue save these dehydrated starving neglected animals. Of course that's great they take them to the Vet. But please feed and water these animals like the rest of these Rescue groups do. It's the humane thing to do. You're a lifeline. A first Responder!
@Nettie Reynolds They don't need to bring food? Wow unbelievable. Puppy at the bottom of a ditch a hole. Where in this rescue even the one rescuing this puppy needed help herself to get this puppy out of this hole. And you don't think this puppy was hungry. No water or food. We're you there. No you weren't. In USA rescue organizations are more humane in their rescue of abandoned animals. In this case very suspect that this poor puppy wasn't just put there in the first place. Smh

Someone could have purposely left him. Most people who do those kind of things would go to the places where the abandoned animal cannot be found or seen.I am more than glad that he is with you.
