Hi Kathleen! You are right about the weather this fall, all sunshine and blue skies. The barn sale in Dorset looked like it was fabulous! I try to find things to regift to my daughters when there are such lovely items!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. I love your fall touches and could just envision myself on your sofa reading a book with the autumn sun peaking in. Lovely!❤😊
I am a big Diane Keeton fan and you remind me so much of her..Her fashion design is fabulous. Your scarf is so like her. I too love scarves. Love your channel.
Thanks, Kathleen....I love to go thrifting with you and your sisters!!! You find the nicest items ! I think those silver poinsettia candle holders will just "sparkle " on your tablescape! Great haul!! Happy Fall!!!❤😊
Hi its good to see you. Love the trees when the leaves are falling and the beautiful colours. What great finds. Love the way you have decorated for fall. We don't do it so much 8n the UK. Soup looks delicious. Thanks for sharing . Will catch you next time. Sending lots of love xx 😊😊
Thank you for sharing your home all decorated for fall. It looks beautiful. I love how you decorated your front porch with the plants and pumpkins. So pretty. The two sales you went to look like such fun and you found some great treasures. Thank you for the soup recipe. Looks and sounds delicious!
You and your sisters’ posts provide a sense of calmness in the midst of what seems to be a very chaotic time. So many lovely finds! I am trying to imagine Vermont in the fall. (I am in Central Virginia.) I am sure that you and your readers know that if the berries on picks are split and show the white underneath, red fingernail polish works wonders. Happy Fall, y’all!
You did give me a couple of ideas for bringing to Fall to my candle sconces with a mini wreath underneath the candle . I’ll be thrifting to find one or 2. Loved this video.
Wow...love this! I live in Southern VT and you have captured the vibes of fall...son't forget Vintage Market Days at the VT Faire Grounds in Rutland-10/11-10/13, Cider Days in Belmont....subscribing now!!!
Hi Kathleen! Love your aesthetic in your home. It is perfect for the style of your house and where you live. I was so excited to try your soup recipe (I love lentils) I did it even though I was missing some ingredients. I didn't have fresh ginger so I used ground, I didn't have red lentils so I used brown, and I didn't have coconut milk so I just skipped it. Also I don't like the taste of turmeric so I skipped that also. But it turned out delicious anyway! So I guess it wasn't really your recipe in the end, but rather inspired by your recipe. Thanks for tthe suggestion! ❤
As you were sharing your finds, Kathleen, I was thinking “Oh, that’s my favorite.” And then you’d share something else and I would think, “No, that’s my favorite.” I settled on the wrought iron pumpkin, in the end. And the soup looks delicious! The recipe you shared is a different soup but I’m going to make it anyway because I have all the ingredients. I’ve not used pomegranate molasses in a soup so I’m looking forward to tasting it. Thanks for sharing! 🍂🍁🎃
Those candlestick holders are definitely poinsettias, but if you told me that they were autumn oak leaves I would agree with you! I prefer gold/brass for autumn, but with some orange or cream candlesticks they could find a happy home on an autumn table or sideboard. 🍂
Lovely! How on earth do you manage navigating around the sale with all those big items….I find it all so hard….can’t pull a cart in those ….do you run back and forth the car??
Gosh. I just head on up to P-Chop and maybe get a pumpkin two and hope the kids don’t’ smash ‘em and try not to slip on the acorns again. Yeah, got a patchwork of skunk holes across the lawn so I put pine cones in ‘em. Don’t have any fake greenery, but there’s lots of old cuttings in the burn pile! Picks? Well, we have ticks. . .
That soup looks amazing, however the link you provided is for a different but related recipe, a Syrian lentil soup. Could you share Kathleen's? Thank you, love your channel.
Just a suggestion 😊 when you're making a recipe you need to focus more on your hands cutting up the food than your face. We can hear you, so we don't need to see you talking. If you can focus on both your face and your hands at the same time, that would make a winner video! The second part of you putting the ingredients in the pot and blending was much more interesting.
There’s not much prettier than fall in Vermont! 🍁. Kathleen share a great fall inspired thrift haul and her beautiful home decorated for fall!
West Virginia all those mountains and hills. Are beautiful in the fall.
New Hampshire gives Vermont a run for it's money!😂😂

Her recipe is from a book entitled soups from Syria. I thought that was the exact recipe, let me check on that .
❤Holly leaf?
That’s a possibility!
I love your fall decor. You have a knack for knowing when it’s just right. The soup looks delicious. Can you post the recipe on your website? Thanks
We added the link for the soup in the description box. But adding it to the website is a great idea!!
@@relativelyrefined thank you! I am looking forward to making it.
