    I’ve read that it’s ok to clean the gasket once a month, is that fine ? Because cleaning it daily will wear out the band (and it only becomes dirty after about a month)

      Old comment, but probably.
      I do it every few washes... I haven't noticed that they get stretched out or anything either, but daily is definitely much more aggressive than required.

      I don't bother with the top one because it doesn't contact the beverage / drinking surface.
