  • Learn how to crochet an amigurumi Easter egg in my first ever video tutorial!! Also learn how to add pretty embroidered flowers (the time stamp for the embroidery is 18.25).
    Things you'll need:
    -Approx 20 grams aran weight yarn. I used Simply Paintbox Yarns in Duck Egg Blue. For the embroidered detail I used Bubblegum pink, Spearmint green and mustard. (The smaller egg was made wiht Stylecraft Special Double knit.)
    -Polyfibre fill stuffing.
    -Needle and scissors.
    The free pattern for these is on my blog:
    zeensandroger....

    I have been trying to learn the magic loop for 10 years!!! I watched every tutorial and I still could never get it and gave up. How did you just teach me in 30 seconds?! So much wasted time 😂

      @meeemeee8577 5 месяцев назад

      Ok but that is riddiculous. Yeah a magic ring can be very tricky in the beginning, but even with the worst explanation you should be able to get it in a reasonable amount of time.

    Thanks for the wonderful tutorial! Your instructions are really easy to follow and the video makes it super clear. I dropped what I was working on and made an egg last night. I don't think I used quite the right weight yarn and hook but for an amigurumi newbie, it still looks pretty good. I'll be all ready when next Easter comes! I hope to watch your little purse video soon as I have one all crocheted but I haven't lined it or put in the zipper yet.

    • @zeensandroger3015
      @zeensandroger3015  7 лет назад

      You're welcome! Thanks for watching, I so glad you liked the video.
      If in doubt, go down a couple of hook sizes rather than use the recommended hook size for the yarn. That should do the trick!
      Hope you enjoy the little purse tutorial. :)

      I'm sure boys like flowers too, don't they? Or bunnies and chicks to continue the Easter theme. Stitch some cracks on for a simpler version. Let me know if you come up with a new idea! Cheers. :D

    I have never made an egg before. How would I make a larger egg? I want to make a Humpty Dumpty doll for my granddaughter for Easter. Do I just increase with each roll. Thanks for your time

    • @zeensandroger3015
      @zeensandroger3015  7 лет назад +1

      Hi June. You could use a chunky yarn to get a bigger size. Or you'd need to make some extra increases. After round 8, repeat maybe 3 rounds of 30 st and then go up to 36 stitches for the main body of it (going round at 36st 9 times). Essentially, that would be changing the pattern but with a little play around, it can be done. I haven't tested that increase so don't know what it's like but hopefully it gives you an idea. Thanks.
