when I made my beak I made a triangle then filled it in.. much easier

This looks so cute and easy but I keep getting lost, how do you keep track of where you started? Am hoping that it will become more obvious the more I crochet (only started a week ago)
stich markers are really helpful for me. a paperclip or a safetypin works, if you don't have real stitch markers. hope this helps.

You could use two strands of yarn with a bigger hook, or just bigger yarn with a bigger hook. :)
What is "DK" yarn. What size is the hook in US terms? Love your video, the bunny is so cute! Can't wait to get started.
june everman DK is equivalent to Light Worsted weight yarn (yarn weight of 3) This video for the egg and chick uses a 2.5mm crochet hook, C/2 or a B/1 would be the nearest equivalents in US terms. I hope that helps!
