I love someone like this. It has left me bruised and broken. Wishing to never have felt it in the first place. Whoever said it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all... was full of crap and obviously never felt such true devotion for another person. Hardly any mainstream and chart topping artists have half the talent this man has.
They never will. They write for the masses. They write to appeal to the biggest audiences. I have followed the unique and interesting all my life.
My friends know Rolling Stones. I know Leon Redbone.
I couldn’t agree more. There’s a few I truly have adored for a while and they’re genuinely amazing and great at what they do, all the respect for them still!! But Chester is indeed one of a kind and terribly underrated and unknown amongst the general populace!!!! Not only are his songwriting skills from another world, his vocals are also something I’ve never heard any singer, big or small, ever quite have. He’s literally touched by God and I’m not even religious!! 🙌🏼 😮💨

This song hits home for me. I'm in love with someone who does love me, at least it feels that way when we're together. As in every love story there's heartbreak; He can't walk away from his on and off girlfriend that treats him horrible. Him and I were friends for 10 years and about 5 years ago he told me how much he loved me, but never tried until a year ago. He still remembers our first kiss 5 yrs ago. Anyway he just told me that he can't hurt me anymore and is going to work things out with his girlfriend. He's not that horrible cheating guy on Jerry Springer He just was never truly loved and hasn't had many relationships.
We're always drawn back to each other and he says he will always love me. I want to believe that this is how he feels inside.
