    I wish the manual clarified the levels of intervention with the DTC between the different modes. It would make sense, if -7 in Sport, was a theoretical "+8" in Race.(if that didn't make sense, in this scenario the +7 in Race would be a theoretical "-8" in Sport) But it would be tough to know that for sure, sense it doesn't specify in the manual.

    hey, thank you for this very informative video, but i'm now a bit confused. So in USER mode, if you can set the DTC intervention for example in SPORT, what sense make the -7 to +7, when you already choose an intervention level in USER mode?

    I just brought this bike and are wondering how fast you have to go to feel the different levels..I know you can feel the difference between sport and rain but over sport mode you'd need to be on it to feel changes I take it ..be interesting to see if I can feel these changes rideing only on the street NOT the track.

    Thank you, the best I have seen so far on explaining the settings. I have a 2017 s1000RR and am currently riding on Race mode. I will be trying the User mode this year as I want to increase the ability to produce longer and higher wheelies. please can you advise if I set up the user mode keeping all settings as per factory except DTC which I assume if I adjust between 0 to -7 this will increase the lift of the front wheel ? or is there an easier way of controlling anti wheelie in Race mode without using User mode??

      hey mate i recently got a 16 s1000rr can you confirm this? what is a good starting point with controlled wheelie? DTC setting? etc

    I normally just put it on racemode then keep the abs button pressed to turn the traction off so it wheelies. Is there a user setting that would work better?

    Do you know if you can adjust temperature at which the cooling fan comes on? Many people say that the fan is set to come on only after coolant temp reaches +200 degrees, which makes the frame/seat feel too hot in traffic.

      problemsolved brentuning has a stage 2 flash that gets it to turn on at 185degrees. I just got my bike tuned recently by them... highly recommend it.

      This is what I want to know for my 2016 model if there is a setting to allow it to only come up medium high and not any further if that makes sense. Been told it can be done

      Have the bike inspected. have it ran for codes, compression & leak down test. check the gear box and clutch are in order. this is only my opinion. I'm not an expert tech. good luck!

    Your flow chart is incorrect. You can NOT adjust traction control in the sport mode. Race and Slick modes ONLY !!!!!

    • @Moreflying1
      @Moreflying1  7 лет назад

      lou30088 : Did you read the title of the video? This is for USER mode only, not sport mode.
      Forgot to say...the flow chart is correct and btw, you cannot adjust traction control on the fly in race as you mentioned..only in slick and user.

      Push and hold the ABS button down. When the ABS light comes on, it is disabled.
