at around 3minutes the push down os the rear of bike was mush more aggressive than the same after adding rebound probably why not topping out and shaking the bike

It's really based off sag. You need to take measurements to see if soft or hard is the answer. I thought softer at first, but that made the bike ride way worse. The rear end would kick me up on deceleration going + slowed the rebound down and fixed that one issue.

no, the same settings apply from '15 up until '18
