    Did this guy really just compare a burning filament with an led??
    Ofc the filament will scorch through the styrofoam, even a high school kid will know that....😂😂
    They each have their own uses, but good ol halogens will always be ones you can rely on... especially in vehicles...

      Halogen is 1000lumen led is 3400lumen in heavy rain its nice to have some extra light especialy in an old reflector headlight which are not that good anyway

    • @endurofan9854
      @endurofan9854 3 месяца назад

      may LED have that high. lumen but the it can never defeat the cold ambient temperature in which the halogen can easily dissentegrate,
      for hot places LEDs are best, but for winters you gonna need hotter heads to avoid moisture and ice build up on your headlight

    • @shanedude91
      @shanedude91 3 месяца назад

      @@DiyNukeyes but having a cool bulb is not so good for areas that get snow and ice. With halogens the snow melts as soon as it touches the headlight. With LEDs the snow will build up and eventually block the light. LED bulbs are great if you don't need to worry about snow.
