Hey i am considering going with the rock crawler. 2.5 inch Xfactor lift. with all the controll arms and track bars being adjustable i should only have to upgrade springs and shocks if i went to a 3.5 or 4 inch lift correct?
I have the Tera Flex 2.5 inch lift running 33s 285/70/17s. Love the set up. Very minimal power loss, still can use 6 gear. I have a 6 speed manual. Gas milage was not affected much at all.
I read where you can add another 1/2 inch on the 2.5 lift. Supposedly adds just a bit more room for the larger tire. I am thinking I am going to with a 35 inch tire. Thoughts??
i just bought the rock krawler max flex lift with the performance series shocks plus the front upper control arms an rear adjustable track bar. have it scheduled to be installed next week.
I have a 2016 jk and I want to get the teraflex 2.5 suspension lift kit w/o shocks and add the fox shocks but my jk is a right hand drive… will it fit?
What's the best lift if you could only picked one I know you showed 3 all im going to use it for is running to Walmart I just like the way the lifts look on the Jeeps and the biggest tire I want to put is a 33
I have the pro comp 2.5 in lift and running 35 inch tires and so far no problems and tires do not rub but I am no rock crawler so I have not flexed out to max yet, lift is ok but wish I would of just saved some more money and just bought a prem. lift
A friend of mine just bought a used 2014 JK with the exact set up you are talking about, it is truly a very nice kit, I am going looking to add the same kit to my JKU this year. saving up for it. He has the 3.5" Game Changer Kit on his, I don't plan on running 35" tires, so I am looking at the 2.5" I have contacted them and they said the only difference between the 2.5 and the 3.5 is the springs, so he said if I do change my mind later and want the 3.5" lift, all I will need to change out is the springs. So to me that is a huge perk. I don't claim to be a Jeep guru, but since you asked about the kit and no-one has replied, I figure I would since I have seen it first hand and have had a chance to drive his new jeep his just purchased, I think it is a super nice kit, so much so, I am wanting the same one for my jeep. Let us know what you end up getting for you jeep. The only thing I wish, is that Extreme terrain would carry this lift and their products, I love extreme terrain and plan on using them for most of my upgrades.
How do I order these lift kit, I have a 2017/75 anniversary. Is this a JK? Or JL? There's parts from the Rubicon, Sierra, and sport in this 75th edition.
hey Ryan i bought a used Jeep so how can i tell if i have a 2.5 lift i have 33' wrangler duratracs? the tires make alot of noise almost sounds like somethings not right.
You'd want to take a look at some longer sway bar end links to accommodate the added height and to make sure the sway bar is sitting level when on flat ground. Thanks for watching! -Merideth
Any kit shown on this video is only made to fit 2007-2018 JK model Wranglers. If you're looking to lift your Liberty, you will need to find a lift kit specific to it. -Zach
32 inch tires came on both brother's Sahara unlimited back country, and my Rubicon. Not sure where he thinks you need a leveling kit just too run a 31 inch tire. guess they need to go learn more about the jk before they start trying to tell people what they need on it.
oh and I run 35s on my Rubicon with a modified evo leveling kit. 1..5 inch he front coil springs with a 1.75 inch puck from synergy on the rear. cut your fenders or replace with aftermarket and 35s work fine
I have the Teraflex leveling kit on right now but definitely want to go 2.5 on 33's next. Loving that JKS but I gotta save up some more coin. Great video.
Nathan Jefferson If you have the 3.21's you will notice the larger tires. But it will be tolerable. If you have the 3.73's or 4.10's it will be lovely with 33's. Yes larger tires will mess with the speedo. To fix it you have to buy either the AEV procal or the superchips flashcal.
Not too sure what you're trying to ask here. If you're asking if any of these kits will fit your Rubicon, the answer is yes! Just make sure if you have a two-door, get a two-door lift kit. If you have a four-door, get a four-door lift kit. -Zach
thanks for your reply. In australia we don't have much "complete lift kit" to choose, but I still prefer to have all parts from 1 brand. the geometry correction brackets are quite important acorrding to the mechanic. And he suggested to have 33' for a 2.5 lift. what do you think? AEV 2.5 supply & install costs around AU$2500 here.
Mr808Late I've got 33's on my jku right now and it works great.on and off road in the Rocky Mountains Canada. I will be getting the AEV 2.5" lift with 35's. The Aev set up doesn't sag after a load or time like the othe brands do.
You will never convince me that Rough Country is a good brand. Stop trying to sell that crap. RC is for people who don’t know better and only look at the price. Trash.
What size lift do you have on your Jeep?

Perfect video for me! IG: jonnybgood5
ExtremeTerrain.com I'm currently running a metalcloak 2.5" gamechanger, ARB/OME variety. Very nice lift.

I'm with ya, man!
AEV 2.5 with 35's no problem. Rock solid and tracks great. No issues in the last 2 years of hunting, off road and highway 40,000 miles.
AEV makes some really solid kits! Glad to hear yours is doing well! -Zach
Which one did you get?

how much is the speedometer off when you put on 35s and 2.5 lift? how do you get the speedometer working right again if it's off?
@@colleencajigal3651 like 2 mph faster. JScan app fixes it.
Dude say what the prices are so I'm not pausing it to open a new tab and Google the prices
i just bought the rock krawler max flex lift with the performance series shocks plus the front upper control arms an rear adjustable track bar. have it scheduled to be installed next week.
The J spec kit is the only good kit in this lift. The title should have read here are the 3 best kits we offer for sale.
I have a 2016 jk and I want to get the teraflex 2.5 suspension lift kit w/o shocks and add the fox shocks but my jk is a right hand drive… will it fit?
I'm new to lift kits on JK and this is an excellent video for a decision making.
I'm running the three and a half inch Rubicon Express on 35 20 inch rims

I want to get 35inch tires with a metalclock lift kit. Lift kit is call Game changer, fox edition. What do u think about it.

Hey Jeff! If you have a 2017, you have a Wrangler JK. Thanks for watching! -Zach
Who loaded the winch line onto to that drum? . . . . . . . Your fired!
hey Ryan i bought a used Jeep so how can i tell if i have a 2.5 lift i have 33' wrangler duratracs? the tires make alot of noise almost sounds like somethings not right.
MsLeelee94 tire tread on offroad tires make more noise
What front bumper is on the orange jeep behind you?
Hey what is the paint code for that jeep I want to do mine this color. Would love some help, thanks!!
If i get rc 2.5 lift. Do i need to replace sway bar? Or the stock should be fine?
You'd want to take a look at some longer sway bar end links to accommodate the added height and to make sure the sway bar is sitting level when on flat ground. Thanks for watching! -Merideth
I am going to be installing the jks lift kit soon!
Rough country sucks! Please don't waste your money on that lift. You will come to regret it
which one do you recommend
Do these fit for a 2016 4 door jeep ?
Hi! I have a Jeep Liberty 2002 and i was wondering if the Rough Country kit fit on it? Or it only works with Wranglers...
Any kit shown on this video is only made to fit 2007-2018 JK model Wranglers. If you're looking to lift your Liberty, you will need to find a lift kit specific to it. -Zach
ExtremeTerrain.com thank you!
What bumper is on that jeep?
How tall are you
MetalCloak Hands Down!
MetalCloak makes some amazing stuff too! -Zach
With the jks kit would you need to change to adjustable control arms to keep geometry

Lol "best" and rough country in the same sentence. Geez.
These are all budget (see "incomplete") kits. Honesty in advertising would be epic.
EchoOfEnoch11 I'm thrilled with the setup. High quality parts, very nice ride quality. I would absolutely buy it again.
I agree, that stuff bugs the crap out of me.
I run rough country but my shocks are Fox it rides so much better
I have the Teraflex leveling kit on right now but definitely want to go 2.5 on 33's next. Loving that JKS but I gotta save up some more coin. Great video.
Lawrence Schifko Save your money, then go with Metalcloak or Rock Krawler. Better kits for comparable money.
Would love to do something like this, anyone know if stock gears will run okay? Also would 33 change how the speedometer reads?
Nathan Jefferson

OME or AEV lift kits
Both companies make some really solid products! -Zach
But the Rubicon comes with 32s stock. You're saying the JKR needs a 2.5" lift just to go up 1" in tire size?
+RIPPER334
I don't believe they rub with 33s, 35s definitely. But you can just get shorter fender flares.
jk comes with 31s measure them on jeep
Jim Layey Only The base model did. Both the S package and Rubicons came stock with 32s. (255/75/17)
Can the jk fit a Jeep rubicon 2010 ?
Not too sure what you're trying to ask here. If you're asking if any of these kits will fit your Rubicon, the answer is yes! Just make sure if you have a two-door, get a two-door lift kit. If you have a four-door, get a four-door lift kit. -Zach
ExtremeTerrain.com thank you that was my question
No problem! Thanks for watching! -Zach
Wish it was performance grade shocks on the jspec
anyone using AEV? feedback?

thanks, planning to DIY based on AEV installationi manuel with a mechanic friend to save $1000......

Great video!!!
Why tf wouldn’t u tell us the prices of these kits
Seriously? This video damaged your creditability for me. Rough Country is junk! My Rubicon Express kit is far better that RC...
Brian Rife rubicon express is ass too buddy
@@ThePunisher123pXxbox yes it is but he didn't say it was good just that its better than the RC...lol

No rock krawler? And I run 40s on a 2.5 #FakeNews

These video editing is so terrible they are unwatchable. PS: Rough Country is garbage.
