Need! Want! I love powderhorns! This style is known as the Navaja de Muelle and/or the Navaja Cuchillo. The knife makes a distinct ratcheting sound when opening which led to its nick-name, Carraca. Totally wicked Knife
BigRedEDC, I really need to give this one a serious look. It’s is very much on my want list. Not a grail because it’s in my price range but definitely a knife I desire. Thanks for showing it.
Man the more you look at that knife the more it looks great. And thank you...that is the first time I have seen that lock style work, now I understand it. Such nice craftmanship. Thanks Big Red Edc...and Rick...and Blue.
BigRedEDC ...thanks Big Red. I wasn’t sure if it was a flipper but I didn’t see a nail nick either. I shopped around and didn’t see any that were flippers. I did buy one however. I found a Special Addition 303L for $15.
Cudeman has some nice knives as I own a fixed blade that is sort of in between a RAT 3 and RAT 5 in size but much nicer with a really nice leather sheath....I bought mine from Battlbox....They do have some quality....Nice share as love that handle....Good stuff....
Cool knife! Never handled a Cudemon folder, but I used to have a Cudemon fixed blade, that was a pretty good knife. Gave it to my brother who still uses it today..He loves it. I like the looks, and the lock is different, which makes it even more interesting.
I think it's bull horn and not buffalo. it's a great piece and it's also available in VG10 steel. It is the typical knife that many of us have had in the pocket of children in Spain. The lock is not exactly that of the ratchet sound since it is somewhat different as it only has one stop but it is very similar. sorry for my bad English
Nice looking knife. Really like the locking mechanism as it is unique. Guess the blade shape is to keep the knife from going in to deep. Nice finish on blade and handle. Thanks for showing it.
Very nice! I love the handle material! I’m about the same as you in that I don’t think I’d carry it much, but it would still be cool to add to the collection.
I love everything about it ,must see if one of the bambinos who lives in Spain can get one .ATB Dave Thanks for the website but that would mean I would have to pay for it
