Ferrite is another name for iron. The chemical abbrev. for iron is Fe. Xeno Ferrite then could be called Non-Earth Iron or just Space Iron.
Big brain over here who graduated high school.
Dang you smart bro
one of the meanings for 'xeno' is 'alien' it's already called 'alieniron'
that's ironic
@@CS-hj1tr i am aware. My choice of wording was intentional."Could be" as in it is an option.
"this game has water in it so it's kind of like minecraft in a way" i love you AA never change
these vods are better than most shows and films today.
I like "future" building and mining games but I wonder if anyone will have guts to make historically accurate mining game that take place in 1800-1920 where lots of miners are kids, and call it minor-miner :D
43:45 as someone whos used minimalist factory games, Containers with multiple inputs and outputs ARE SPLITTERS. Just chunky ones.
This is the third time I think that I've heard AA reference the "outrageous mate" clip recently. Australia lives in this man's head rent free
Oh frabjous day!
Ah yes, Vanilla. The elmers ice cream that glues us all together
WHOA! Was that CODEBULLET as the tutorial robot?!?!?!
A fellow subscriber i see!
I knew it was familiar
Voxels could be absulutely gorgeous. There was a developer who were making a voxel based engine with real life physics it looked so beautiful that when he tried to go for smaller voxels we adamantly opposed. John lin is the name there are youtube videos about it. It is a shame he disappeared years ago.
I’d pay money to have Carl the robot be the new voice of Siri
What does the male Australian Siri sound like? I've only ever heard female Aussie Siri.
AA is my super hero, never had one growing up.
Again love these chunky vids, love watching/listening to them while trucking!
25:10 Did I hear a Rock and Stone?
Ambiguous Amphibian, the Additional Digit Australian.
"Finally. We have b a c k p a c k s . "
Never heard of "voxels"..guess you learn something every day, huh?
2:27:44 this is starting to remind me of a better "FORTRESSCRAFT: Evolved" a 2015 game that kinda stopped updating around 2019, but without the enemys constantly attacking you.
I was using 4 research facilities in early game already, it seemed like you don't need more than 3-4 assemblers to saturate them because the science packs are consumed slowly. But anyway research speed increases linearly as you increase the building, just like labs in Factorio.
2:39:00 usually at this point with any speed construction, you get to the point you have you larger machines, and second tier belts, and you wipe out the entire factory.
Then you re-place all the things you need, in the order you need them, some people work backwards some people work from ores, some people use modular designs.
The method i use (especially in satisfactory) is assigning different areas to JUST construct that material. With vertical buildings it can have multiple floors dedicated to outputting to a main bus one material/product.
Each level having balanced ratios, but each level is its own factory. Then leading them out, i'll combine them closer to the main bus, for upgrade sake.
But i also like it modular, having a cluster of buildings, each filled with the machines for each step of the process, so that i dont have belts going every which way.
Then if i can, i'll feed the entire output to a storage facility near my main hub, creating a sort of IKEA warehouse of items for me to pick from.
Storage is usually a third of the feed out of the main bus.
So if you think of a material factory as its own seperate circuit board, then you copy paste it ontop of its self, it simplifies the input outputs.
You then have a "stack" of [insert resource item] producers.
ngl, I'm here primarily for your soothing voice. I don't really care how terrible of a factory you make, as long as you narrate it in your trademark calming way
I like these games but gives me an enormous amount of laziness to play them so im glad yuou do!
"Xenoferrite" would just be "alien iron"
2:17:50 WOA thats pretty impressive, i've not seen an elevator like that. Thats so useful.
2:21:30 i know the feeling, its very.. difficult? to translate the 2D layouts into 3D especially if the inputs are all on the same levels. Satisfactory helped with the vertical conveyors, instead of needing to think of spiraling paths you could just make vertical busses.
I bought this game because of this video, it's so much fun!
2:25:20 lol that point in factory building where you need to break it all down and REBUILD with the new tech and more effeciently including the new machines.
I'm excited to comment on such a fresh video!
Oh man I was hoping there would be a VOD of this after the video came out on the main channel the other day 😁
Bioshocking trees makes as much sense as punching them, I suppose lol..imagine that torque-age...
I've played this game for hours but just started watching his and realized Carl the robot sounds a lot a lot like Code Bullet I mean maybe not but I feel like he does
Now do Buggos
Buggos is good, that’s a deep cut
Ooo cool - didn't know about this - thank you!
The Voxels and style of the game reminds me of the game Eco. Thanks for the excellent content, AA.
My 5 month old daughter loves your voice, she can be mid cry hear your splendiferous audio and be completely enthralled. She then looks truly offended if I turn you off. Thanks AA
That robot sounds like Code Bullet without the profanity or sarcasm.
Has AA ever played Dyson Sphere Program? I would assume he has, cause it would be right up his alley.
58:22 The biomass burners are only outputting more because theres more of them. 4 Bio vs 1 burner.
I love the fact that you listened to your inner demons and commented multiple times at various points throughout the VOD. I also feel the urge to do that, but I'm too afraid 🤣
Have you unlocked the foundry? They have better ore-to-plate ratio
Yeah Australians are having tons of fun, with their whole continent on fire...at some points.
Usually just during summer in December otherwise it's alright
Often on fire and often flooded, a land of extremes
@@h.c5750 dont talk it down like that! The floods and the fires are every now and then interruped by a nice refreshing spider-rain
1:12:26 i cant tell if you've been handing in your little robot quest things for the rewards.
Would you suggest this game or techtonica? I understand that they are different but just curious what everyone's thoughts are.
How deep is the z/below ground level? Would be super cool to build a subterranean factory
41:50 weird i just noticed it says "strained" on the power.
it all returns to minecraft
Maybe Carl is from New Zealand, did ya think of that? Lol.
47:44 doesnt talking to the Bot unlock science packs 2? for faster research
Don't forget to stretch them legs A.A.! Don't want any clots! I feel this necessary after the 36 hr comment...
'Pumps'
ambiguousamphibian, more like amphibiCAN . . .
Way to make me miss my psp like crazy I was poor n got a broken psp from a buddy for 10$ than I fixed the screen n plastic, all in it was 80$ to get the coolest portable console since the gameboy
...This reminds me I haven't touched Satisfactory in some time.
I do yern for the mines, after all we all have a child inside of us. So this game could be a lot of fun. Since *all children yern for the mines*
I love you AA
how can you spend 100 days in game and show us what happens without a soyface thumbnail
I SPENT 100 DAYS IN FOUNDARY HERES WHAT HAPPENED
>> sockpuppet frog :O
Cool I'm early. This guy is hilarious
Xeno. Like purge the xeno scum for the emperor. And ferite is iron. Latin. Like magnetic metals are also called Faris metals. Iron is fe or fr. On the periodic table. Due to being called ferrite. Also can't spell. Haha. Owell your not being stupid dude keep up the good work
dyson sphere remake ?
Am I the only one annoyed at the drill going anti-clockwise?
I've never been this early, jeez.
Is "dirt" not bio mass? Hmm...maybe if it was dust, or sand...but..I'm thinking "soil"..as dirt...
Dirt has biomass in it but is mostly decomposed minerals. Biomass generally refers to plant matter.
No wildlife? It's just a bunch of rocks :/
2:20:02 AA, earnestly, and maybe I'm wrong but why are you often concerned with being or appearing as a person who is smart and mature and, here for example, not doing something childish? (Least you acknowledge how unlike and beneath you that is)
I'm not asking because I'm judging you but because I see myself in your statements and have asked myself these types of questions before. Asking leads to change and change can be nice.
Great video, take care AA
My dear, dear, AA.
There's no such thing as a "British accent". Britain contains 3 different countries all with their own languages, let alone accents and regional dialects. Come now; you're a cultured fellow, you should know this. ☺️
Homie got confused by ferrum/iron, go easy.
Was really excited until I saw that this was Paradox. Will pass on a game that is either abandoned or that charges $300 to add basic features over 8 years before reskinning the game and doing it again.
Thanks but no thanks. Love AA though, of course.
Did I hear a rock and stone!?
