Even though this scene is far from historical reality, I love that the guy who killed the man leading the prayer doesn't even understand that he gave him exactly what every Muslim wishes for, to be granted martyrdom especially while performing prayer. Bruh this is a historical drama show. Why are u guys getting so pissed about it? Most of the things shown are not true. They had to add this for Drama purpose and that's it. It was both but the preying without needing any artifacts or an actual individual in front of them. They had great faith which was very rare during that time period.
They reminded him of how Vikings with fight to the death and kill for their Göds. He also realized that killing them was their victory, so he said 'they're not worthy of death'. Muhammad (peace be upon him)said the gift of a true believer is death.
He didn't want to be Muslim, he just realised their passion that rivals his own for Norse gods which he empathised with and gained a sense of respect and relation. Probably related with them more than he ever did with his friends. It’s a tV series bro and it didn’t make Muslims look weak at all. Instead of making us look like unclean violent animals it made the disbelievers look like that. Check the scene over again. Even though this scene is far from historical reality, I love that the guy who killed the man leading the prayer doesn't even understand that he gave him exactly what every Muslim wishes for, to be granted martyrdom especially while performing prayer. I like how floki respected the prayer. Us Muslims can’t break our prayers no matter what. If someone is calling us or if an activity is being done in front of us, we just have to keep praying

He didn't want to be Muslim, he just realised their passion that rivals his own for Norse gods which he empathised with and gained a sense of respect and relation. Probably related with them more than he ever did with his friends.
