@@HorrorBabble Between work and kids it is hard to find the time I would like to read. I downloaded a bunch of these to my phone and listen to them on my way to and from work
These are all amazing, Ian! I listened to them individually as you released them, and am happy they are all available together in this collection (it makes the individual stories easier for me to find)😊. These are great stories!
Masterful! Mr. Gordon you have a storyteller's voice and timing that Vincent Price himself would have been proud of. Bravo! Would you consider giving us some readings from E. A. Poe? I think we might enjoy that very much.
Six: Many and diverse were those weird tracts, cyclopaedias and monographs that belonged to Randolph Carter. Although many of them were, “notoriously perilous,” it was Carter's copy of The Knick-Knack-Nocromicon; an almost unobtainable, “Gordon,” imprint complete and unexpurgated; with the original promotional material, special offers, (many of them in Arabic,) and the vouchers which was the most potentially hazardous to the careless or to the unwary.
That looks like copypasta but I’ll let you off since it’s you ❤ You sub to three channels, you have no videos, you have been on here for twelve years, your handle sounds like my real name, you interact with me, what gives? Do I know you? Or do you know me?
@@AcornElectron You've become a bit of a fixture here, almost an institution and in an entirely good way and your comments always make make me smile. In fact it's your own comments, (and The Statement of Randolph,) as much as anything else that probably triggered my own occasional flights of whimsy. But mostly, just like everyone else I'm still here for Ian Gordon and for the these marvelous stories
🧙+🧙🏾♂️=(👶🏼🪢)🩸(🔪🧟♂️) The clay story is sooo good !!!❤ Twins of a witch & warlock murdering in-utero thus causing a cursed family bloodline, with the mark of Cain-❤murderous brothers aspect makes for a full throttle storyline! Sheesh!
Already commented about how awesome the first two stories were, just listened to Clay in it's entirety and they hit the nail on the head with that too... In reference to a comment I left on either The Crib of Hell or Hydra videos (in the playlist itself) I had an ex gf who was supposedly "schizophrenic" and could "communicate with the dead" ... I'll never forget the first time I actually asked her about it face to face. "Is anyone in here with us right now?" The silence in the room was BLARING, her eyes looked past/over my right shoulder to the wall behind me and as I broke out into a cold sweat I slowly turned around, looking at that spot on the wall, and heard a set of two distinct taps come from that spot on the wall ... She then repeated the same thing for the corner of the room at my 3 o clock, and another set of two taps came from that spot as well. Pretty damn creepy if I do say so myself. Respect for Dr. Gaunt... if we had more physicians like him, maybe a larger percentage of the people struggling would stand a chance at resolving things and leading a more normal life. Sort of a slippery slope though... some people are just downright crazy, and indulging them DOES run the risk of potentially making things worse. Not the case with every person who's "mentally ill" though.
@@edennis8578 yeah I remember it being a thing when I read some of these as a kid I just didn't make the connection when I grew up and became a pot head.
This is channel which I am a grateful fan of, also has a podcast which is excellent and I’m subscribed too. However I’m reconsidering this due to the resent releases of the podcast having a mid roll Ad. Which completely rips you out of the narrative, often cutting off words forcing you to skip back and forth, further disrupting the experience. Or YT has you fumbling around frantically trying to skip past that god awful Jet2 Ad. Or the latest dreary generic sounding garbage that gets pumped out of the various orifice’s of the MSM social platforms. This is a poor choice as are mid roll YT Ads, 9/10 times this results in me not listening to said episode and hesitating or not bothering to listen to future releases. Regardless whether this is YT or a channel creator, it is a problem that reoccurs, I’m sure undoubtedly harming both channel’s and YT ultimately.
Hi Benidict. Thanks for listening. Here on RUclips, we have control over ad placement. The revenue generated here is vital to our continued existence. In terms of the podcast though, the ad situation differs between platforms. Apple, for example, place them randomly, and we don’t receive a share of the revenue. If you want to avoid ads completely though, you can stream for free over on Bandcamp. See the video description for a link.
Interesting @@HorrorBabble I subbed to the Bandcamp channel because it seems well worth a few ££ each month to support the podcasts, but didn't know you had ads (we have a YT premium account). So much content I never run out of stuff to listen to :-)
😮 beautiful story great narration thank you
Painting miniatures and listening to some sweet Lovecraftian stories. This is the way to spend a good evening. Thank you for everything you do.
Amazing naration. You have a great voice. It is wonderful to be able to listen to so many stories and see them kept alive
Thank you so much!

“Don’t listen to it Carter! I’m right here!”
Keep up the good work and, as always, stay safe!
You were blessed with the perfect narration voice for Lovecraftian prose. Thank you for finding this calling and sharing your talent with us all.
I love these longer ones. Perfect to just put on in the background or to fall asleep listening to.
Thanks for putting those stories together. It is a collection that will accompany us during the long, cold and mysterious nights of the winter.

Wow. Listening to the second story and it's wild what people believed was possible with cannabis. 😂
You should look up the John Silence stories. It must have been a common belief that cannabis could open doors between dimensions.

Arthur Pendragon is the most obvious fake name I have ever saw.
It's king Arthur's full name
