With everything in my life being a disappointment as of lately, this is quite the opposite and I thank you for these great stories. I know I have heard them before but it is an escape from the mundane none the less.
It’s very telling that in times when the average person feels outside the norm, those who dwell in that place (because of things equally out of their control) can offer what little comfort there is. Chaos tends to feel comfortable to those who feel chaos, or something like that
This was a fantastic idea, you folks! Thank you Ian, Jen, and the rest of your crew at Horrorbabble! I'm 27 hours into a 30 hour drive so this dropped at the perfect time to listen to till I get home! Way to go mate, looking forward to this collection! People classed as outsiders are always the best people by far. If someone has had any reason to rise above and push on through adversity, that pressure, if you survive it will turn you into a truly amazing and unique human being. Stronger, better and much more compassionate than the other 95 %. Don't break... it will be hard won but worth all the effort I promise you.
You can always find a more positive way to view almost any situation, even where most people will struggle to see it. It's really hard in the beginning but you can at least view rough situations in a more positive light. You'll feel a lot better yourself and because of this, deal with whatever it might be in a much more effective way.

This was a brilliant collection of stories that you put together for us to listen to. I took the time on the weekend to listen to them all. I enjoyed them so much. They all exhibited traits of outsiders and the authors were very descriptive. Your narration was exceptional. Thank you. Have a wonderful weekend 💖🌟
I seriously love your channel! I am a huge horror fan and I have always dreamed of writing my own horror stories. Finding you guys inspired me to start my own horror channel, so thanks a billion! I love the video!
Wonderful, great, I've been waiting! A great theme, thanks! And this first story has always been one of my top favourites. One of those that *really* need to be read by this particular narrator, thanks Ian!!
The rain sheeted down upon the unclean city, flooding the gutters in rainbow hues and reflecting lurid neon from the cheap gin joints and sleazy massage parlors it would never cleanse. Hunching my shoulders against the staccato rain drops, I lit a cigarette and turned down the dark alley. Damn Warren and his paranoia. In front of me a dark trench coated shadow emerged from behind a dumpster. Ivory teeth gleamed on a hatchet face shadowed by a black derby hat. In a gloved hand he gripped a nickeled Colt .45. I scowled and shouted over the pouring rain, _"I was EXPECTING Warren!"_ The man snarled and raised the .45 to my face _"You FOOL! Warren is DEAD!"_ And that would've been the end. But then Warren came up behind him with a cricket bat and hit his bowler for sixes.
HI Philip Hope things are better for you . I seem to enjoy listening to horror stories when dealing with chaos and Ian has my total gratitude for enhancing my audio experience as I listen to his dramatically superior verbal performances .
This was so amazing. A good many of these stories inspired me to wright some short stories of my own. I really liked the 2nd or 3rd story, the one with the (Trees of Truth). It reminded me of my own daughter and how we would make up things on the fly and act as if they were real, such as the magical smoking pipe. Thank you so much for putting these stories on here.
