Edit: Can you please make a video about how you do hair for your dolls? This is the one step that's really frustrating for me and I don't know any good methods. If you couldn't make a video could you please tell me, or suggest a video?

A nice tip to mark stitches in small pieces is using a thread of yarn to do it (I recommend using a contrasting color and and a lighter weight yarn than the one you're using in your project, I usually use the ones meant for embroidery), just pass the yarn over the stitch of the last roud before you make the stitch in your new round, this way the thread is attached to the piece and you know where are all the beginings of your rounds, when you finish the piece, just pull the piece of thread carefully and it will come off leaving no marks.
Thanks for sharing darling! Sometimes I do that too, but I still prefer to stitch markers, especially when I am teaching. My husband also crochet, and he prefers to use a piece of thread instead of stitch markers too 😅
@@Crocheniacs I started using a piece of thread because I've been making really small amigurumis (I'm using regular recipes, but crocheting with Cléa, from Círculo, that yarn have 28 WPI and usually the amigurumi end up with less than 10cm) and my stitches markers are too big for them, and I'm really enjoying it because I can keep track of where all my rounds begin, but I also use stitch markers when I'm teaching someone (I'm teaching my boyfriend and is really easier for him to see things this way).
I use the starting tail as a stitch marker just because I'm lazy and I don't really want to get up from the table to get one. But I used to use a different color yarn.

Minka is keen to create a wardrobe with different outfits but she can’t yet design them herself - she can follow patterns 💪🏽 that way she could get them changed and style them to play with
That's awesome! I am so happy she enjoyed crocheting this pattern. I always try to make the explanations as simple as possible, so it really makes me happy that she can follow them. I still haven't created outfits for this doll base. I am planning to, as soon as heal 100% I will be back making tutorials like outfits, hair, and accessories for example.

Hi! This is beautiful and really easy to follow through as a complete beginner, but may I ask how do I make the doll bigger? Like if I wanted to make the doll a bigger size what should I do? I know I could increase the weight of the yarn and the size of the hook, but is there something that I should change in the pattern as well?

Hey sweetheart! First of all, I am so glad that you liked this tutorial! Thank you very very much! You can always modify the pattern to be the size that you want it to have, but it is not an easy explanation to be written here. There are several aspects to be considered to increase the rounds in a way that the whole body of the doll is still in the same proportion. I would say that for now, as a beginner, the easiest way is to change the yarn and the crochet hook.

What size Tulip red hook do you use?
I usually use a 2,0 or 2,2mm size for a fingering yarn 😘
How do you add hair to this type of doll?
Hey sweetie! It is the same way you would add in any other doll, it does not change for having a square shape. There are sooo many different ways to do it!🤣
I wanted to share this body base, so people could explore their creative and create their own dolls. I will crochet a doll with this mini version too and make a tutorial here on youtube☺️
@Crocheniacs Thank you so much , I made Only a few dolls And the way I put her on was to crochet. In the front loop only on the top part of the head and then crochet the hair on the back loops of those. So I haven't learned any other way put on hair.

@@Crocheniacs ok, não vou criar o arquivo então, eu perguntei justamente pra saber se você se importaria, porque já aconteceu de eu perguntar e a pessoa deixar ou não, por isso eu sempre pergunto, porque em geral eu vejo o vídeo e anoto a receita em um caderno, depois vou fazendo a peça com o caderno e o vídeo pra ficar mais fácil pra mim, o PDF era para os meus amigos e porque eu sempre gosto de poder deixar fácil no meu celular, mas eu entendo perfeitamente você preferir que eu não faça o arquivo.
Sobre o vídeo em português eu só perguntei porque eu vi alguns vídeos em português no canal, mas como tinha reparado que eles eram mais antigos eu fiquei na dúvida se você ainda fazia, ou só os em inglês, eu conheci o canal faz pouco tempo e estou amando, você explica muito bem.
