Yarn Organization Hack You Won't Believe is SO SIMPLE!
Просмотров 808День назад
I always found it very annoying to lose the labels of my yarns and not know which brand or color it was. I also didn't like how soft the skein of yarn was after using the yarn winder, and it always got messy when I tried to organize them all on my shelves. So using empty toilet paper, I managed to keep my skeins of yarn more organized and firm, and all my yarn stash with its color codes and bra...

If you have a neck light and a light background you can see your stitches well, even with black yarn.
Can you give us a pattern?
The pattern is available in my shop 😘crocheniacs.com/pattern/BWmsLL1XsItGie0SR3q9/
Makes me think of the BIG Gingerbread Man in Shrek😉 😊
Yeaaah! It reminds of him a little 😅
Seriously at my school market so many people say how much does this cost🤔 And I say 5.00€ and they say omg I'm not gonna buy it it's so expansive🤬 and I say in my head seriously I sell it for so cheep and other people sell it for 12.50🤬 it makes me so angry and wheal watching this video made me feel much better because I'm not the only one here with this problem😁
Unfortunately, it does not happen only to you, it is everywhere in the world! People don't try to bargain when they enter an Apple Store and buy expensive gear they don't even need, but when it comes to handmade, they always try to make the best deal! Your work is beautiful, don't be discouraged 😘
So adorable 😍
thank you 😘
I’ll agree black yarn is a nightmare. I’m on my second project ever and it’s a penguins and I used black cotton. I’m also stuck on the directions. 🤷♀️🙄😞😞
Black yarn makes it so difficult to see the stiches 🤣!!!
@ and I kept splitting the yarn as it was cotton. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🙄
If you have it, use a neck light and also a light background.
Fico incrivel❤
😘
I want to know how you got your stitches to look so neat and kinda look like little x's
thank you, dear! There are a lot of tips for sure, like yarn, crochet hook, tension, the stuffing, but most of all I would say it's practice. It takes time 😘

Thanks for the tips.
😘😘😘
Very clever!
I am happy you like the idea 😍
How am I just NOW finding you!!?!?? Love the tips, thank you.
hahaha You're so sweet! Thank you so much! 😍
Make a lining from the same yarn or a scrap yarn you don't care about/is scratchy in the same color. Then put your preferred yarn over top. Why? You don't need as much stuffing. The toy keeps it's shape better than stuffing alone. Your stuffing won't show over time when the stitches relax- only the yarn underneath will show. It makes sculpting easier and hidden within the toy. You have a hidden place to put in magnets, squeakers, and other hidden animated bits. You can use other stitches besides underhand or overhand single crochet to get unique textures. Even cluster stitches or Tunisian crochet stitches. The list goes on and on for reasons to line them. Why is this not common knowledge? Yeah, its a bit more effort, and at somepoints your making the toy twice. (Or three times if you use cluster stictches) But when you see the results you'll never go back. Personally, I use underhand cast in the lining and overhand on the outside when I want to make a basic single crochet toy.b
Thankyou so much for this, ive been crocheting for many years but never amigurami, but im hooked now 🙄 😂 I love what one can make...i'm just starting my first detailed project for mu daughter, it says on the pattern abbs it says (W - inc 3 sc in stitch below) im doing the head and im starting from the 2nd st from a ch8 so no stitch below ? Can you help please 🙏
Thank you dear, I am glad you liked the video 😍 About the pattern you're trying, I strongly recommend you send a message to the designer who created it, and you explain what are the parts you are a bit confused.
@Crocheniacs thankyou, yes I'll do that x
I have a small(ish) cardboard box where I keep amigurumi parts that I have started to crochet, didn't like how they were coming along, heads, bodies, tails, etc., and when I feel creative, I take a few things out and try to make something decent out of it... I don't waste... also keeep all my scraps of yarn trimmings for stuffing amigurumi...
That's interesting! I also have a small box of unfinished projects, but being honest, I forget it exists and don't go back 🤣
I've heard that using "yarn under" helps keep stitches tight. How do you do this, and is the technique useful for other projects?
In this video I explain more detailed the difference between the two stitches: ruclips.net/video/pqriNVLE1Nk/видео.htmlsi=nCRWZNfrhB6u9W6l For sure the technique is used for other projects! When you crochet garments, bags or even pot holders. 😘
All talk no show. Your a nice person 😊
thank you so much, my dear 😍
They were very useful tips, but I was mesmerized by your beautiful hair!
Ohhhh, thank you! I am flattered 😍 I spent my whole life fighting with my hair, it took me years to accept it as it is. So, believe me, your compliment made me smile a lot around here! 😘
I was doing great until got to the split at the tail … I’m so confused😵💫
Hey dear, what exactly you didn't understand?
@@CrocheniacsI did it once then did another one with cotton yarn and just couldn’t get it. I will try again !!
You're content is FIRE! Thank you!
OMG! Thank you soooo much 🥹
Simply adorable ❤😊❤
thank you 😘
Love it 🥰 so much more pristine. Thanks 😊 ❤
I am glad you like it 😘
Hi, a different video of yours popped up on the feed today. Within minutes I subscribed and will be purchasing the book asap. Also will be binge watching. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
Thank you SO MUCH! What a kind message, you made my day 😍 Hope you have a lot of fun with the book 💛
This is the one I was most excited for 💜💜💜
😍 thank you!!! I am in love with it too!!!
❤
How does your stitches don't slant.. Mine always slant to the right. I get really frustrated especially when i want to crochet horizontal stripe.. Any tips will be Greatfull...
I should make one video dedicated to it because this is one of the questions people ask me the most 😅 There are a couple of things that can be done to avoid slating too much, like the stitch type that you use, your tension, yarn... there's nothing wrong with slanting, and since we are crocheting in a spiral, it is pretty normal that the stitches behave like that. Thanks for writing to me, I already added it to my list, and I will make a video about it 😘
@Crocheniacs thank you for your response... Looking forward for your detail explanation Video.. 👍👍
Yes! ❤😮❤
😍
I absolutely 💯 love your Tshirt 👕!
Thank you!!!! I love those silly shirts 🤣 I think it's even funnier when I go outside and see people trying to read them 🤣
i still can't understand what 'increase' means? 2 sc in the next loop?
Exactly dear! Increase means 2 sc together
@@Crocheniacs Thanks so much. Really nice of you to take the time to reply❣
I don't understand. When you did 2 SC in each stitch and in the next round you said, increase 1, you meant 3 sc in each stitch and so on. In the next round you have 4 sc in the same stitch, right?
Hey sweetie! I also answered you in the other video where I teach beginners how to crochet a ball. Was it clearer for you? Since this video is not intended to teach beginners, the explanation was a bit faster 😘
@@Crocheniacs Thanks again. I got the explanation/your answer on the other video's comment. I watched this first and commented, then found the link to the beginner video but I think I needed more hand-holding, Thanks for that🥰
Hi, I just saw these video and I have an triangle head of a bear with a plush yarn, how can I do for correct that I already finish all the head to correct from the start
Oh, I am sorry to hear that sweetie. Unfortunately, after you finish the amigurumi, it is very difficult to correct this kind of "triangle" shape 😕
Thank you for this informative video! Over or Under the hook for amigurumi when finishing a stitch? Above, someone wrote about the Ladder Stitch for amigurumi. Can you show us how to do this stitch? TYSM! ❤
My pleasure dear, and thanks for giving me the feedback too ☺️ I just added to my (very long) to-do list 🤣
My tips are don't be afried to alter the pattern I some times add in an increase round were its sc or dc round. Also i don't do all the rounds e.g. with the bat from pocket amigurumi monsters by sabrina somers it's 16rnds for the head, but I cut it down to 13rnds. Lastly ladder stitch this has seriously helped my amigurumi when attaching the heads and bodies. This stitch has seriously helped with that awkward gap between the two parts.
Awesome dear! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and advice with the community 😍
I mean, sure if you want to change the look of the pattern, alter it, but why would you add arbitrary increase rounds or cut a 16 round pattern down to 13, unless you're drastically changing the shape?
@angustheterrible3149 the problem with doing 16 rnds the head is too oval and it doesn't look like the picture. I can assure it worked for me and as for the extra increases it helps me to keep a rounder bowl like shape. It might not be for everyone but I've found that it works for me.
I'm not afraid of sewing, I hate it lol I can sew fine, but I have no notion of symmetry, I swear everything is aligned and when I finish sewing it is all crooked, and I always use pins, and I only have that problem with amigurumi, whenever I have to sew other things this doesn't happen. But I don't avoid projects with sewing like the purge, usually I will change something to make it no sew.
It just gives them more personality 😊
I agree with you, sewing is not the most interesting part. Sewing amigurumi parts is indeed different from sewing other things, especially because of the symmetry we want to achieve. But please, please don't give up on it 🤣 The teacher inside me is here screaming 😂 My brain is already "I have to make more videos", " I have to make more tutorials", "I need to make it easier for everyone" 😂
About the frog thing, if anyone is confused is because when you're undoing your crochet you're basically ripping it out, right? So you "rip it, rip it, rip it" and it kinda sounds like a frog lol
😂😂😂 exactly!!! Thank you so much for sharing 😘
My best learning experience has been my failure of a project. I have 3 that were just too hard. They sit till I think I have better skills.
Thank you so much for sharing my dear! Failing is indeed part of the learning process and sometimes my anxious mind forgets about it 🤣 Whenever I try and I fail, I get frustrated for days, but I always learn in the process. Thank you for reminding me of that 😘
I have sewn since I was a little girl and I am now over 65 so I have unsewn or frogged projects in almost every craft. It is not a disaster! It gets better every try!
@@oldmomma56 thank you so much my dear!!! You are SO experienced, your feedback is super valuable, thank you for sharing with the community. I completely agree with you! It gets better with time! 😘
Yay! I’m “here” when this drops! My girl, Bia!!! 0:20 🧡 Excellent tips, seriously. Thank you!
You are SOOOO SWEET!!! 😍
Xxxx ❤
I’m sorry but to create a Different size ball the explanations make no sense. You should make a tutorial for the biggest ball. And you should explain what you’re doing instead of just saying the number 2
So pretty! I brought a non crocheted one from the shops but this one is so much cuter
Thank you so much! I was actually inspired to crochet one after seeing stuffed Christmas pillows in stores 🤭
@ Love love love it
@@michaelfry2134 thank you very much my dear 😘
Great pattern but it took me nearly an hour. Am i that slow? XD
Oh no, darling! Everyone has their own pace! I usually don't even like to write the amount of time it takes to crochet one amigurumi in my written patterns, because I am always afraid it might discourage some people. You have your own way of doing things! The important thing here is that you managed to crochet it, and that's a reason to celebrate! 😘
@Crocheniacs thanks for that reply! I also used non fluffy yarn, so 3mm cotton. I have been crocheing for a while now and usually i dont pay attention to my speed, but i have to crochet lots of little critters for thr children i teach. They saw me crochet and now all want something lol
hi! Do you know how to put clothes on them? or how to make clothes for them?
Hi!!! I created this pattern so people could make their own dolls with this body and head base. There are tons of ways to make different hair styles, different clothes and accessories. I would need to create a whole course just to teach it 😅 But who knows, maybe this is something I can put on my (long) to-do list 🤣
@@Crocheniacs hello! Thank you, I think the course would be useful to me, I need to learn how to put clothes HAHA
@@LaylaAhued I always thought about creating one, but I needed 40 hours in my day to crochet more 🤣 Who doesn't want that, right?
HAHAHAHA, thanks for the tutorial, it helped me a lot! Anyway, I think I'll have to learn about clothes on my own! HAHAHA, real, thanks for the tutorial friend 🤗
thank you, this was so clear! and easy to remember too!
Great! I am happy you liked my explanation 😘
But when it’s at the end of a round aren’t i supposed to make a slip stitch? I love your patterns but it’s the stuff between that’s hard for me to guess
Not necessarily! Sometimes you do need to make a slip stitch at the end, and sometimes you work in continuous rounds 😘
This is one of the best I've seen so far! V talented
Have you ever tried this trick with your yarn stash? I would love to know !!!! 😍
Lovely
thank you 😘
So excited. Have to wait for payday though 😂😂😂
😍 this is super cute, right?
That is cute 😍 🎄
thank you 😘
