Nice home made tool for your SUPCO Oil additive. I think I'll borrow that idea. I'm trying to find a magnet set up like yours to hold my gauges, great idea. As always great video. Woody
Nice tool bag. I like an open top bag myself. Could You give more info on the Stanley knife?Have you used the Supco oil to free a stuck reversing valve? If thats what I am thinking about it has a strong odor that has to wear off.
nice vid Jim. When you pulled the scale out to weigh the bag I thought the next thing you would pull out is a set of gauges to check the superheat lol. these bags sure are hot! I have two backpacks.
Nice job Jim, Veto bags rock for sure. Strange thing tho, the damn thing seems to get heavier every year. lol keep up the good work and thanks for posting.
Those brass caps are for service valves, they seal face to face,. The twist on style is for schraeders. I carry the two service wrenches too. I was trained to leave one on my MC if in the event of an emergency, I can shut it down quickly. After I open it up, I reverse the wrench lever and give it a quarter turn back, as if to close it.....just an old habit.
eddieg780 I put a dab of silicone in the hole of a 6-32 or 8-32 nut and glue the tip of the cap to the nut. Then you can just throw it in your magnetic bowl.
Hello Jim P love your videos keep up the great work you do,? is that bag it OT XL or OT LC got a lot if similar tools you use n get some like you use thanks for sharing
Your"e not kiding about trying to find hex flare caps and the rubber in the finger caps is just a little o ring.they used to be as thick as refrigeration hose gasket
Thanks Jim for sharing this video. For sharing all your videos. I'm very new to this in fact I'm starting hvacr school in a week. I was curious to ask about your jumper wires to pull power from the disconnect. if your tool is 120v how does that work with 240v or even 3 phase power? without the neutral I mean. connect to L1 and ground?

rasta1kikker It would be nice if they made wrenchs out of light titanium, then my tool bag would weigh less.

Hey Jim, when I lose my oil bottle plugs, which is a lot, I screw a small wire nut on the end. Seems to work ok.
eddieg780 good tip thanks, I'll just buy another thing of oil.
eddieg780 I put a dab of silicone in the hole of a 6-32 or 8-32 nut and glue the tip of the cap to the nut. Then you can just throw it in your magnetic bowl.
Thank you Jim. Your van looks interesting also.
Nice Tools Jim.
To open up an adjustable alittle grind the knurl back so it opens more. Works great to gain extra little opening space.

Nice setup Jim !!
Wow it's like you just keep pulling stuff out of that one side, can that tool bag hold more than the Veto tech XL ?
Jim nice bag I just picked one up....great bag. Where did buy the plastic assortment box from, that fits perfectly in your bag.
Home Depot has a couple of them(Husky brand) that are nearly identical - that's what use for my 'goodie box' in my Veto.
Thanks Mike, will do!
Love your videos, watched all of them, wished I could find someone around here willing to share their expertise with me, Keep it Up. :-)

Put a tie wrap on your zipper.

Toothpick may keep that oil from spilling
Great share.
Happy screw and nut drivers Jim :-) I'm noticing a lot of guys using fluorescent green leak soap. Anything special about it?
