Im torn between the 1090r and the 1190r, what do you ( The reviewer ) and viewers think about them dropping the MSC on the 1090R? Good Move, or should they have kept it?

It is 1050 cm3 but is it the 1050 engine they had in Europe? My understanding is that this is an entirely new engine.
Yes it is a new engine. This 1050 doesn't have anything to do with the old 1050 Euro-only model -- Rennie
Did they fix the hairdryer on your leg heat issue from the rear exhaust header the 1190 suffered from?
You do still get a bit of heat, but after two days on board in the desert in full ADV gear, I didn't find it too bad.
Pretty sure an ECU flash with a slightly richer fueling map would reduce heat. Good ol' Euro4.
