A lot of our farmers already work beyond 65 so essentially they are paying for their own pension thru tax. Capital gains tax will see more of our richer people leaving for greener pastures. You cannot tax a country out of poverty. Roads are ridiculously expensive and slow to be built. Our roadworkers have been on a money haul for years, they could learn alot from overseas. Same with building rail.....to sloooow.!
And stop the treaty, 10,000 claims in the que...this country will never be rich and prosperous especially if the greens and labour stop all progress Shane Jones is trying to make, which incidentally will benefit all kiwis.

Hang on a minute mate, the superannuation scheme in NZ is designed to ensure a small payout to those who paid in over their working life. Let's not forget that many new immigrants who get the same privilage have completed far less time paying in, and if we are splitting hairs some have paid much more than others. If there is a problem with affordability for all then that comes back to those who administer to this scheme and take accountability for any poor performance and lack of funds.
This country is now a joke, it wasn't until it signed up to the offshore masters (IMF UN WHO etc) and we got woke wankers running the place and spending our money of vanity projects and virtue signalling. I havnt heard Mr Peters speak for a while. Damn i have missed this man! Mr Peters, THANK YOU for bringing peoples minds to fixing the root cause of the problems we face. For too many years of my lifetime Governments have been 'fixing' problems by creating taxes for BS and bandaide solutions. Working NZers income is constantly whittled away and sucked up by authorities with clip boards any time we want to make a move to improve OUR LIVES or living conditions. My parents have slogged their guts out over their life time. Now in retirement their bodies are crashing. Alziemers, arthritis, knee replacements, heart conditions. It breaks my heart to see them in this state when they should be bouncing off the walls, exploring the world and relishing this stage of their lives. It is cruel to make our elders work longer for their retirement.

I agree with Winston, that there should be a separation between politics and the judiciary.... the problem is that hasn't been the case for multiple decades at least. I for one strongly suggest an audit of the police/courts typical politically motivated unlawful conduct.
And whilst I heartily agree with the infrastructure first approach, as this has been seriously lacking for multiple decades as well, I can't say that I'd prioritize globalism as much as Winston.... or much at all to be honest. We could be world leaders in a number of ways, but as a country we seem to be looking through a very narcissistically narrow lens, deferring to "authorities" and "experts" that are clearly either totally clueless or as corrupt as you can get.... or both. These "authorities" and "experts" are apparently consequently unable to see the reality of what's right in front of them. Especially those that inhabit "upside-down world" where carbon dioxide and methane "global warming". I'll let you in on a secret; that's the exact opposite of reality. What is being hidden from you, and why? Can you figure that out? Because I know the answers they don't want you to know and it proves that those claiming methane and carbon dioxide are "greenhouse gasses' that cause "global warming", and championing wind, solar, and electric vehicles, are some of the worst criminals and/or most delusional people this world has ever seen.... and that's a pretty low stick to limbo under.
It's curious that people like myself have been correctly predicting where the patterns of behaviour of our leaders (or striking lack thereof) would inevitably take us for a quite some time. And instead of taking good advice, those that would do well to listen to advice for a change, double down on criminally insane, and instead often send some of the most politically corrupt, thuggish, police in the english speaking world to "check people's thinking", like we've been in a socialist dystopian open air prison for a century.... I'm looking at you Labour/Greens and the rest of the politically far/radical left.... and especially the leaders of the politically corrupt and largely lawless NZ police that have, seemingly actively and wilfully, caused the vast majority of gang/syndicate crimes, domestic violence, and "white collar" type crime problems in NZ. Or it could just be the stupidity of stacking the force with officers that obviously have serious clinical level personality dysfunctions.... Yeah, I see how you operate, I'm far from the only one, and it's disgusting to anyone with morals. You might think that some of those assigned leaders would start listening to those that are much better at predicting the outcome of certain actions and decisions than they are. But perhaps it's actually features of the way their organisation functions, rather than flaws in them.
But hey, give it another ten to fifteen years and all of my predictions to date would have played out fully, and this will be a much different country with a completely different working dynamic, by necessity.
    Educate, don't indoctrinate.
