If you died tonight, do you know where you will end up? This is the most important question you will ever ask yourself. The way to find out is if you have obeyed God’s Law, The 10 Commandments. You Shall Not Take the Name of the Lord in Vain. Have you ever used God’s name in place of a bad word? You Shall Not Murder. God tells us if we get angry without cause or hate someone, we are guilty. You Shall Not Commit Adultery. Jesus tells us, whoever looks at anyone to lust after them has already committed adultery with them in their heart. Have you ever looked with lust? You Shall Not Steal. Have you ever taken something that did not belong to you no matter the value? You Shall Not Bear False Witness. Have you ever told a lie, even just one little “white lie?” We can violate God’s Law by attitude or intent. This is just half of The 10 Commandments. We know we will ALL be found guilty and since God is a righteous Judge, He will have to punish us for breaking His Law. That punishment is eternal conscious torment in a place called hell. But God loves us so much that He provided a way to be forgiven for breaking His Law. Jesus Christ lived the only perfect life ever and took our punishment for our sin when He died on the cross. All we have to do is turn from our sins and receive Jesus Christ into our heart and we will have eternal life. This is a FREE gift from God. Once we take our last breath, our eternity is sealed . . . forever.

Donald is a true actor. He wasn't just a movie star. He wasn't someone of so-so talent getting by on his looks and name alone. He was the true working man of the profession, someone who embraced his roles, however inglorious they may have been, and still given it his all. His talent to embody so many different personalities and make each one distinguished is an impossible feat for someone who isn't highly skilled and capable like Donald Sutherland. May he rest in peace.

An underrated actor. We had a house near his in Georgeville, near Magog, Quebec, Canada and saw him a number of times. It's a tiny, tiny, little village, and quite remote, but civilized, and the last place you would expect to see a Hollywood movie star. He had a voice like a foghorn, and a sailboat in the bay. Everyone either didn't know who he was, or left him....and later Kieffer alone. If you google earth it you will see how remote it is. You can pick out the headland and even his large house surrounded by trees, and the Nonsuch moored in the bay. It was rumored that Stallone and Streisand were looking at places there, but we never did see anything of them. That's the great thing about remote areas in Quebec, they are quiet, and everyone respects everyone else's privacy. He had a beautiful Nonsuch sailboat moored under the headland across the lake from our sailing club. He was a fine, fine man, and a fine, fine actor.

Just heard the news of Donald Sutherlands passing. He made a huge impact on film. The first film I saw him in was the Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Always entertaining and humorous as well as a show stealer in all of his works. Rest in Peace 🕊️

I only had one simple encounter with Mr. Sutherland. He called the company I worked with for catering for one of Keifer's birthday parties.
I picked up the phone and an absolutely unmistakable voice said "Hello, this is Don Sutherland, ....."
I professionally avoided my fan girl moment. He was so kind and gracious in our conversation. He was always a favourite for me.
