I wish I could ONLY come to the USA for the Christmas shopping because all of the decorations and stores filled with decorations I see online…….it is not fair 😢
I would have been afraid putting 🕯 candles on a Christmas 🎄 those days there weren't too many ornaments like the ones are in the stores now. My mom did have a Pine 🌲 tree right in front of the house. We use to collect the pinecone, wrapped in aluminum foil paper put ribbons and used them as an ornaments. Make beautiful ribbon bows and put them too on the Christmas 🎄 and my father will always manages to go to the city and buys the spheres, and those were the days, and everybody was happy.
I agree with you! I don’t like ribbon streaming down or wrapping it around the tree. This is lovely and I plan to do it this year. One question. When should I add the bows? Before or after hanging ornaments? ❤
I would do it before because when you attach them, you’re going to move the branches and be stuffing your hands in there and it will shake the ornaments.
Reminds me of when I was first living on my own and had little money and no car to get decorations for my little potted tree. So i used ribbon I already had, and Christmas cards to decorate it. Dollar Tree has lovely ribbons.
I don’t like the ribbon cascading down through the trees either. I don’t like these very thick full trees as I like to have ornaments at different depths on the branches. I do like this method though.

This is a PERFECT IDEA and so pretty on the tree! Very different than streaming the ribbon down or around the Christmas tree🎄🎄🎄
