Liverpool's finishing still as bad as ever. Mid table this season if they can't put the ball in the back of the net from all the chances created.
They only conceded 1 shot all game pretty decent if you telling me for a first game of pre season and the only shot from them was that goal from 30 yards out
Losing first preseason game is a bad omen for the new head coach. A win would have been a good start. As a fan am not happy
Passing looks a lot quicker , less backwards play , unluckily to lose that , more positives than negatives there.

Anyone worried about this needs to give their heads a wobble, a new set up snd style of play doesn't just get built overnight but its really impressive that they seem very accustomed to it already, its only gonna get better with time
That being said I fully back and trust Arne, and I'm more convinced now after watching this
@@DaveLock999 You should be confident. I can assure you that he will improve and get the best out of all your players with time. We saw here in Rotterdam how quickly players developed under his leadership and how well he integrated his vision at the club. Good luck to you all.
Result aside, I'm liking this new way of playing! some nice movement from the players and some slick passing , quick, high tempo, exciting to see how this develops!!

The result doesn't matter. I am really satisfied with what I see. The players need to ease in to Slot's fast passing ball movement style before they can do it against tougher opposition.
I remember when we used to lose games like this under Kenny in the 80s. Pre season is to sharpen up guys, give some players chances etc. Season starts mid August, not in friendlies.

It's not about the manager but rather a physical matter... we're so confident against these sides that we turn sloopy out of nowhere... that goal was pure lack of awareness and attention... and salah needs to stop missing easy goals... I won't talk about elliot miss, better not see this again...

Me too to be honest, considering it was the first game under Slot and we played a lot of youngsters, we had some good moments and we didn't seem too disjointed. When I saw we'd lost I was concerned but seeing how we played was a little reassuring

Just what we needed...rapid passing, one touch, quick movement into space, knocking the ball around, lots of shots. Can't wait for the season to start. If Spain can do it this way, so can the Reds.

after watching this highlight, I am not so disappointed with the loss as I see a lot of positives from the game, such as fast and smooth play, not too defensive and ready to create chances.
OBVIOUSLY, we could probs work better on finishing those chances being made.

Not trying discredit klopp but he did somewhat of a number on most of the lads finishing since firmino got dropped. There was a bit of a structure with Bobby that helped salah and mane finish their dinner but since then I feel like klopp has left the lads To decide what they want to do with the ball in the final 3rd. Slots tactics require more choreography and structure which kind of shocks the players and hopefully he straightens these players out

Was gloomy for the defeat but what i see here is enough to give me a new hope. This season I don't expect much. Support for a strong season finish.

your players gonna look extra fit, with constantly high pressure on the opponent side of the field forcing them to make mistakes (good or bad days your gonna see players giving 200% but being so fit they barely get injuries)
