what i love about Eddie is yes he knows hes the best but his underlying empathy that he doesn't in no way look down on your average joe in the street or believe hes some kind of great but hes see's other strongmen as his competitors and he know in that field he is the best. i have no doubt he would open the door for a old lady or man and would show total respect for any decent folk in the street. yes he puts the tough guy image on but thats all part and parcel of his persona he is a Stoke lad through and through, working class to the core and thats why i love this bloke so much. well done Eddie!!!!

Personally, I wouldn't want to see Strongman Live on TV. But I would LOVE to see it Live in this country (UK). It should be almost like a weekend festival so in between the events, people have other stuff to do and the athletes get their adequate rest. It should be like the Arnold Classic but strictly Strongman and with an outdoor presence. Hell, people should even be able to camp like they do at the Goodwood Festival. Much as I loved being there for Europe's Strongest Man the year Eddie pulled the 500, being indoors didn't quite feel right and having it condensed into a few hours wasn't enough of an event.
I've followed and loved Strongman since I was a teenager and have loads of ideas on this (WSM organisation, call me...Lol). The only real problem with doing it in the UK is guaranteeing good weather of course, even in the summer
