Ive felt animal hearts that beat really fast cause they are small, my heart had to have been around 200bpm. A serious injury will put a strongman out of business for weeks, which the producers could not afford as the recording schedule for this show was pretty tight. Eddie and Brian talked about it on their personal RUclips channels. When Eddie tore his bicep a lot of his worry was about what this would mean for the show. The fact that he got this injury obviously shows there is actual risk involved, but not as much as we are lead to believe through this overdramatisation. Every single time they handle a large amount of weight something goes seriously wrong, which must either be staged or made to look more serious than it actually is, as neither the producers nor the strongmen themselves would agree to take such a big risk. Personally I wish they would've left all the unnecessary drama out as it makes their impressive feats feel insincere. Alas this is simply something American viewers are used to.
@@waasar nothing went seriously wrong in this though😂 he literally said he was struggling to breathe and said that the piece going over his chest felt really tight making it hard that isn't an injury that is the harness being too tight making it difficult for him to breathe..he was literally fine after they unclipped the harness and gave him some oxygen..injury wise so far all I have seen was oberst get a minor injury in a lift and he was fine a few days after and same for the older guy (i forgot his name just now) and then this were he needed a second to catch his breathe...also brian has been injured and skipped out on a few of these events proving they aren't faking it because if they were his injury wouldn't matter because it would be fake anyways..these guys know the risks and outcomes and they have been putting themselves open to these risks for years and years of their lives you really think they are gonna start faking things they have been doing for years simply because it's a TV show? They have done these things for years it isn't any different they make their livings off of doing this stuff and they know the risks

Huge respect to the ol’ man for wanting to keep going !! Just even feeling like you can’t breathe is very scary!! I know exactly how he felt in that moment and it is the worst feeling in the world... your heart is pumping at an incredible rate trying to feed oxygen to your body and brain, but your lungs don’t have the capacity... very very scary!! He could’ve easily passed out at anytime during or after that event.. and the stubborn ol’ man just wanted to keep going... that’s true determination, and grit!! Big props to Rick on this..👍 The only reason Eddie won is because he has short stubby legs and can’t take full grown man size steps 😎😂😬... JK Eddie.. please don’t kill me thru the internet 😎..
