Hopefully, you guys enjoyed the show tonight. Have an amazing Thanksgiving. As always questions and comments, let me know below. For those who want to get the main concept of the video here you go :). It is sad that Intel's presence will be reduced in the Folsom area but Folsom will still remain one of the fastest growing and one of the most desirable cities to live in CALIFORNIA.
To clarify, Intel is only selling the property, but it isn't leaving Folsom. They will lease back multiple buildings at the current site. It's mostly a way for Intel to save money since the current property is underutilized. It's still sad, as its a reminder that Intel's presence in Folsom is much smaller than it was a few years ago.
Intel is always so vague about what the plan is for their campus. I’ve heard about four different stories about what’s happening and it’s getting a little annoying.
they have always been vague about their plans. I think Folsom is more than just where is Intel is located and has been for awhile now. Folsom is amazing and with all the new growth in Folsom Ranch I do not see it stopping.
Wish Intel would be a little bit more forthcoming with the information. Every new station that I’m watching is telling me a different story. Happy Thanksgiving, Mark.
I've heard a bunch of different stories about their future plans but either way Folsom is still an amazing place to live and will continue to be one. 3 more schools coming :)
Intel has been there forever and it’s sad to see them go. I wonder if more tech companies will be coming to Sacramento? Now for everybody in Sacramento, the snow is amazing here in Tahoe. Hope to see you soon.
Yup! all and all I wish Intel's presence was larger here but will prices drop in Folsom...Doubt it! Folsom is still a top spot to like in California :)
Your housing market will eventually be impacted by what is happening in the US and global economy. Folsom lake is not as beautiful as it used to be due to drought. California home insurance is high and getting higher, making it harder for people to get mortgages. Mass layoffs are happening across the tech sector, not just Intel. Mass layoffs are also happening in banking and car industry. Luxury homes will suffer the most. It's wishful thinking that people will rent instead of sell.
Your spreading bad info. Intel has never announced it is leaving the Folsom site. Yes the site is for sale but that does not mean they and the jobs are all leaving Folsom like you make it sound.

heading up snowboarding in a few weeks! Cannot wait! #tahoebound
Intel is bleeding cash. Tough for them to recover. If ever.
I’ve been reading about Intel for a while and I figured this was an inevitable.
They are also building a new medical center, right off hwy 50.
Sad to see Intel go. Wish we had a tech presence here in the region.
Didn’t know you were from San Jose. I moved here from Campbell.
I grew up in Marin and then worked in SF for the dot com era. It was crazy seeing so many millionaires on paper.
Intel need to go. Folsom is getting unaffordable.
Wow!

I think Folsom should try to attract other tech companies like Cisco and kick out Intel.
Folsom will be fine. You can't beat the schools there.

not going to affect Folsom at all. Fluff piece.
