Thank you for sharing how you build your frames. We live in Zone 10a and we wouldn't be able to use plastic for very long in our cold season. I think I'm going to try using frost cloth for the cooler months and then shade cloth for the really hot months. We can get up to 115 degrees F here.
Great idea. We get up to over 100 here for days on end. If you are looking to save money, on hoop houses this bug you can use dark non fitted sheets that thrift stores sell. We have used them a few times if we see them on sale and work great. So many commercial shade clothes are so large and that is an alternative. Hope this helps. Thanks again for the feedback.
