I am genuinely confused that people were angry that Akuma wasn't on the base roster. Like dude, he WAS NEVER in a vanilla SF game's base roster. Not for SF2, not for SF3, vanilla SF4, or even SF5. He was always officially released only on revisions or DLCs. Capcom knows that Akuma sells copies. They ain't ever gonna just give him on release, lol.

As someone who has been playing basically every single Capcom fighter since the OG Marvel vs Capcom, SF6 is miles ahead of SF4 and 5. The only SF game that's better is 3 and Alpha 2. You could argue SF2 just because it's so iconic but I'm still taking SF6 over those games. Can't wait to get demolished by Akuma 700 times in a row as an AKI main.

A girl you go on a first date with who doesn't play video games in the slightest but used to mash buttons with her brothers in street fighter II back in the day will at least know who Ryu is. But ask her what "The Raging Demon" is or even who Akuma is and she'll think you're talking about an anime or some new show on Netflix

This is hype, Capcom having a Tekken charater in Street Fighter and Bandai Namco excluding him from Tekken 8 for this amazing crossover is very noble of them.
Street Fighter 6 is Best Fighting Game This Gen. I rather deal with the SF6 mechanics than the armor and heat from Tekken. Tekken 8 was overrated from the start
I know I’m in a very small minority but aside from the graphics i don’t like sf6. I have the game but i don’t play it. I just feel like SF5 does almost everything better. And what’s with the paint spewing all over the place during combat? Sf6 is cheeks imo and I’m not just some entry level player I’m super diamond ranked in sf5 so I’m not a pro but I’m not a novice either i just play for fun
