This had the 90`s boss battles vibe for sure. Cheap moves, better supers... i`m glad some modern fighting games are bringing back that "Impossible" level bosses back on the menu.

@@johnnymonsterrrr I think Capcom used all the moves they created for him, but didn't figure out how to balance it. Just cutting them out of the game would be a waste.

Maybe he was always hungry, and all random encounters with Shin Akuma in different games in the past were coincidental moments after he ate a rice ball. Then this game finally allowed us to eat mid match.

Hey jwong , With akuma , if you back taunt then hold down and mash all buttons at the same time you get access to 2 new supers , ( Let akuma eat the entire rice ball )

I had an experience like this fighting SiRN Akuma in the Battle Hub. I did decently at first but then the Satsui no Hado arose within SiRN Akuma and he decimated me. I definitely got Shin Akuma vibes from that fight.

you can unlock his moves if you mash downwards taunt untill akuma eats the riceball.
it takes a long ass time and there is 0% chance it will happen in a serious game, but it is possible.
You can actually play Shin Akuma in the game during battle.

That Akuma IS playable Justin. His special moves and double air fireballs can be enabled by doing his sit down taunt, and then inputting down + taunt from 0 meter. Once he fills his whole meter, you get all his Shin Akuma moves.
Personally, I think it should actually be doable in a real match if you manage to stun your opponent while you have at least two meter. Once it's done it should stay for the entire match, not just the round. It's fun, and I could see it happening once in 500,000 matches, but that 500,001th match would be dope af.

Last night, i played like 50 times against Shin akuma and only won 2 rounds 😢
Akuma level 2 is basically vanilla SF4 Seth Ultra all over again. On another note, Zangief is surprisenly well equipped to deal with him, and just because of lariat cheese.
When he locks in, he wins. When I lock in, I do the same stuff I was doing.

Shin Akuma is playable. Do the taunt where you sit down then do down and taunt again to eat a riceball. Works in actual matches, and gives you the double air fireball and the bonus supers.

The supers that SiAn Akuma does can be done with regular Akuma. The caviat is that you have to stand still and let him sit for 30 sec. Then that super is a level 2 when you perform it. It is a secret super, but can be done.

Good to see it's not just me lol. Even the greats get grinded. Sirn Akuma is nuts. I wonder if we will get Sirn other characters like Zangeif with OD lariat that acts like his super or Sirn Ed where flickers go farther and cause crumples lol
Seeing Justin struggle too make me feel better about my 25 lost streak against this input reading MF.
(Only times I beat him was in Avatar Battle, his AI is waaay easier, dude just full screen teleporting in your attacks)
