So nice to see a tour of my home town, grew up in Boca, yes so many wealthy people here, it’s almost like a bubble. Seeing kids get BMW’s as their first car and going into 9+ million dollar houses. Boca is a bubble and I didn’t think I was so privileged until I left Boca and went to college in Tampa.
yeah growing up in Naples $70,000 cars in the parking lot of my high school since EVERY kid could afford a car only senior could drive to school and i had to ride the bus home. Boca is nice town... seams similar to Naples in many ways
FLORIDA HOOD VLOGS no joke one girl showed up in a G wagon 4x4 squared at my public high school, then the next day she showed up in a silver Ferrari 488 Spider, but I later found out those were her brother’s cars. Her brother was an NFL player so that made sense.
I edited the entire video on ADOBE premiere. It took over 8 hours 😐I usually edit on Windows Movie Maker than transfer it to Adobe to edit colors and volumes. I must say, I DON'T KNOW how much BETTER it made this video when it comes to quality I will leave that for you guys to decide.. but it also crashed while rendering due to me watching RUclips on another screen LOL (my mistake) It takes every inch of brain power to render videos on premiere not sure why windows movie maker being so basic is so good at rendering long videos.
I appreciate all your hardwork & it's only gonna make your videos better in the long run SIMPLY because you are trying to get better.....I follow another RUclipsr who does driving videos & though his channel is big he shoots the same since he started 3 years ago....I just dont understand how a person is satisfied with putting out subpar quality videos with a cheap camera & just mounts it on his dash & press record....That recipe ANYBODY can do.....currently I'm in the practice stage on my channel, I have few subscribers but I'm working on my quality FIRST....the absolute best for driving videos is without a doubt a device that records 4k@60fps & preferably with a 1 inch sensor at minimum...When I start posting my true video pieces after editing it will come with what I'm calling " true to life ride alongs".....so far all driving videos are cameras mounted on the dash or a fixed location & gives a sort of tunnel vision for the viewer as if we have on a neck brace & cannot look right or left but only forward.....I'm experiencing on how to make driving videos more immersive for the viewer ,in my opinion it first has to start with superb image quality at 4k@60fps & then great stabilization among many other things....keep grinding it will only make you better .👍👍👍👍

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS yeah, it's just too easy to mount a cam to the dash & hit record...smh...ESPECIALLY when your using a super cheap camera....I mean at this point when you are that big why not invest in a GOOD DSLR like FreewayBrent or J Utah & give all your subscribers some high quality to look at....I mean at what point do you say Man my videos look kinda elementary and I'm going all over the United states & giving all my subscribers subpar videos from a camera that puts out below average quality....SMH....at least invest in an iPhone 11 Pro because then you will have 4k@60fps video & much better images at night.....I'm aiming for quality like J Utah, I admire the fact that he dropped the big $$$$ dollars so that his viewers can appreciate & enjoy watching his content....its nothing wrong with starting out with below average equipment BUT come on !!!!!! I dont do this for a living yet BUT I have higher quality videos than he has, all he does is go to alot of places BUT constantly refuses to increase his quality. @@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS no way man....those 360 cams are only $400 & J Utah uses a high dollar full frame sensor DSLR & has it mounted on a good stabilizer to minimize vibration from driving & he shoots 4k....that's what I'm aiming for , I'm not gonna re-do my channel & come out with Mickey mouse quality....I'm practicing & experimenting with what I have now & when I do re-do my channel I'm not just throwing out anything, if I'm not satisfied with a video I just delete it like I did yesterday....I deleted 6 videos I shot yesterday because some came out a little too dark in the daytime because of the gopro hero7 blacks small image sensor....I'm saving for a full frame DSLR like J Utah & some others are using ....The GX5 is also great in lowlight with it's big sensor...Gopros shoot too wide for driving videos but you can go to 2.7k for linear & eliminate the fishbowl look a little. I have a Sony AX53 & I'm thinking about mounting it on a small tripod & use that because it has a 20X zoom with excellent image quality.

Hey Jose, just found your "new" channel. So glad you came to my home town (after fleeing NY). My main complaint is it's getting too developed & populated. Traffic can be horrendous. When I came here there were about 60K people. But that said, still worth the move for me. Thanks for the kind words.

I live in West Boca (about 6 miles in from the ocean) and outside the city limits where things are nice but not as nice as within the city limits to be sure.Some of those canals you refer to are actually deep water access canals that lead to the intra-coastal waterway and thus the ocean.For boaters, especially larger boats (and there are many!),these houses are a must to keep their boats right behind their homes so they can just walk out back and take a quick cruise to the ocean...and from there the sky's the limit.It's part of the Florida lifestyle.
There are many expensive neighborhoods in south Florida but IMO Boca Raton is the most beautiful. It's very green and lush, clean and well maintained. The people of Boca take good care of their city. Enjoyed your perspectives. FYI - in Puerto Rico, raton is mouse, rata is rat, so Boca Raton would be translated Mouse's Mouth. Not what comes to mind when driving through Boca lol
You only went to one housing Authority, down the road was for the low income for the senior citizens but if you went down the road you would of seen the struggling families. Off of Palmarto on Second Ave AND if you would of gone west to Sandel foot to the trailer park you would seen something another part of BOCA RATON

And frankly, some people would rather look down on someone else to feel better about themselves. But, being better than others is not obtained by defaming the essence of others but by improving your own.
At 18:54 you mentioned the places not being as detailed when the people go up north. In Boca the people usually hire landscapers and people to maintain the home inside and out, that’s why it is very nice even if nobody lives there year round.
At 9:35 I’m pretty sure you were looking right at the Camden Apartments. If so, you were looking straight at my old apartment for 7 months before I moved to the condo I’m in with my mom now. I’m pretty sure it is Camden though, especially if there is a flanigan’s to the right past the next street. The building features on the top also line up perfectly to im like 90 percent sure that it is Camden, and that’s where I used to live over 3 years ago.

Thanks. Look, to be honest.. there are GOOD places for African Americans and there are BAD places, the same can be said about everyone else. Personally, I don't see Orlando as a good place. But that is just my opinion. And yes Miami, even the rich people cant afford it LOL. I don't know if home ownership is on your mind, but if it is Marion Oaks new houses are affordable and plenty of people there trying to do better. it's not "perfect place" but if income is a concern you need somewhere affordable. There are NICE areas for African Americans but they too are expensive. Seams like you want a big city. Have you visited Jacksonville? St Augustine is a nice town and has a small African American community. To me, Tampa and JAX are the best cities for african americans, you know where people look happy and are jogging not outside some apartment hanging out. JAX is a healthy city for African Americans so is tampa. St pete, TO ME seams like racial tensions are high. OCALA is a very nice town too where blacks seam happy and are very friendly granted its a small country town. As far as racial relations goes, Okeechobee seamed nice but its a small lil town. Overall, for me, If I were african american I would live in JAX or TAMPA over Orlando. I mean i know it dont sound pretty but in JAX black people are jogging in ORLANDO hanging out outside an corner store.. Atlanta is an awesome area as well. just dont end up in a bad hood.. there ARE great areas for your people.. check out OCALA, marion oaks, BOCA is nice too but expensive. I know nothing about art, but I have a strong feeling I could create statues like the ones in Boca. I could make a fortune! Obviously not a lot of that goes into them.
You also said that you thought under normal circumstances that the streets are packed with people and the traffic is horrible, but Ive never experienced traffic in Boca (I’ve been living here for 4 years and lived in downtown for 7 months), and during summer, everyone from up north that doesn’t live here full time is already gone so there are even less people.

FLORIDA HOOD VLOGS yeah I guess so, I’ve been living in boca for four years and the only time I’ve experienced my idea of traffic is when President trump came over and caused the highway to be stuck in a gridlock for a while. But maybe I don’t consider things traffic because I was born in Miami but grew up mostly in Fort Lauderdale with a frequent commute to Miami to see family. That is what I consider traffic
I like Boca! But cant find a box to afford except a refrigerator box. Social insecurity too low, doesnt keep up with inflation! It's hard to imagine there are so many people living the good life.
Don't be fooled, it's mostly a farce of "keeping up with the Jones" syndrome while going into credit card debt. We are here ONLY because our family dragged us here as kids. As soon as my own kids get to college, we are OUT of here! LOL. Nice place to maybe visit for a couple of days, but that's really it. No real hiking/ biking/ nature, unless you like the beach, and more beach, and more beach. . . after a week it's a bore.
So Boca Raton looks so beautiful ...but then I looked at a Realty site... the price looks affordable until you read the fine print..you have to join a country club for thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. So it's basically not affordable unless you are kind of wealthy compared to me

I disagree. The vast majority do not judge people on the color of their skin anymore at all. Everyone no matter what skin color has the same chance in this country. It’s income that divides us and our upbringing that sadly has a huge on our lives. Boca is full of very rich people that have moved from Manhattan area to here.
You are right about income gap and upbringing thats where the problem lies now. Wealth takes decades to transfer hands so dont expect an overnight change. But people really are bad towards blacks its a judgmental think they do sometimes without even noticing
took me 19 years to move to Boca I got to Florida when I was 20 years old. I'm happy here

To be honest small towns are more welcoming than big cities now days. Country songs today are about moving into a big city... so.. its coming. CAMDEN COUNTY, i know the news what happened there but its a good place right outside of JAX. but youc ant live in GA and work in FL. its illegal. (kinda) I hear the state capital has some prosperous African americans communities. Thomasville GA, Tallahasee, my friend lives in CAIRO GA hes black and that community is tight good people but.. small town.. kinda boring. orangeburg SC is nice too. ATL is a good option. You also said that you thought under normal circumstances that the streets are packed with people and the traffic is horrible, but Ive never experienced traffic in Boca (I’ve been living here for 4 years and lived in downtown for 7 months), and during summer, everyone from up north that doesn’t live here full time is already gone so there are even less people.
All florida is seasonal. Ive been stuck on 95 in boca in the last year or two

FLORIDA HOOD VLOGS yeah I guess so, I’ve been living in boca for four years and the only time I’ve experienced my idea of traffic is when President trump came over and caused the highway to be stuck in a gridlock for a while. But maybe I don’t consider things traffic because I was born in Miami but grew up mostly in Fort Lauderdale with a frequent commute to Miami to see family. That is what I consider traffic

Don't be fooled, it's mostly a farce of "keeping up with the Jones" syndrome while going into credit card debt. We are here ONLY because our family dragged us here as kids. As soon as my own kids get to college, we are OUT of here! LOL. Nice place to maybe visit for a couple of days, but that's really it. No real hiking/ biking/ nature, unless you like the beach, and more beach, and more beach. . . after a week it's a bore.
So Boca Raton looks so beautiful ...but then I looked at a Realty site... the price looks affordable until you read the fine print..you have to join a country club for thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. So it's basically not affordable unless you are kind of wealthy compared to me

What about the hoods in west boca? That's where the real hood of Boca is. Go see sandalfoot in West Boca and you will what the hood of boca looks like.
Sandalfoot is not part of boca city limits. Houses still have pools out there. Will check it out some day

I have really stepped away form the channel's main theme to bring you guys other content like this. This is a wacky channel.. with lots of sarcastic and off the wall stuff my friend. I disagree. The vast majority do not judge people on the color of their skin anymore at all. Everyone no matter what skin color has the same chance in this country. It’s income that divides us and our upbringing that sadly has a huge on our lives. Boca is full of very rich people that have moved from Manhattan area to here.
You are right about income gap and upbringing thats where the problem lies now. Wealth takes decades to transfer hands so dont expect an overnight change. But people really are bad towards blacks its a judgmental think they do sometimes without even noticing
