Thanks for this, I have a SATA to USB coming in the mail today as I got a 500gb ssd for christmas. Installed the freeware with and selected the Pro trial version. Never changed hardware on a laptop but I'm sure it should be fairly easy. Might upgrade the 8gb ram to a 16gb sodimm eventually too, but it's so expensive right now (around $200). Glad I got this PC years ago honestly, it still performs pretty well and I know switching to ssd will make quite a bit difference on it's own.
How does this improve general performance, besides the startup, I noticed this Dell Inspiron 13 is always running the disk. Any Performance estimate percentage wise?

Is your laptop stuttering after upgrading to an ssd? Mine is stuttering after installing an SSD. Don't understand why it's doing it.
