    It’s hilarious how many times the characters just run into each other. I know the plot needs it, and when you watch it one episode a week, it doesn’t stick out. But I recently binged the whole thing and the amount of times they just bump into characters is hilarious. In a city of 9 million people they bump into each other more than if they lived in a village of 300. This show really was a fantasy more than anything else.

    I was so embarrassed for Carrie in this scene. The way she was dressed vs how Natasha was dressed. Big was such a player.

    • @hayaglamazonluxe
      @hayaglamazonluxe 16 дней назад +14

      The way she was dressed says a lot about Bigs perception of who he always wanted to marry. He definitely met Natasha in Paris while dating Carrie, and he loved how Natasha looked. He never loved Carrie - ever.

    • @ritodecorazonesangrando
      @ritodecorazonesangrando 10 дней назад +3

      @@hayaglamazonluxe but in the end it was Carrie who he chose to pursue to Paris just to bring her back, he chose her as the one. he had two wives in the series, the editor and natasha; both big succesful women and what you would say that are the ideal women to get married to; yet he chose Carrie. He didn't find love in the women that he married no matter how perfect they were. He chose the complicated, unstable and overly emotional blonde girl with the messy hair who loved him to pieces. it took him some time to realise it, but he did.

    • @hayaglamazonluxe
      @hayaglamazonluxe 4 дня назад +1

      @@ritodecorazonesangrando Very interesting but did he choose her really or did he not want to die alone and have her always chasing him? His final act proves the point of this Hamptons clip. By giving Natasha money from his will, it kind of shows how much Carrie was never his true first choice but merely the option that will not bow out gracefully.
      If you keep going back to a man and never show a backbone, of course he can seem like he loves you but he doesn't. Carrie was just always there so he found it easy to go back to his option but she was never his first choice 🤷🏾‍♀️

    • @ritodecorazonesangrando
      @ritodecorazonesangrando 3 дня назад

      @@hayaglamazonluxe Completely disagree. The money left on his will to Natasha isn't really that important. Think about it this way: He married Natasha thinking she was the comfortable and safe option; nice young girl, money and the looks. Yet the connection they had wasn't even on the same level as the one he had with Carrie. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Natasha and Big's marriage is the meeting with Carrie and Aidan on that one episode during the series; showing how different they were and how they disagreed on every single thing. How can a marriage be perfect when you can't even agree on the same furniture? The money he left Natasha on his will is a gesture that Big has as a way to apologize on how everything went down ever since they came back from Paris during the series and how she ended up catching Carrie on her own apartment. You can't forget the important fact that he's a man. It's more like throwing money at the problem instead of just trying to apologize like a normal human being.

    • @ritodecorazonesangrando
      @ritodecorazonesangrando 3 дня назад

      @@hayaglamazonluxe He could've chosen to make things work with Natasha; he just wanted Carrie. He wanted her when she was with Aidan and he waited for her even when she was with the russian, until he went to chase her to Paris. If Natasha was his first choice; why did he leave? If Natasha was his first choice; why didn't he come back for her even later in the series/movies? At the end of the day, the small portion of his money going towards her it's not important. If that's really important, then Carrie was left with everything else that he had. Let's say he had already signed his will; he left her everything anyway.

      Exactly. He never 👎 liked being in public with Carrie - before or after marriage . Also he had no problem with a big wedding for Natasha . This happened multiple times: Natasha and Carrie bump into each other with the former looking so put together and the latter wearing God-knows-what.
    And yes, Carrie's outfit here fits the theme, but Charlotte and Miranda managed to dress classy while still looking right for the event, so that's not even an excuse. Carrie just has atrocious fashion sense.
