When you produce the biggest and best show on the planet this is how it is behind the scenes 🤯🤯
can you imagine how much pressure that pyro crew are under when the boss, Herr Linderman is a pyro expert and pretty much wrote the pyro book for Rammstein, but at the same time if you are a pyro expert, there is only one band you want to work for..
16:20 Imagine being alone in a stadium with Rammstein's stage, and getting to mess with all the lighting.
@@Rammstein45 ahhh man...I would soooo much fun!
@@ZachLagrandeur Right?! :D
One concert in Germany took place about 20 km from where I lived and you could still hear it over a hill in between and see the light show flickering in the distance. You could clearly experience the sound level at which Rammstein travels.🤯😵💫🤘
Producer: Till, you want more Audio or more Lights or more Pyro???
Till: YES!!!! 🤘
Nicolais Sabottka has been working very closely with Till for years to plan and create the pyro effects for the show. He once said in a newspaper interview that they need 1,000 liters (265 gallons) of light gasoline (a type of kerosene) per show.
Imagine being the designer behind the stage and fitting in all the things it requires. I read an article from a danish music magzine, where the journalist said that the stage looked like a Apolyptic Valhalla😅
You could also do that with "Rammstein in America", the documentary that I and others suggested to you!
@@arnodobler1096 literally the best documentary about Rammstein
@@deboraapollonio7938 true 🤘
@@deboraapollonio7938Habe ich mir vor kurzem auch noch mal angesehen. 😂
Seeing Rammstein live inspired me to pursue a career as an event technician. It's a real crunch sometimes, with long days and alot of pressure. And we're just doing a fraction of what a production like Rammstein is rocking up with. It's a lot of work that goes into making even a small show happen.
Thats amazing and all is so great and this is so great too ! They doing all for Rammstein what they need ! All people in this Team are realy wonderfull ! Your reaction is top ! Greatings and love from germany Eva ❤❤🥰❤❤🤣❤❤
That´s really great work. Incredible.
You can see how much Rammstein appreciates the stadium crew by the fact that they continued to pay the core team in the two years when no concerts could take place due to Corona. If each of the 150 crew members only receives 3,000 euros a month, that's 10.8 million euros that the band has paid out of its own pocket. (I assume that they will have received some of the money back from the state via the so-called corona aid, which is an advantage if you pay taxes in Germany.)
There's a new documentary called "Rammstein - Herzeleid" as well. :)
I understand that Rammstein produce their tours themselves. They own several companies. Actually, you are right when asking whether the audience pay for the shows via their ticket fees.
Nicolais Sabottka's company would not exist today without Rammstein. His company has grown together with Rammstein's shows.
5-7mio€ per show they get from the tickets (without merch)... Production costs I've heard are around €3-4m per venue.... so sometimes they play 2-4 times at a venue.... so I think it's lucrative :)
2 days Oostende is around 12million euro (100.000 visitors) see the places and how many times they sell out...
I don't think your final question can be answered in a general way. Some bands have their own labels, others are with labels in the contract. Some have several labels depending on the country where the performance and their music are marketed. I think especially with Rammstein, the show is the reason for the success. Where other bands are mainly successful with music, Rammstein is a combination of music, show and polarization. How this is organized internally with the payment depends on the contract. Percentage of the profit or a fixed amount per capita. In addition to ticket sales, there are also sound carriers, merch and performances such as interviews, etc. Thats what i guess
I agree. My attention for Rammstein was first because of the reputation of their incredible live shows. After, I've discovered their music et deep meanings of their lyrics. The ticket is more between 150 -200 euros, revenues are also coming from merchandising and .... food et drinks during concerts. I've never regretted my 180euros. That's why, a concert is sold out in a few minutes. Provide quality and success will follow.
I think Rammstein makes a lot of money from their double shows. In 2024 they played a row of 4 times in Dresden, 2 times in Nijmegen and Belgium, 5 times in Gelsenkirchen, 3 times in Frankfurt and more. During this tour they played 30 shows on 16 different locations. So for 14 shows they didn't have to break down, move and build up.
2 days Oostende is around 12million euro (100.000 visitors) - let's say 25.000 people in a stadium as dresden times 4 is same amount; 24million euro on tickets alone for 2 locations... So the cost for the show and crew is payed by the fans.. some of the 100+ (or 500+) million each year they bring in goes to the band, the label and production costs and there still be profit left in the end..
I read that a lot of money the band makes, the band themselves chose to put the majority of it back into the band
Th y really really want to give us the best possible Experience.
you need the best who make it possible
👍

This is Germans !!!
as far as i know till ownes 14 million €. the 390 millions you mentioned before are way too much.
now you can see where most of the money goes to. they treat their employees very well.
if i had 14 mil. € i had enough for me. i can eat one steak at a time. i guess RAMMSTEIN has the same opinion. they were born and raised in socialism and although they didn´t like the lack of freedom - STEIN AUF STEIN
is a metaphore - they adopted some of the principals. no greed, no exploitation of labour.
real socialism is not worse than capitalism in the current form. us deep state is a nightmare for mankind.
I've heard other sums there.
But, it doesn't bother me, they have worked hard for everything. They started very small and were really poor.
