Great video Matt! I also have a 224 Valkyrie, mine is a gas gun I built. I'm shooting 75gr. BTHP. Matt have try CFE223 in yours? I have not tried heavier bullets than 77gr. Like you the range we shoot at only goes out 567yrs. I had to laugh when I notice the 100 range in the back ground. I love ringing steel at 567yrs!!! Maybe I'll run into you out some time!!!
I have tried CFE223. I had better results with the BL-C(2) with mine overall. BUT, with my Dad's gas gun, CFE223 had the best results for his. I have another video coming out next week for this series. I actually have acquired some 77gr and might be switching from the 88's. Stay tuned for that.
What are your thoughts on the uintah actions? I’m debating getting one. Bolt and triggers are my hold up for now. Thoughts? I like the modularity though.
Overall, I love the setup. The only thing I want to make different is the bolt handle. I do not think it is long enough. When racking a round in the chamber, I frequently grate my knuckles on the scope turret. Aside from that, no complaints at all. The trigger that they send with is not bad either. It is not too hard of a pull but it is not the lightest trigger either. With that being said, you can use other tiggers with the setup. The provide a list of those triggers on their website and in the user's manual that comes with the upper as well.

Cfe 223 worked best for me in my 24” bolt gun.
I have tried CFE 223 in mine and it just like other powders better.
