I have a large garden/small orchard and live in a high desert area. Our irrigation well static level is less than 10’ from surface so we have little lift required. We bought a RPS 400+system this year when they were on sale. We trenched over 500’ and installed 1.25” main pipe with 1” feeder coming from it in 6 sections. We installed the RPS system using our own solar panels. I added a 20 gallon pressure tank set at 35psi. I set the tank full controler to kick off when the pump gets to 60 psi. It comes back on at 30 psi. We use drip tape to deliver water to our plants with time controllers allowing us to water every day for individual requirements. The system works great and we use the excess water to water our lawn. So far our regular power bill has gone down over $100 per month since we no longer use our AC pump to irrigate everything. RPS was great for information even using our own solar panels. I highly recommend using their system.
Hi William. I live in Canada. We have cattle. We just got a 5" well dug. It is 18ft deep with 60gal/min recovery. I am curious how many gallon per minute you would estimate your RPS 400 will pump at that depth. Our static water level 5.5 feet down. Thanks in advance. I am new to solar water.
@@whiteface5055 I’ve never checked the gpm but it will keep a 5/8” garden hose running full. So probably 10-20 gallons per minute. This company has quite a few pumps in our Midwest for watering cattle on the prairie.
Thanks for your informstion sir! I have my solar pump installed in my farm but I'm not getting enough pressure to felt the ponds according. I've installed some several 6pieces 330w panels for a 1.12hp machine but not still getting it sir or is it a matter of More additional panels to elevate more power for pressure. Thanks for your time and anticipation for your response
Yes, if it is what is called a "3-wire" pump. A 3-wire pump will have a starter box at the surface. If you are unsure, take some pictures and we can help evaluate!
About 3-5 hours, but it all depends on well depth and number of panels you need set up with the system. Larger systems may take longer, you'll need to dig holes and place poles for the scalable ground mount and then let the concrete cure overnight
What kind of Pump do I need to Pump up to 650ft deep and get upto 4000 gallons/day and 20,000 gallons/day respectively. Can I communicate you through other medium like email or WhatsApp preferably. I am in Nigeria and have jobs to try your product.

Hi, can I use my current 240v AC well pump I already have in the well for your kit?

What type of solar well pump can you use for a 150ft deep, for a thousand trees with drip irrigation?
Great video
Thank you. Are you going to put in a solar pump?
how long does an install like this take from start to finish?

Do you have instructions for installing in conjunction with bison hand pump?
If the pump doesn't pump enough water what could be the problem

look for 4 nuts stuffed in bag at top of pump he doesnt tell you this in the video ,so these 4 nuts are used to connect pump to motor
Thanks shane!
So it doesnt matter if its 1” or 1.25” they’ll both fit on the pump outlet? Really?
the outlet of the pump is 1.25 inches. To fit 1", you'll need to use a 1.25-->1 reducing coupler, then connect the 1" hose barb
