Things make more sense when you put them back into their original Jewish context. Yeshua didn't start a new religion like David said, the kahal (assembly) was established at the foot of Sinai not in the book of Acts like a lot of people think. What was established in the book of Acts was the empowered eschatological congregation which looked very similar to what it looked like prior to Yeshuas arrival only now with gentiles coming into the fold without having to become proselytes. The Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) is the empowerment coming on to the believer. Notice how the Ruach doesn't come on Yeshua until his immersion by Yochanan (John the Baptist) and how it isn't until after that he begins to perform miracles. I also like what David said about "churches" now are basically grooming people for the false messiah. I definitely agree with that, the church has long removed the understanding of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and Torah which should be a foundation for the believer, the moedim (appointed times) have been moved, the sabbath has been replaced with Sunday, passover with easter, Sukkot with Christmas, we believe that Yeshua did away with the temple. Examine this, in the book of Daniel we are told the false messiah will attempt change law and times, and will take away the daily sacrifices.
You are so right, I was deceived online church for nearly 4 years after I got saved by God as ex Buddhist in my room and then I finally obeyed God to go to the church he answered my prayer for and its a Holy Spirit filled church. God taught me to trust him by learning the Bible and of him before going to the church, God wants a church that truly seeking him and willing to learn and grow. God Bless you.

I would like to further stress that people SHOULD INDEED go to a church! Especially if you are not SOLID and GROUNDED in your faith fully yet. I know i am not that solid yet even though my soul is on FIRE for my Lord. I know i might fall off the narrow path if im not going to church regularly and in the Word regularly. I still need that. And that just takes self-awareness. For the devil is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. If we are sheep unto the Lord and the devil is a lion, he will pick us off much more easily if we are solitary. Christian community is our safety - our fellow flock. But know that the Word is above any pastor's teaching. The Word stands above all, so stand on it's teachings rather than man's. You've done a great job as always Brother, keep up the good fight!! @@valdezd625 it's hard for me to get to church with my walker falling apart. I have to get a new one. I don't know anyone and when I have reached out to Christians I know they don't respond back. Nowadays no one takes care of you. You have to take care of yourself. I used to remember a time when people would go out of their way. It's more about money. If you have nothing to give to them then why should they care about you. I have this walker because it's hard to walk and the dam thing is like a jungle gym it's not light weight. When I pick up groceries 8"m lucky if someone is just coming home will offer to help me. The few Christians that live in my building are older people. My super is a Christian and I'm lucky because he helps me a bit. I don't have family here or a husband. RUclips is how I get anything Christian. I wish the church was held in a home. That's how the missionary Alliance started out. I think having church at home is better because it's not like a business.
This is spot on. I used to volunteer online at a church called Life Church in Oklahoma, but it has a bunch of locations. I was drawn in by the pastor's intensity, and he seemed to have a good sense of humor. It took me a couple of years, but I just stopped volunteering there. It's motivational. It's personal stories. It's concert like worship. The church partners with many, many false teachers, like Steven Furtick, Mike Todd, Joyce Meyer, and many more. Did I say many? It's amazing how many people go to these kinds of churches.
Thought I was the only one uncomfortable with all this situation. I am from Argentina and most local churches here are way too Protestant and have unbiblical teachings. Woman pastors, constant worship, modern "Apostles" "Prophets" "Fortune tellers" and the whole message is centered around receiving blessings, improving financials, feeling the Holy Spirit and being set free. Not to mention the crazy stuff about fake speaking in tongues shouting nonsense or imposing hands shouting onto people and falling backwards or fainting. Where is the discipline? Where is the word of God? Where is the conviction? I remain studying the Bible at home, follow my own mentors and content to keep on learning and listening to worship music throughout the day. I'm currently looking for a local church but whenever I see these things I get turned off instantly. What would Jesus be doing right now? This is the question everyone should ask themselves.

The rock is Jesus he’s referring to himself. And the word church is “eklessia” meaning called out ones. Has nothing to do with a physical building. It’s a spiritual church he’s built with born again believers.

I believe the Holy Spirit directed your channel to pop up and not by accident. I've been a born again believer for a long time and used to attend a charismatic church and over time I started to get a better understanding of God's Word. I have searched for a church and to be honest I've pretty much given up. I have been watching a RUclipsr named Robert Breaker and have been studying the New Testament verse by verse, I have learned so much. I know I should be fellowshiping with other true believers. What you said about churches being like concerts and Pastors saying keep worshipping instead of getting to the word made me jump up in the kitchen saying “come ooonnn!!” Lol. This is one of the main things that bothers me is this new wave of concert worship where they spend long on worship and then once they get to the word now all of a sudden they care about time and start to rush through the sermon throwing verses out here and there instead of scripture being the foundation and diving into it. It’s too rushed and God deserves more than that. I also stopped going to churches who think it’s okay to have women get up there and teach and have authority over men and churches with women pastors or the Pastor’s wife being the “copastor” that’s a big thing too, what’s wrong with just being the pastor’s wife😅??. That’s all in churches today, it’s crazy!!! The dressing any kind of way bothers me too!
Bud I’ve been told a lot worse about me in my life. What you’re saying is true. There is no conviction anymore in the church. Everything is watered down. No one trembles before God‘s word because they’re not being told God‘s word. I remember thinking of myself one day coming into church as a slop and I said I am walking into the house of the Lord. Why do I dress like this. I should have respect for him and in his house. My dad was a very tough man and I think we need more pastors to be like that. If people think saying words is mean dude, I grew up with getting slapped in the back of my head. Always being told wake up boy. You cried, and I always got the answer. “I’ll give you something to cry about.” god is an amazing and wonderful father. But we do act very nonchalant when we’re near him. If you was to stand before an actual king, would you still be nonchalant? I think everyone needs to start asking that question.

Are we to be worried that darkness will overcome us, or are we to be a light even in the church in order to help others? That’s where I’ve been at lately too. I was just saved a year ago and I’m going through the baby phase while also having that lonely phase. All the things that I did before now are starting to fade but I’m really trying to find people that are convicted and truly want to follow Gods commands! Married with 4 kids and we learn verses together and explain it to each other even if they’re younger. Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump. Don’t normalize sin!

Just found your channel. I'm glad I found someone willing to ruffle feathers and tell the truth. Amen to what you have said in this video--on every point. I have been attending a church that I like for a few decades. But weaknesses of the world are slowly creeping into it, in very subtle ways. I can perceive them, but I wonder how many others see it. I have a minor leadership role, and I do my best to preach from the scriptures when I get the chance. It is so refreshing to the people, like they are spiritually starved of the nourishment they used to expect, but have almost forgotten. It's amazing the response I get. I think it is so sad to see the people so spiritually mal-nourished and almost begging to hear more. So many preachers are more interested in playing nice with the world, or are treating their stewardships like a corporation, instead of a ministry. Even though I see these problems with churches and even in my own, I will give the best of myself to keep the Holy Spirit alive in our community by teaching the word of God found in the scriptures. I will do it until I am no longer welcome. But, I wouldn't be ostracized by the people, but by other leaders who find the truth inconvenient. I am convinced that this is my calling--to stay in the church, and defend the flock from the wolves that want to break in. God bless you in your journey, as I know he has been merciful unto me and mine.
Why would a pastor ever tell someone that they shouldn’t evangelize online? When you brought up that you felt that you need to do this your pastor should have asked you one question- Was this Gods orders or your own? If the answer is Gods orders to you then the pastor should have told you to go after it with all your heart. Your pastor is 100% in the wrong. I'm lucky to have found a really good biblical and scripture focused church in SoCal with a great men's and young adults group that isn't afraid to push men hard. They also pick a book and we go through the entire thing week by week, so it's always tied back to scripture. We're doing Luke for mens and Nehemiah for YA. Sundays has been book of Daniel and the prophecy stuff is AMAZING!
I separated myself from the body at the Lords Day table until the Lord delivers me and brings me to Godly repentance so that I can return with rejoicing in my heart with my brother's and sisters. I have been fighting the same struggles for years and God delivers me at different seasons each time deeper than the last. He who did not know sin made sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God. Understand this verse is closely related to the fact that God said His power is perfected in weakness. When we are weak we are made strong. Not when you are strong and leaning on your own strength but when you give up and stop fighting and surrender thats when He begins.

Very close, but you're being so comfortable in the darkness with dark clothing; it's putting a damper on the light which is Christ. Your content is a blessing to me it's like a little slap to remind me of the fundamentals and who God is and what I am supposed to do in His name. I would still disagree a bit on the clothing part to be honest 😂 we're very young in my church and therefore it's common for some guys to come in nike outfits and shi like that, but I don't think we need to make it THAT serious either... God is our lord and savior, we owe Him everything and has absolute authority on our lives, but He is also our friend. My grandfather was a deacon in his church, he literally had the Bible committed to memory, no matter your problem, he had a scripture memorized to counsel you...but the wisest words I heard from him, was the story about the man who was looking for the perfect church, this man read the Bible by himself for decades, and was convinced that he had all the answers, and no matter what church he went to, he was convinced that he knew more than the pastor and the deacons and the elders, after attending every church in the area, he had a reputation, and the last church he visited, the pastor told him, if you ever find the perfect church, don't join it, because you will screw it up. And that's true, if you think you know everything, you'll never learn anything. 2 years ago, I was ordained as a pastor, and I guest preach, and visit various churches, looking for a preaching position, unfortunately for me, I refuse to turn my back on God for the culture, so I'm still looking...there's a difference between ungodly teaching, and disagreements in minor theological points.
It's better to be alone with jesus than to be in a false church. "Watch out that you are not deceived" Jesus warns us about false doctrine especially in the endtimes. I am on my own because there is no church in my town where I can grow. I study the bible on my own in prayer because I will follow the truth. I can't bear all those lies about gods word and say amen and go home. I am almost angry that so many believers are following people instead of following jesus. I grew up in a pentecostal church. it was very crazy and over the top, overly emotional music/talking in tongues/people falling over. It was how you put it, a concert. 8 piece band crazy lights and really loud music. Very much like hillsong It was rather ridiculous andIts crazy how little they use the bible when the paster has thier message on sunday, its all annecdota stories and bias to make the audience emotionally attached. They quote bible versus here and there completely out of context. I didnt care about this when I was younger as I was part of the youth group and my parents didnt know any better Now I got a church that preaches and teaches in context. They go through whole books of the new testament at a time and its really great. they sing one song during worship then get into the gospel.They are technically an anglican church but I dont identify with any labels. I just go to learn about the word of god

I too believe that most churches today are way too watered down, weak, and not willing to stand up to what ails us as a society today and preach truth. I myself go to one of the good ones (I believe) that believes in being sanctified and set apart. Read the book “From Megachurch to multiplication” by Chris Galanos. I learned a lot about the current churches and the direction of churches heading into the future. It’s a great book.
When the faith becomes institutionalized, the gospel takes a back seat. And the bigger the church, the more money it costs to continue her operations. So she has to become a business to attract more paying customers. 99% churches misinterpret the Scriptures anyway, and don’t even have the most basic understanding of God’s Word. Yes, come out of her!

Im not saying this to be hostile help you. It doesn't even make sense to call yourself orthodox if you genuinely follow Jesus Christ. It's written that factions are a work of the flesh. Galatians 5:19 "Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissentions, factions, envy, drunkeness, carousing, and anything similar, about which I tell you in advance-as I told you before-that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.". To put it differently, if someone asked if you follow Jesus, and you said that you're orthodox, that's the same as me saying I'm a church goer. Being orthodox doesn't get you into Heaven. You might say, "I only believe that Jesus Christ gets me into Heaven, even though im orthodox." And if you do worship Jesus Christ sincerely, then you are a part of the Church of Christ. Romans 16:16 "Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send you greetings.". And if someone is your brother because you're in the same faction, then are you denying being a brother in Christ? Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in christ Jesus.". And if you "just enjoy being orthodox", even if you're claiming to only worship Jesus, it comes right back to why are you dividing yourself into a faction. its like you say you follow Jesus, but hal of you belongs to the orthodox church as almost an idol. And you know you can't be half and half. Again, im saying this for your own building of the faith, and I'm convinced through the teachings of God, written in the bible, that factions are not of God. Someone once said theology without action is demonic. Even the devil knows the bible. This video is definitely convicting. What I disagree with is that we are better off without church. The church is the body is Christ and we do not function as an individual, but rather as a collective. Do not forsake the community of believers. There was ONLY the Catholic and apostolic Church up until 1500 when martin luther let his lust and anger get the best of him and now the reason you have rock concerts and lgbt "churches" who are we gonna listen to ? I’m putting pressure on myself to attend a church but in my area there’s a lot of dance churches and gossip in churches I’ve had experience with before. I’d prefer at this stage to worship alone for now. Is this ok?
It's good to be part of a church though. People are stronger together and are able to make a greater impact and have more resources available. An example of that was the civil rights movement in the 60s when the church was foundational in the fight for social equality for black Americans. Do not forsake the assmbly of the saints

Christians today act like they are part of some Star Wars clan or something when they become Christian, and it so frustrating when you meet other Christians and they ask you what denomination you are from, like, i am not from ANY denominatio, i am a born again child of God, simple as that, i seek to please God.
AMEN Brother!!! I've been considering bringing up such issues in my church because it is such a diverse church - which is a beautiful thing, I love it - but it is also diverse when it comes to the Word. We have many lukewarm members that believe in God's endless love and forgiveness (which again, yes, is beautiful and necessary) but ignore conviction and righteous judgement. There are many liberals in our church that believe in abortion and forced vaccinations and being loving toward sin. Our pastor does an amazing job and i love his sermons, but i worry that he is a little too tolerant of sinful beliefs. He does a wonderful job of preaching God's love and encouraging action within the church. But he never goes much further than that. He preaches about praise through hard times, he never preaches the prosperity gospel, but he also avoids really hard topics, such as faith without works being dead, or the narrow gate, or righteous judgement. Since he doesn't teach anything antibiblical, i still go. It is an amazing church and i love it so much. But i stand on the Word more so than my amazing pastor's sermons.

Things make more sense when you put them back into their original Jewish context. Yeshua didn't start a new religion like David said, the kahal (assembly) was established at the foot of Sinai not in the book of Acts like a lot of people think. What was established in the book of Acts was the empowered eschatological congregation which looked very similar to what it looked like prior to Yeshuas arrival only now with gentiles coming into the fold without having to become proselytes. The Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) is the empowerment coming on to the believer. Notice how the Ruach doesn't come on Yeshua until his immersion by Yochanan (John the Baptist) and how it isn't until after that he begins to perform miracles. I also like what David said about "churches" now are basically grooming people for the false messiah. I definitely agree with that, the church has long removed the understanding of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and Torah which should be a foundation for the believer, the moedim (appointed times) have been moved, the sabbath has been replaced with Sunday, passover with easter, Sukkot with Christmas, we believe that Yeshua did away with the temple. Examine this, in the book of Daniel we are told the false messiah will attempt change law and times, and will take away the daily sacrifices.
You are so right, I was deceived online church for nearly 4 years after I got saved by God as ex Buddhist in my room and then I finally obeyed God to go to the church he answered my prayer for and its a Holy Spirit filled church. I would like to further stress that people SHOULD INDEED go to a church! Especially if you are not SOLID and GROUNDED in your faith fully yet. I know i am not that solid yet even though my soul is on FIRE for my Lord. I know i might fall off the narrow path if im not going to church regularly and in the Word regularly. I still need that. And that just takes self-awareness. For the devil is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. If we are sheep unto the Lord and the devil is a lion, he will pick us off much more easily if we are solitary. Christian community is our safety - our fellow flock. But know that the Word is above any pastor's teaching. The Word stands above all, so stand on it's teachings rather than man's.

Nowadays no one takes care of you. You have to take care of yourself. I used to remember a time when people would go out of their way. It's more about money. If you have nothing to give to them then why should they care about you.
I have this walker because it's hard to walk and the dam thing is like a jungle gym it's not light weight. When I pick up groceries 8"m lucky if someone is just coming home will offer to help me. The few Christians that live in my building are older people. My super is a Christian and I'm lucky because he helps me a bit. I don't have family here or a husband. RUclips is how I get anything Christian. I wish the church was held in a home. That's how the missionary Alliance started out. I think having church at home is better because it's not like a business.

This is spot on. I used to volunteer online at a church called Life Church in Oklahoma, but it has a bunch of locations. I was drawn in by the pastor's intensity, and he seemed to have a good sense of humor. It took me a couple of years, but I just stopped volunteering there. It's motivational. It's personal stories. It's concert like worship. The church partners with many, many false teachers, like Steven Furtick, Mike Todd, Joyce Meyer, and many more. Did I say many? It's amazing how many people go to these kinds of churches.

Thought I was the only one uncomfortable with all this situation. I am from Argentina and most local churches here are way too Protestant and have unbiblical teachings. Woman pastors, constant worship, modern "Apostles" "Prophets" "Fortune tellers" and the whole message is centered around receiving blessings, improving financials, feeling the Holy Spirit and being set free. Not to mention the crazy stuff about fake speaking in tongues shouting nonsense or imposing hands shouting onto people and falling backwards or fainting. Where is the discipline? Where is the word of God? Where is the conviction? I remain studying the Bible at home, follow my own mentors and content to keep on learning and listening to worship music throughout the day. I'm currently looking for a local church but whenever I see these things I get turned off instantly. What would Jesus be doing right now? This is the question everyone should ask themselves.

I've been a born again believer for a long time and used to attend a charismatic church and over time I started to get a better understanding of God's Word. I have searched for a church and to be honest I've pretty much given up. I have been watching a RUclipsr named Robert Breaker and have been studying the New Testament verse by verse, I have learned so much. I know I should be fellowshiping with other true believers. In no way is any believer telling you to sin it is quite the opposite. Learning to love God first starts with accepting His grace and truly understanding it to its fullest extent. And even though every believer has ETERNAL life, we will all still be judged, hence why the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Rely on Righteousness, not the unrighteous. Please read the first few chapters of Romans understanding this dichotomy, you may understand just from that.

Bud I’ve been told a lot worse about me in my life. What you’re saying is true. There is no conviction anymore in the church. Everything is watered down. No one trembles before God‘s word because they’re not being told God‘s word. I remember thinking of myself one day coming into church as a slop and I said I am walking into the house of the Lord. Why do I dress like this. I should have respect for him and in his house. My dad was a very tough man and I think we need more pastors to be like that. If people think saying words is mean dude, I grew up with getting slapped in the back of my head. Always being told wake up boy. You cried, and I always got the answer. “I’ll give you something to cry about.” god is an amazing and wonderful father. But we do act very nonchalant when we’re near him. If you was to stand before an actual king, would you still be nonchalant? I think everyone needs to start asking that question.

Just found your channel. I'm glad I found someone willing to ruffle feathers and tell the truth. Amen to what you have said in this video--on every point. I have been attending a church that I like for a few decades. But weaknesses of the world are slowly creeping into it, in very subtle ways. I can perceive them, but I wonder how many others see it. I have a minor leadership role, and I do my best to preach from the scriptures when I get the chance. It is so refreshing to the people, like they are spiritually starved of the nourishment they used to expect, but have almost forgotten. It's amazing the response I get. I think it is so sad to see the people so spiritually mal-nourished and almost begging to hear more. So many preachers are more interested in playing nice with the world, or are treating their stewardships like a corporation, instead of a ministry. Even though I see these problems with churches and even in my own, I will give the best of myself to keep the Holy Spirit alive in our community by teaching the word of God found in the scriptures. I will do it until I am no longer welcome. But, I wouldn't be ostracized by the people, but by other leaders who find the truth inconvenient. I am convinced that this is my calling--to stay in the church, and defend the flock from the wolves that want to break in. God bless you in your journey, as I know he has been merciful unto me and mine.
Why would a pastor ever tell someone that they shouldn’t evangelize online? When you brought up that you felt that you need to do this your pastor should have asked you one question- Was this Gods orders or your own? If the answer is Gods orders to you then the pastor should have told you to go after it with all your heart. Your pastor is 100% in the wrong. I'm lucky to have found a really good biblical and scripture focused church in SoCal with a great men's and young adults group that isn't afraid to push men hard. They also pick a book and we go through the entire thing week by week, so it's always tied back to scripture. We're doing Luke for mens and Nehemiah for YA. Sundays has been book of Daniel and the prophecy stuff is AMAZING!
I separated myself from the body at the Lords Day table until the Lord delivers me and brings me to Godly repentance so that I can return with rejoicing in my heart with my brother's and sisters. I have been fighting the same struggles for years and God delivers me at different seasons each time deeper than the last. He who did not know sin made sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God. Understand this verse is closely related to the fact that God said His power is perfected in weakness. When we are weak we are made strong. Not when you are strong and leaning on your own strength but when you give up and stop fighting and surrender thats when He begins.

You are speaking about the light which is the church since Jesu left: your commentary is pretty much on point. Very close, but you're being so comfortable in the darkness with dark clothing; it's putting a damper on the light which is Christ. Thats why the Bible says for them that have ears to hear and eyes to see: just the old man showing you some love. from the Father of lights.

My grandfather was a deacon in his church, he literally had the Bible committed to memory, no matter your problem, he had a scripture memorized to counsel you...but the wisest words I heard from him, was the story about the man who was looking for the perfect church, this man read the Bible by himself for decades, and was convinced that he had all the answers, and no matter what church he went to, he was convinced that he knew more than the pastor and the deacons and the elders, after attending every church in the area, he had a reputation, and the last church he visited, the pastor told him, if you ever find the perfect church, don't join it, because you will screw it up. And that's true, if you think you know everything, you'll never learn anything. 2 years ago, I was ordained as a pastor, and I guest preach, and visit various churches, looking for a preaching position, unfortunately for me, I refuse to turn my back on God for the culture, so I'm still looking...there's a difference between ungodly teaching, and disagreements in minor theological points.

I grew up in a pentecostal church. it was very crazy and over the top, overly emotional music/talking in tongues/people falling over. It was how you put it, a concert. 8 piece band crazy lights and really loud music. Very much like hillsong

They quote bible versus here and there completely out of context. I didnt care about this when I was younger as I was part of the youth group and my parents didnt know any better

They go through whole books of the new testament at a time and its really great. they sing one song during worship then get into the gospel.They are technically an anglican church but I dont identify with any labels. I too believe that most churches today are way too watered down, weak, and not willing to stand up to what ails us as a society today and preach truth. I myself go to one of the good ones (I believe) that believes in being sanctified and set apart. Just wanted to throw out some love in saying that as a young man like yourself, trying to find some real truth in this world of lies, it is nice hearing someone unashamedly and unabashedly proclaiming the name of Jesus and the power that comes with His name. Read the book “From Megachurch to multiplication” by Chris Galanos. I learned a lot about the current churches and the direction of churches heading into the future. It’s a great book.
When the faith becomes institutionalized, the gospel takes a back seat. And the bigger the church, the more money it costs to continue her operations. So she has to become a business to attract more paying customers. 99% churches misinterpret the Scriptures anyway, and don’t even have the most basic understanding of God’s Word. Yes, come out of her!

Im not saying this to be hostile help you. It doesn't even make sense to call yourself orthodox if you genuinely follow Jesus Christ. It's written that factions are a work of the flesh. Galatians 5:19 "Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissentions, factions, envy, drunkeness, carousing, and anything similar, about which I tell you in advance-as I told you before-that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.".
To put it differently, if someone asked if you follow Jesus, and you said that you're orthodox, that's the same as me saying I'm a church goer. Being orthodox doesn't get you into Heaven. You might say, "I only believe that Jesus Christ gets me into Heaven, even though im orthodox." And if you do worship Jesus Christ sincerely, then you are a part of the Church of Christ. Romans 16:16 "Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send you greetings.". And if someone is your brother because you're in the same faction, then are you denying being a brother in Christ? Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in christ Jesus.". And if you "just enjoy being orthodox", even if you're claiming to only worship Jesus, it comes right back to why are you dividing yourself into a faction. its like you say you follow Jesus, but hal of you belongs to the orthodox church as almost an idol. And you know you can't be half and half.
Again, im saying this for your own building of the faith, and I'm convinced through the teachings of God, written in the bible, that factions are not of God. Someone once said theology without action is demonic. Even the devil knows the bible. This video is definitely convicting. What I disagree with is that we are better off without church. The church is the body is Christ and we do not function as an individual, but rather as a collective. Do not forsake the community of believers. If you really want to know, simply go and Find an Orthodox parish near you, attend vespers and Divine Liturgy, talk to a priest.
You’ll learn more by visiting and actually experiencing it in person as well as talking to an actual priest than you will scraping for information on RUclips.

We were told not to foresake gathering and to edify one another. The rest is religion. Jesus never once made a commit about what a person wore other than the Pharisees and sadducees gowns. I wouldn’t give people the wrong idea that you need to dress in a certain way to come into a building there the church meets. The building isn’t holy. That is Old Testament ideas in the New Testament church age. We are the holy ones not a place. He’s made that pretty clear.

I’m putting pressure on myself to attend a church but in my area there’s a lot of dance churches and gossip in churches I’ve had experience with before. I’d prefer at this stage to worship alone for now. Is this ok?

It's good to be part of a church though. People are stronger together and are able to make a greater impact and have more resources available. An example of that was the civil rights movement in the 60s when the church was foundational in the fight for social equality for black Americans. Do not forsake the assmbly of the saints

And if that guy can't find a good church, or God hasn't called him to one, that doesn't mean he's forsaking the church. Because The church is Christ's church, all who belong to Him are paid for.

Christians today act like they are part of some Star Wars clan or something when they become Christian, and it so frustrating when you meet other Christians and they ask you what denomination you are from, like, i am not from ANY denominatio, i am a born again child of God, simple as that, i seek to please God.
AMEN Brother!!! I've been considering bringing up such issues in my church because it is such a diverse church - which is a beautiful thing, I love it - but it is also diverse when it comes to the Word. We have many lukewarm members that believe in God's endless love and forgiveness (which again, yes, is beautiful and necessary) but ignore conviction and righteous judgement. There are many liberals in our church that believe in abortion and forced vaccinations and being loving toward sin. Our pastor does an amazing job and i love his sermons, but i worry that he is a little too tolerant of sinful beliefs. He does a wonderful job of preaching God's love and encouraging action within the church. But he never goes much further than that. He preaches about praise through hard times, he never preaches the prosperity gospel, but he also avoids really hard topics, such as faith without works being dead, or the narrow gate, or righteous judgement. Since he doesn't teach anything antibiblical, i still go. It is an amazing church and i love it so much. But i stand on the Word more so than my amazing pastor's sermons.
