Great list, definitely the best one on RUclips. I think Oka should be above Kei and the Telekinetic Alien though, his Hard Suit was able to tank Nurarihyon's telekinesis and he has more experience with the suit than Kei. Respect for putting Reika in the top 15, I feel like most people forget that she straight up killed an alien that knocked out Kurono's clone.

Just seen this, very good video but the oni lightning boss should be much higher. He was a beast. He completely destroyed the Tokyo team, and was only taken down by collective effort after being weakened by all of them, blinded by Sakata, and attacked by both Kurono and Izumi.
I agree he should be above Kaze and Kato. But Kei defeated Eeva, and Oka defeated a 100 pointer in the past. So i think those feats prove they are stronger than lightning boss

Shorty Alien for example could tank hundreds of bullets from the police force. Well, 17th spot is pretty good imo. What he and his crew did was impressive but all characters above him also have good feats. Although I suppose he could be above George and Knob. Fun fact - When I made the "prototype" of the list, I (even though they are technically not characters but equipment) included mechs. The top 5 of that list looked like this: 1. Aliens IROT 2. Sakurai 3. Cannon 4. Gantz mechs 5. Giant Alien's Mechs I will tell you why I changed my mind. I remembered Oka's mech got destroyed by big bull alien. And MINOR SPOILERS for Gantz e - a mech showed in gantz e and, based on the feat it had there, it would make ranking the mechs even more complicated. Ultimately, I have come to a conclusion that power of mechs is entirely dependent on the skill of the user/driver. And that ranking mechs as mechs is unachievable But, If I wanted to include mechs as equipment for some characters, this list would have became a mess. Because the majority of main cast never drove mechs, so they would be placed lower than some much weaker characters just because weaker characters drove mechs. Good example of this is Nishi. With a mech, he would be ranked much higher, and I don't think he really deserves that. So, in the end, I decided it's easier and more fair to exclude mechs. Thanks for watching :) You should read the manga, it's pretty good. Definitely much better than the anime. I personally liked it very much and was really invested in the story. Anime only covered one small part of the story. Well, not particularly strong. Alien hunters are much stronger than an average human and have some powerful weapons, but that's about it. Aliens also vastly vary in size and capabilities. Majority of the aliens mostly relies on their size and physical strength. Some have abilities that are quite dangerous and hard to defend against. Also, there are aliens that are really hard to kill because of their broken regeneration abilities.

Thanks 😄 Old man has much better feats than Anzu Anzu, Tsuneo and hunters close to them didn't really display any skills and feats that would prove they could defeat Kannon on their own. And no one of them ever wore a z gun (which can kill kannon a lot easier). Even they had z gun, I doubt any of them could kill Kannon in a 1 vs 1 About Kurono and his clone : this is the way I see it - they are literally the same person, so I don't see the reason to rank one much higher than the other. "Real" Kurono is only ranked higher because of his fight with Eeva Gund. The true "Real Kurono" is the one who died in the subway. So Kurono, clone or not, is way stronger than Kato
Thanks!! :) In their final encounter, Izumi fought and killed hundred vampires, still had the strength to fight Hikawa and died protecting his girlfriend. So, if it was a fair 1 vs 1 battle, I am pretty sure Izumi would win (although it would be a tough battle) And Hikawa didn't really "fend off" Nura. He only cut him from the back in end. That was a crucial moment for defeating Nura, but it really isn't an impressive feat on its own Nice profile picture btw ^^

Hikawa also easily evaded both Kaze and Kato when he was transferred into the room. Before that , he easily dodged everyone on the Tokyo Team shorty after killing Kurono. A lot of his wins are because he had the advantage/sneak attack, but he still has some solid legitimate feats that people look over.

My reasons for Eeva being stronger than Nura: 1) They both fought multiple hunters at the same time, but Eeva fought even more hunters than Nura and he was wiping them out even without the suit so that makes it more impressive 2) Eeva's biggest disadvantage is his big size, which makes it harder for him to dodge lasers. However, Eeva has multiple feats that show us he is ridiculously fast I think he should have no problem dodging lasers and attacking Nura outside of his senses 3) Eeva's size is also a big advantage in close combat. Considering strength and speed he demonstrated (without suit) against hunters, I am pretty sure Eeva destroys Nura in close combat 4) Lastly, Nura (due to him being nigh immortal) fights very carelessly. Eeva on the other hand wastes no time and goes straight for the kill
Some of my issues with the list. Why is Kaze above the Oni Boss when he was literally defeated by him? He traded blows equally and was putting up a great fight then got one shot by the lightning. Reika is not that strong, she mostly survived so long due to plot and fan service. What feats suggest she’s above the Osaka main trio? Kato is pretty weak tbh, Kurono definitely surpassed Izumi but how did Kato? All he does is shoot the Y gun. Kaiji Yoshikawa is way too low on here. He’s undoubtedly the most skilled sword user in the series, he killed several powerful aliens capable of tanking a Z gun shot by discovering and exploiting their weak point, all while using the Gantz sword and remaining unscathed. Even Kei was surprised by his speed. He was also able to push back the deadly Eeva Gund while dodging several lethal blows, whose movement speed “defies all logic”. He further displayed his swordsmenship when he delivered more slashes to Eeva Gund; injuring him more than anyone else, including the entire Katastrophe and American Teams until Kei landed the killing shot. He only lost cause he let guard down for a split second. Imo he’s above Kurono.
Thanks for watching and for this great feedback :) Kaze constantly progressed throughout the manga. He also performed decently against Nura. So I think he is stronger by the end. Although it would be a very tough battle. I personally believe Kaze would win, but if you (or someone else) thinks Oni Boss is stronger, I am also fine with that. It can really go either way in my opinion Reika killed Telekinetic Alien. It was off screen but it is still an incredible feat. And she scored 100 points in Italian mission. She has much better feats than Osaka main trio (they cleared the game a couple of times but we never saw any info about their missions so that feat doesn't mean that much) Kato is definitely the hardest hunter to accurately rank because he spent a good part of the manga dead. Still, he has some decent feats. He fought good against insects and giants. He is also very physically strong. He uses the sword too, and even used z gun sometimes. His rank is based a lot on speculation so I get why some people would disagree. I believe he deserves this spot You made some very good points. And I agree with you. I would rank Kaiji below Oka now. I doubt he is stronger than Kurono and Oka. Kaiji did fight Eeva for some time but Kurono fought him much longer without any help before others joined him. Oka fought Nura without any help at all the whole time. And it was stated he defeated a 100-pointer alone in the past. So I think Kurono and Oka have better feats than him
Kannon is a bit tricky to rank. He is strong, but becomes significantly weaker if you know about the clock A good example of this is the sniper, who would have defeated him if he knew he had to aim the clock All hunters above Kannon are very fast, so they should have no trouble dodging acids and lasers. And most of them use Z-guns. And I am pretty sure that Kannon would be dead for good if you shoot him with the Z-gun because the clock would also be destroyed by gravity smash
good list but why the hell is eeva above nurarihyon? i think he has almost no chance against him in a straight 1vs1. Oni boss is stronger than most Gantzer like Kaze too, he even got completely wrecked. Kuwabara is very skilled so he should be a bit higher i guess. Nishi isn,t that strong but with the hard suit and his z gun he should pretty high in the list too. And Hikawa is above Izumi no explaination. also based on equipments the hunters have someone less skilled should be above the others. Like Oka with every gantz equipment is in a 1 vs 1 just too op. wtf can kurono do to defeat him. even if you say kurono is better, i see no chance of winning for him. the big mecha oka had is to strong.

He himself didn't really do anything impressive besides raping an alien. I agree, what you wrote is completely true. When I rank hunters, I try to rank them first and foremost by skill they have shown. In Kurono vs Oka case, It's true Oka annihilates him if he has a mech and Kurono doesn't but that isn't really a fair battle right? So I either give them both a mech or they both fight in a hard suit. And I believe Kurono wins in a fair 1 vs 1 duel. @@rokudo302 because Nura don't know how he got damaged, so his regen can't active. Nura will never lose in 1v1 by his regen techniques , Eeva is very strong. But in the end, Nurarihyon will transform continuity until he counters Eeva.
@@rokudo302 nah, in close combat, Eeva will take half first round. Then Nura will transform into a giant with super speed just like Eeva, copy his fight style and counter him easily (like Oka)

He did adapt to Oka, but keep in mind that there is a HUGE power gap between Oka and Eeva. It's 100 times easier to adapt to Oka then to Eeva, who was shown to be ridiculously fast, and also strong But in the end, I can neither prove you wrong nor me right. I personally doubt Nura could "copy" Eeva's speed, size and strength but who knows I might put Nura higher when I remake the list I also think full power Cherry defeats Nura. Nura can't bypass his barrier (which withstood multiple lighting attacks and pretty much anything besides that huge alien cannon) and Sakurai just keeps killing Nura.

Reika is not that strong, she mostly survived so long due to plot and fan service. What feats suggest she’s above the Osaka main trio?
Kato is pretty weak tbh, Kurono definitely surpassed Izumi but how did Kato? All he does is shoot the Y gun.
Kaiji Yoshikawa is way too low on here.
He’s undoubtedly the most skilled sword user in the series, he killed several powerful aliens capable of tanking a Z gun shot by discovering and exploiting their weak point, all while using the Gantz sword and remaining unscathed. Even Kei was surprised by his speed. He was also able to push back the deadly Eeva Gund while dodging several lethal blows, whose movement speed “defies all logic”. He further displayed his swordsmenship when he delivered more slashes to Eeva Gund; injuring him more than anyone else, including the entire Katastrophe and American Teams until Kei landed the killing shot. He only lost cause he let guard down for a split second. Imo he’s above Kurono.

Kaze constantly progressed throughout the manga. He also performed decently against Nura. So I think he is stronger by the end. Although it would be a very tough battle. I personally believe Kaze would win, but if you (or someone else) thinks Oni Boss is stronger, I am also fine with that. It can really go either way in my opinion
Reika killed Telekinetic Alien. It was off screen but it is still an incredible feat. And she scored 100 points in Italian mission. She has much better feats than Osaka main trio (they cleared the game a couple of times but we never saw any info about their missions so that feat doesn't mean that much)
Kato is definitely the hardest hunter to accurately rank because he spent a good part of the manga dead. Still, he has some decent feats. He fought good against insects and giants. He is also very physically strong. He uses the sword too, and even used z gun sometimes. His rank is based a lot on speculation so I get why some people would disagree. I believe he deserves this spot
You made some very good points. And I agree with you. I would rank Kaiji below Oka now. I doubt he is stronger than Kurono and Oka. Kaiji did fight Eeva for some time but Kurono fought him much longer without any help before others joined him. Oka fought Nura without any help at all the whole time. And it was stated he defeated a 100-pointer alone in the past. So I think Kurono and Oka have better feats than him

Kannon was near unbeatable should be higher
Kannon is a bit tricky to rank. He is strong, but becomes significantly weaker if you know about the clock
A good example of this is the sniper, who would have defeated him if he knew he had to aim the clock
All hunters above Kannon are very fast, so they should have no trouble dodging acids and lasers. And most of them use Z-guns. And I am pretty sure that Kannon would be dead for good if you shoot him with the Z-gun because the clock would also be destroyed by gravity smash
Yeah, Kannon was insane but the problem is anyone with Z gun would one shot him lol.
good list but why the hell is eeva above nurarihyon? i think he has almost no chance against him in a straight 1vs1. Oni boss is stronger than most Gantzer like Kaze too, he even got completely wrecked. Kuwabara is very skilled so he should be a bit higher i guess. Nishi isn,t that strong but with the hard suit and his z gun he should pretty high in the list too. And Hikawa is above Izumi no explaination.
also based on equipments the hunters have someone less skilled should be above the others. Like Oka with every gantz equipment is in a 1 vs 1 just too op. wtf can kurono do to defeat him. even if you say kurono is better, i see no chance of winning for him. the big mecha oka had is to strong.

My reasons for Eeva being stronger than Nura:
1) They both fought multiple hunters at the same time, but Eeva fought even more hunters than Nura and he was wiping them out even without the suit so that makes it more impressive
2) Eeva's biggest disadvantage is his big size, which makes it harder for him to dodge lasers. However, Eeva has multiple feats that show us he is ridiculously fast I think he should have no problem dodging lasers and attacking Nura outside of his senses
3) Eeva's size is also a big advantage in close combat. Considering strength and speed he demonstrated (without suit) against hunters, I am pretty sure Eeva destroys Nura in close combat
4) Lastly, Nura (due to him being nigh immortal) fights very carelessly. Eeva on the other hand wastes no time and goes straight for the kill

Kuwabara lacks good feats to be higher. He himself didn't really do anything impressive besides raping an alien. Everyone above him has better feats than him

I agree, what you wrote is completely true. When I rank hunters, I try to rank them first and foremost by skill they have shown. So when I compare them I give them basic (or hard suit but only a few characters even wore the hard suit) suit and all weapons beside mechs. In Kurono vs Oka case, It's true Oka annihilates him if he has a mech and Kurono doesn't but that isn't really a fair battle right? So I either give them both a mech or they both fight in a hard suit. And I believe Kurono wins in a fair 1 vs 1 duel.
If I wanted to include mechs as equipment for some characters, this list would have became a mess. Because the majority of main cast never drove mechs, so they would be placed lower than some much weaker characters just because weaker characters drove mechs. Good example of this is Nishi. With a mech, he would be ranked much higher, and I don't think he really deserves that. We know Izumi is stronger than Nishi, but Nishi should be higher if he had gantz mech. And that simply didn't seem fair to me

@@rokudo302 because Nura don't know how he got damaged, so his regen can't active. Nura will never lose in 1v1 by his regen techniques , Eeva is very strong. But in the end, Nurarihyon will transform continuity until he counters Eeva.
@@rokudo302 the true power of Nura is not his lazer, but his regen and adaption. I don't think anyone in Gantz can win him except God in 1v1
@@rokudo302 nah, in close combat, Eeva will take half first round. Then Nura will transform into a giant with super speed just like Eeva, copy his fight style and counter him easily (like Oka)

Now, the key question here is - can Nura really adapt the speed and strength of Eeva? He did adapt to Oka, but keep in mind that there is a HUGE power gap between Oka and Eeva. It's 100 times easier to adapt to Oka then to Eeva, who was shown to be ridiculously fast, and also strong
But in the end, I can neither prove you wrong nor me right. I personally doubt Nura could "copy" Eeva's speed, size and strength but who knows
I might put Nura higher when I remake the list
I also think full power Cherry defeats Nura. Nura can't bypass his barrier (which withstood multiple lighting attacks and pretty much anything besides that huge alien cannon) and Sakurai just keeps killing Nura.
