Robotics is not a conventional field, in the sense you don't need to do a specific course to get into it. A lot of people choose CS or electronics for their bachelor and then later do specialisation in robotics.
Hi friend I was in the same situation 1.5 years back and have done some research there are many ways 1.if you truly want to explore the field of robotics and find what you truly love,try courses on edx website,start doing small projects using Arduino,many tutorials are available on RUclips also. 2.the best college in India for doing research in robotics is IIIT Hyderabad,you can read the research paper they publish,then comes BITS PILANI who developed India's first humanoid robot "acyust". 3.CSE and ECE are the major fields that can land you a robotics engineer job, MECHANICAL is also An option but in our country the above two branches are preferred.
