I don't know why , but Indian students, parents, society thinks that getting into tier 3 college means" life mein aur kuch nahi hoga". They don't realise that IIT is IIT, NIT is NIT, BITS is BITS is because of students. If College do not bring companies then make your own skill, a GSOC certificate is much more usefull and important than a College degree certificate. Anyways, even if you get into top colleges, it doesn't guarantee ur placement in top MNCs.

To know what most doesn't know you need to read hard stuff otherwise everyone is learning from youtube vedios you also can if you just want to scratch and the surface and want to just pass the exam then youtube and geeksforgeeks is good but then you will know nothing more than most people if you want to be extraordinary then give a shot to 1300 pages of introduction to algorithm take like 2 months to read it and more importantly implement every algorithm yourself that you learn from the book if you do just this no other learning resource will be required. And you will become god of data structures and algorithms

I never followed such videos, there is no single way, everyone has a different life and a different way of working. All my friends including me got placed in good companies On/Off campus, and everyone had a totally different journey. try to be good engineers, money will follow along.
