  • I saw these at a local outdoors store and decided to try them out since they were pretty cheap, well below the OEM Glock mag prices.

    I have a few of these amend 2 mags and haven't had any problems so far. For carry or home defense I use factory Glock mags. 🇺🇲

    My a2 can’t hold the top round in place causing multiple cases to randomly fly out of the mags. No steel lips, no buy

      Lifetime warranty if I remember correctly. Over 500 rounds with this one and no issues

    Amend 2 9mm glock style mags, if used in a pcc, will not function properly. In fact, you will encounter "brass on bolt", you read that right. The angle of the follower/rounds will send an unfired round verticle to your bolt face. Tested 3 of them, all with failure to feed the last 2 rounds, or round on bolt face.

      Had four of the 34 at the range today and thats exactly what was happening on my pcc throughout the Mag
      Not as bad on my 16” ar-9
      But definitely not good

    Haven't tried the pistol mags but love my AR mags. Price vs quality? Trust me the quality is there. I would honestly put them up against any pmag.

    In real life you whont treat your mags like that if your doing home defense anything will work its not like your going out to war and dropping mags cuz your in the line of fire

    • @JBJHonez
      @JBJHonez  2 года назад

      Right, I wouldn’t and I don’t. When running through shoot and move scenarios, they may get dropped, maybe stepped on or kicked and will get dirty. Just a video showing how they can take some beating and still work. And not all mags are reliable without a little breaking in and such and I would not run them in any scenario other than range shooting. And in combat, mags to get dropped, stepped on, ran over and then some.

      The frame for the 17/22/34 and such are the same. It’s the slides and mags that are the difference.

      @@JBJHonez Knew the 19/23, 20/21, and 17/22 were same lower, Just different internals on the lowers. Didn't know the the 34/35 shared frames with the smaller ones. Your is sweet!! Been wanting a 34, 35, & 41! Love the comp lengths, Cant beat more accuracy and FPS with any pistol round. Really want a 10-11.5in PCC in 9/.40 but i have no luck finding decent ones for fair prices. Especially now that people have lost all sensibility. I always miss any good ones!

  • @bvancere
    @bvancere 3 года назад +2

    I'm worried about these. Pro mags are trash, ets are trash I can only imagine being ONLY poly it's gonna shred it and trash it. Even knock off with steel liners get destroyed when they're off brands. Had 2 different brands get destroyed last week but threw a Glock OEM mag in and ran every time flawless. Knockoffs scare me for NEEDING them to function in certain scenarios

    • @JBJHonez
      @JBJHonez  3 года назад +4

      No issues so far. Over 500 and it still runs good, just like my ets 40rd mag. They’re more for the range anyways. I’ve got a few off brands and they work great. Some needed a little tinkering but they’ve been good for a fraction of the price. I only carry OEM mags though. All others are for the range.
      Edit: pmags have been great, no issues and all the “non-OEM” mags are at a fraction of the cost of OEM

    • @bvancere
      @bvancere 3 года назад +1

      @@JBJHonez I've noticed I don't have all the issues in my standard Glocks (minus promags) but I do have the issues in any of my ar9s with off brand magazines they seem to shred them and won't feed. I'll try two of these for range time but like you said I ONLY keep OEM mags for EDC. I know they'll work no issues every time. These scare me for that lol I did just watch another video the man dropped the amend2 mag and it split down the side. So it'll be strictly for the range. Thanks for the info and video!

    • @JBJHonez
      @JBJHonez  3 года назад

      Never saw any aftermarket ones get shredded or split in two though

      My Pmags for my Glock 19 and 26 have worked great so far, and I'm pretty sure they're only plastic too. I obviously prefer mostly OEM mags but will also use Magpul too. I'm trying to find a decent cheaper mag to use for range days.

    • @SpaceMissile
      @SpaceMissile Год назад

      i've got one of these and i'm honestly scared to put more than ~25 rounds in it. It just feels like the top is gonna bend/split apart and all the rounds will fly out like a water fountain.
      ...kinda novice on guns though so maybe I'm just being paranoid.

  • @Earlthepear69

    I found in my glock 42 those mags failed quite often.
    I did order a ProMag 32 round drum magazine but after a couple hickups at the first they ran fine after that.
    And here's a video of me using that.
