- Gday! Been trying my hand at casting Warcraft 2 live matches for a bit so decided to try and cut together the latest USA server tournament and upload to the main page! If you guys want to participate you can join the communities with the links below.
I am not a professional caster (yet) so bear with the growing pains I shall get better as time goes on. Let me know if you enjoy this content I am sure there will be more.
So 4 Teams of 3 players participated and there were 2 concurrent matches at a time so we follow along with the narrative of Team Xena who are looking strong.

@@Admiral_Iddy my grandpa and i played 1-2 together on LAN . Always whooped me as i was only 7/8 . Good memories.

Thanks! I was surprised at how active they are too! There is a USA server and a european one which has a lot of players and they are very happy to have new people join. Thanks for watchin 😄
@@Admiral_Iddy I think I'm at the point now where I just like watching experts play 😄 I did buy WC2 from Blizzard recently and played through to the end of the dark portal campaign which was fun (never managed to get anywhere as a kid, was too hard haha)
Something else I find amazing is that it's really hard to see at any one time who has the upper hand - sometimes you think that one team has definitely got it, and then the balance of power appears to change again. I feel like on a lot newer strategy games, once one side has got an obvious upper hand, it just steamrollers to an inevitable conclusion. But these matches keep you guessing. It's surprising just how good it is to watch all these years later! And the different tactics etc. Only thing I'm a bit sad about is how to play optimally you have to pick Orc :(
Its shockingly dynamic. Someone brought it up mid stream but there arent really death balls like in starcraft its more smaller engagements which could give some leeway into comebacks and back n forths...unless bloodlust vs humans then its almost always gg
@@Admiral_Iddy Ah yes, great point. Lots of little skirmishes. Makes your job harder not being able to just follow the death ball around 😄
