- Emmanuelle (Manu) Soisnard eloquently accounts her experience of St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) explaining how it has supported her journey living with a palliative condition.

Oh my goodness, I was stoic all the way through until the very end. Mme Soisnard taught me French for 5 years from 1998 - 2003. She was an amazing teacher and lovely person. I am glad she found peace.

I recognise this lady from school, but I never had the pleasure of being taught by her. She seems such a kind and gentle soul💗

Watching this breaks my heart! I wish I had, had the chance to say goodbye. I remember the day you joined The Vyne school, you were so beautiful. You taught me for 3 years and I was then bless with having you teach my daughter Leah. Manu rest now you angel. Xxx

I miss Ms. Soisnard so much. She taught me from year 8 to year 10 and was so supportive for me and helped me through hard personal time. She’s one of my biggest inspirations as a woman and again one of the strongest people I have ever met always with the biggest smile on here face no matter what day or how annoyed she could get with me when I was being a little pain in the backside. I couldn’t give anymore love in the world to anyone but this woman.

You taught me French throughout my time at The Vyne and I will always be thankful that you were the reason I passed French at GCSE. You always had time for everyone and you are an inspiration to all. You will be dearly missed, thank you for everything ❤️
She was my tutor all the way through senior school. She was always so calming for me, who developed anxiety during this time, and she was wholly understanding and was so incredibly supportive of all of us! She honestly helped me understand my own worth during this time as well, and I’m always thankful for her teaching me and supporting me for these important years of my life at The Vyne Communty School in Basingstoke! Thank you so, so much Ms Soisnard! For all you’ve done me me and I love you too! ❤️❤️💔😭

Although I was taught by Mme Croucher in year 7, Mme Soisnard often popped into our lessons to join in, singing along to the French songs with everyone. She always seemed so happy and positive, never without a smile on her face. 2 years later I was taught by her in year 9. Albeit only being a short time due to her sadly becoming ill/unable to finish teaching us that year. I absolutely loved every lesson I had. She was so lovely to me and her lessons were amazing, I was never bored in them.
Thank you for everything you did. I hope you're free from pain and resting in peace now 🕊️
Raihan here; One of the nicest teachers I have been taught by and have made French enjoyable for me. Thank you for your service, the class of 2019 and everyone will sincerely miss you! Praying for you.
