Been off the statue game for about 2 years now, so this spectacular piece was off my radar. Truly a masterpiece. I think the ghost pieces are worth the price bump over the regular, and it makes the statue an emotional piece of art. I think every TMNT fan who could shell out (heh) the money for it should have it. A great representation of an important tale in the TMNT lore, as important as The Dark Knight Returns is to Batman.
That's got to be one of the most stunningly detailed statues i've ever seen. Wow! The rear piece with the fallen brothers hits hard, almost got me man. His bros behind him backing him up. Damn. 🥲
This has some of the best paint work I've seen on any statue. Usually the SideShow products have terribly mass-produced paint applications when compared to the promo shots they show us, but this has a genuine professional paintjob on it. The green to yellow transition on the piece looks insane.

Great review! Definitely a piece that won’t ever leave my collection. It has a lot to say, very nostalgic.. I felt the same as you about the price but after seeing Aaron bartlings artwork I just couldn’t resist. Definitely worth the money PCS knocked it right out of the park with this one. 👍🏻💯💯
I loved the last ronin story. It was to see and read how each turtle and everyone gets defeated. But great story. And this piece is looms amazing. Love the expensive one. I remember this is one of the covers foe that series.
That really looks sick, the base is incredible for something that on paper is so simple ( sewers ) I really love this piece, amazing grab for any TMNT fan! 🔥
It looks absolutely amazing, but I'm really not a fan of figures that have pieces just loose like that, there should have been little slots for the weapons to key into the floor. Overall still a great piece though and glad to see you cover it!
Yea it’s an amazing piece, great paint, great textures, great base, love the clear resin sludge. I’ve seen it before but just looks so much more impressive when I can get a good look at it and see you sitting beside it. 4 character diorama is definitely worth that price, that’s the same price as the Berserker armor Guts 1/4 that I bought, so this is definitely worth the price.
Love this Last Ronin TMNT piece but not the price for the exclusive. If I had collected TMNT sculptures then I could definitely see how the exclusive version would be so tempting. Even though I don't collect them this Last Ronin piece is beautifully done and I would have gotten it just by itself. Very impressive sculpt and paint job. Love it.

Going turtle green with envy over this piece... Might have to sell off some books so I can get this. Most statues I can appreciate without feeling the want to own it, but this ones something else... The only thing I would have really wanted different would be to have some battle damage.

Especially with the magic of editing you can throw in a "warning" splash page whenever that part of the video comes up. Also digging the evolution of the studio format. 👍👍👍👍
Word. Honestly, does it even really spoil anything knowing which turtle or is? I remember when all the last ronin speculation was happening on who it would be. I thought it didn't really matter. Any of them being the sole survivor is devastating... I did however think Mike would be the best pick.
Just ordered this as it recently hit low stock. Such an incredible piece. They're also making a video game based on this comic, very curious how that turns out and what the gameplay style will be like. I am guessing more of a linear action game like old God of War would be my guess. Can't imagine them shelling (pun intended) out the money to develop a fully fledged open world action RPG, even if a lot of gamers would prefer that. We'll see!
Late to the party, the piece is great but when you factor in Leo, Donny, and Raph in there the power of the piece really comes out. I haven't read the Last Ronin, but know the story that statue is super impactful.
I'm surprised they made the last Ronin a known character. When the idea first came out I figured they'd never say who it was, it could be any turtle the reader wanted it to be.
Jumped onto the Sideshow site today to see if the C.E. qualified for the "BOGO" sale and was gonna grab it and another statue. Doesn't qualify. Bummer!
